The medic moved about the streets rather calmly. Around his neck dangled the symbol of his rank, his village’s headband. The day was an exceptionally good one for the village, the comfortable temperature was accentuated by nothing but sunshine. Kanji was experiencing one of the few days he got off from working around the clinic. This time was usually spent in arduous taijutsu training, however today was different. Something told the boy that it was important for a day around the village and the tranquil residential homes he passed by seemed to echo this statement.

Suzaku wiped the residue sleep from his eyes as he opened his front door. While he’d sooner bite his own tongue off as admit it, he had grown to rather like Kirigakure. No bandits, no worry of dealing with unwanted attention, and he made decent money off his blacksmith business. Flipping the sign on the front of his door to ‘Open’, he made quick work of the maintenance of the shop. A minute later, and it was ready for customers.

He walked out front, inspecting the arrows he had made recently. Certain timber never fared well in the moist air of the village, so he made it a hobby to figure out what did and did not retain its needed properties. He looked over one of the arrows, testing its flexibility when it snapped in his hands. Now frowning slightly, he threw the useless wood aside. He tested a couple more, before finding one piece that worked quite well. He retreated into the shop, retrieving the type of timber he had found satisfactory. He re-exited a moment later with both the wood and a chair. Searching the street quickly, though for what he had no idea, he sat down on the chair. Retrieving a small carving knife, he began to shape the wood into the general shape of an arrow shaft.

Laying back against a bench, Minoru flipped through the book in his hands, reading his favorite fable. The gorgeous day outside combined with the chance to leave the chaotic mess that was his home was a perfect combination. He looked up, watching the passersby, each enjoying the pleasant weather as well.

He closed his book and got up, scanning the area around him again. Might as well do something other than just standing here, he thought, planning his next place to explore. He gazed into the shops and buildings he passed before, picking one at random to enter. A weapons shop… meh… why not? thought the quiet man. The door opened with a light bell, as he stepped in. He stood blankly in the room, staring outwards blankly.

An audible cough sounded behind him, as the owner of the establishment loomed by the doorway, “Can I help you?”

Suzaku tried best not to scare away customers; after all they were what helped him pay the bills. Leaving the chair and unfinished arrow behind, he re-entered the shop, moving behind the counter and grabbing his trusty smock. A moment later it was tied and he was giving the newcomer a passive look.

He needed to stock up on stuff soon, as it stood he was only making ends meet on orders.

Kanji watched someone enter a shop and, trying his best to be sneaky, decided to follow the person inside. His foot caught the door just before it had fully closed and so the medic opened it as quietly as he could. The man before him was several inches taller, and as such blocked his view of the rest of the shop. “Sorry,” The boy called suddenly placing his hands on the man’s shoulders and jumping up to get a better view. “Huh you got some interestin stuff in here, I guess.”

With that the boy set out about the room like a whirlwind picking up objects, examining them for a moment, and then putting them back badly out of place. It was interesting enough, and the boy’s short attention span was satisfied for the moment even if he didn’t care much about the people in the room with him.

Sighing, Minoru rested his face against his palm. His headband, tied tightly around his right arm sparkled slightly as it reflected off the light. He had decided to enter the shop for the sole reason that it was not like his own, disorganized household, but with inclusion of this new… client… things were spiraling out of control.

“Hold on, kid…” grabbing Kanji’s shirt with his hand, preventing him from moving like he would to his brothers, “Enough with this, you’re in a public place…” He looked up at the shop keeper, glaring at the two of them. “Sorry about his mess…” he looked back down the younger adolescent, still fighting against his grip, “To be honest, I have no clue who this guy is…”

Suzaku resisted the urge to throw something at the two, instead settling for a dispassionate sigh, “It’s fine, business has been slow today anyways so I suppose I can’t be picky…” he looked over the two, “no matter how distasteful the client.”

He set about restoring the shop to its former rights, his hands a blur as everything was back to relative normality inside of a few minutes. Another sigh, and he had turned back to the two customers, “So then, I’m Suzaku. I’m afraid my stock is lacking, but if you wish to order something go right ahead. The catalogue is over there,” he motioned to the book sitting on the counter, “oh and please, refrain from further making work for me.”

“Bah you two guys are no fun.” Kanji said easily breaking free of Minoru’s grip. “The name’s Kanji Adachi, remember it well. Pretty soon you’ll see posters about me all over town.” The boy look indignant however a sigh gave way a few seconds later, “That is whenever I can grab some more money.”

