Several of the wires began to wrap themselves around the heart of the woman, cradling it gently. At least, he tried cradling the heart as gently and quickly as the wire itself could. Even with Kiyotaka guiding the wire, the operation was still risky, the cutting power of wire was great. He had to make sure the hold was both firm and gentle at the same time, so it would not slip and would not get cut to pieces. This first part, first time actually trying, would be his slowest yet speed would come with experience.
For now though he was content with the speed he was using, as long as he didn't screw it up. He needed the practice with assimilating a heart to work with his own, and that couldn't be done with one that was badly damaged. The free wires that were not being used to gently cradle the muscle moved towards the valves, each one going for a separate valve. They would be cutting the valves simultaneously upon the command of the wire god. With a simple push of his ethereal energy the Dragon AnBu sliced through the soft tissue and freed the heart from it's damned corpse of a body.
The wires wrapped more and more around it, coating the heart with a protective layer. As it was drawn ever closer to the body of the man who was alive and dead at the same time his network of thought raced. He needed to find an appropriate weave of chakra to use on the organ to assimilate it into his body. It would not be usable in any way, but he needed to feel the thing inside his chest, else it would be a failure to the experiment as a whole. With an inhale of air, an empty gesture simply used to help focus his mind, he began.
The heart had entered his chest cavity into one of the empty mask slots and the male let his work really begin. Tenketsu slammed open causing the torrent of chakra within his system to flood the system within his artificial body. That sickly sweet joy, that hatred stained passion rushed within his form, before finally being directed at the newest heart, the dead heart. The energy wove and twisted, entangling itself in a weave both odd and unique. The Chuunin Scientist of Iwa was attempting to replicate the weave that had returned his soul to his new body.
Something did not seem to be going right though, the pattern which he used was practically identical to the one used on him. So why was it that this time it did not work, did not assimilate the heart to his own body. Perhaps not only the weave had to be different for the assimilation, but the time in which he began the assimilation. Maybe, just maybe, it would have been better if the Iwagakure shinobi had began trying to assimilate it when he first cut it away from the body. That was the time when the heart would truly begin to lose the life quickest and would affect the assimilation the most.
