Lovely Day for a Drink~[/blockquote]"Hot damn... literally, jeez."The trek through the desert was a bitch. Having to lug around so much crap with you through the scorching desert was not fun, at all. Sweating profusely, Tee had began his slow but gradual trek from the Suna village to the capitol of the country. Long, boring, dune after dune of sand, wind, almost no cloud in sight, and if there was even the smallest bit of wind, it only blew more sand in your face. It even resorted to Tee taking off both his gas masks to breathe normally.
But, the trek was uneventful, and he finally made it to where he wanted to be, at least for now. Some rest, maybe a drink, he needed the rest after that long, sandy walk. Not that he wasn't used to it, hell no, he actually loved the sand. It was just the heat, unbearable and annoying. The city was pretty big, and he was happy to see a crowd out in the open, people that were ignorant to the chaos all around. Basically, he was happy, if a little pessimistic as well.
"Sweet Hito, thank God for civilization."
He gave a few curt nods and a pleasant "Hello" here and there, for he was one happy sonuvagun. Being cooped up in that village could do a lot of crap to you. He felt more sociable than normal, and wasn't afraid to walk around with his face fully visible. The small breeze felt good in the city, where the sand wasn't as harsh as it was in the open desert. The warm sounds of people talking had made him feel like he was in heaven. Or someplace just as good. First stop, "The bar"
He opened the doors of the humble establishment and walked in, keeping his eyes straight and his bags close to him. He sat at the far end of the bar, placing his bags near his legs and close enough so that they can be visible in his peripheral, and took a long, close look at the bar. Quite large, but not too big, with a small crowd of bustling drinkers and shady characters. His kind of place. Sounds of people quietly talking, the clinks of glasses and the pouring of liquids. He turned his eyes to the bartender, and with a small smile, quickly ordered."Just a glass of water, with ice if you have any."