The boy picked up a single kunai and began shifting it around in his hands, “Don’t expect much business from me, even if I did have the money I…” The boy trailed off as a rather large amount of blood began flow from his finger. “I suck with weapons.” Kanji put the kunai back down and looked at his finger, “Meh been worse.” It was a few seconds as the boy’s uninjured hand seemed to pulse a multitude of colors as the boy coagulated the wound, disinfected it and finally healed it. With a small sense of pride the boy examined his newly healed finger where only the tiniest line told of the injury that had been there. He turned quickly and left the shop suddenly bored by the rather serious nature of what was going on.

Shosen no Jutsu (Healing Hands Technique)
Rank: D, C, B, A, S
Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: The user heals injuries that repairs physical damage.
Special: --
Drawback: certain injuries may be impossible to cure or may take a long time to cure. The amount of chakra used is proportional to the injury required to be healed.
Description: The user gathers chakra into their hands, creating a bright green glow around them. The user then forces the healing chakra into the body of the patient, healing physical damage. This technique requires three movements to heal a minor injury and six movements to heal a major injury, minus one for every rank in this technique above D the user possesses, to a minimum of one. Starting at B rank, the user is able to heal critical injuries with this technique. Healing a critical injury requires sixteen movements, minus one movement for every rank above B the user possesses. Remove one movement from this process for every difficulty rank above D the user possesses.
Limit: Must be a medic, must know Gantai no Jutsu.

Ketsuki Gyouku (Blood Coagulation)
Rank: D, C, B
Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: Stops blood flow from injuries through clotting.
Special: --
Drawback: Large wounds can take a long time to stop the blood flow from.
Description: The user focuses chakra around their hands, creating a faint white glow around their hands. The user then places their hands on the wound, focusing chakra into the blood and coagulating it. Minor wounds take three movements to clot, whilst major ones require six movements, and critical injuries, such as a severed limb, requires nine movements to clot. For every rank above D you possess of this technique, remove one movement from the coagulation, to a minimum of one. For every difficulty rank above D you possess, remove one movement from the process.
Limit: Must be a medic.

Seimei no Jutsu (Clean and Pure Technique)
Rank: D Rank
Skill: Medical Ninjutsu
Effect: Cleans out a wound so that it can be bandaged and fixed properly.
Special: ---
Drawback: The technique is difficult to use on large wounds, requiring greater chakra precision to ensure a properly cleaned wound. Is not effective against poisons unless the technique is administered immediately on the area where the poison was entered, and only works on poisons which are placed upon items, and not poisons that are inhaled. Only removes Poisons D Rank or lower.
Description: As everyone within the medical profession is aware, in order to stimulate proper healing without fear of infection, a wound, before healing, should be properly cleaned. In order to save patients from experiencing a greater amount of pain, a medical genius invented this technique. By channeling chakra through the hands, a clear white light envelops them. Then, channeling this white chakra into the wound, the user removes impurities within the wound, such as dirt and grime. It also works to actively remove bacteria in the area of the wound. Once completed, the wound is clean and ready to heal. This technique, as a side effect, helps reduce the visibility of scarring as a result of injury. One movement for every six inches is required.
Limit: Medical Ninjutsu

“Whoever said weapons were the only things I carried?” Suzaku replied haphazardly, sitting back behind the counter and resting his chin on his hands, “I offer explosives, clothing, hell I’ve even made a few electronic devices before. Lots of different orders come in. Once I know how to make ‘em, they go in that catalogue.”

His bored eyes peeked out at the second figure that had held Kanji back, “You said you didn’t know him. Why bother to do anything then?”

“Common courtesy, I guess…” he mumbled, browsing through the wares in the shelf closest to him, “I just imagined what I would feel if someone randomly barged in and began to create a huge noise. Plus… If that kept up any longer, I would have gotten a headache…”

“Oh, excuse me for not introducing myself earlier…” started the boldly dressed man, “My name is Minoru Akiyama, though I doubt you’ve ever heard of me anymore.”He browsed around the aisles a bit more, picking up the odd weapon or device. Pretty good craftsmanship… he thought… “So do you own this shop, or does somebody else?”

“The shop and everything in it is mine,” He answered, absent-mindedly moving the back of the shop. Replacing the kindling in the forge that lay there, he continued his answer as he struck a match, “I’ve been managing, working, creating and selling goods here for little over a year now. Doesn’t bring in as much as missions, but work for a Genin is scarce save for the chores they constantly push on me. Even then, I can do about the same line of work just working in this shop.”

He motioned to the catalogue once more, “If you’re that interested in my work, then why not go through the catalogue? You can find just about as much information there.”
