"Well nice to meet you Kyo." I said to the new ninja. "It's ok," I said looking to his ear, "Kireme always seems to win the sparring around here and from the looks of it you got off light. Honestly, it'll give your ear some personality and besides, chicks dig scars and all that right?" I tried my hardest to disarm Kyo with a bright smile, but a flash of annoyance crossed his feature for a brief second. Some people could own their own mistakes, but I was getting the feeling this guy was having a hard time doing so. Pride was a helluva thing, and it usually came right before an untimely downfall. That might be something I could exploit later on.

"Well to be honest with you guys I was only passing through the area when I heard you guys having a little battle. Unfortunately, by the time I got here all the fun was already over..." I trailed off, truly disappointed. "Speaking of only passing through, have any of you guys seen the Amekage lately? The guy just up and vanished. Maybe kidnapped or something? Regardless it doesn't matter, we still look like the weakest village on the mainland."

I didn't like to talk half as much as I just did, but it would be easier to get the other two started if I brought up a subject that might get their minds engaged and provide me with some information that might prove to be useful. Just then lightning flashed across the sky, the thunder sounding off a few seconds later. I brought my gaze up to the sky just in time to notice the dark clouds thickening and preparing to open up over Amegakure as they usually did. I flipped the hood of my cloak back up, shielding my hair before it stood a chance of getting wet.

The spacey ninjas eyes wandered up after hearing Kaminari mention his prior experience with sparring, remembering his bout with the red eyed puppeteer. He also realized he actually had never sparred with Kaminari before, although he reckoned that it was just a matter of time really. Once he had finished thinking about this he suddenly noticed that the kunoichi was still talking about Kyos ear, sending a new jab of guilt stabbing into his stomach.

The Kunoichi continued, explaining how she was just roaming at the moment when she met up with the pair, drawn to the sounds of their battle. Kireme nodded 'It was probably his techniques you heard,' he'd say, tilting his head towards Kyo.

As she spoke onwards she'd then remark on the status of the village leader. Kireme hummed, it had actually been a while since the place had a visible leader, lately it seemed as though the village was being lead by an invisible hand, the space ninja made a mental note to try and meet with the current leader at some point, at least to clarify that mystery.

When she declared that Amegakure was weak, however, Kiremes mood changed rapidly. His brow frowned and his hands clenched into fists that creaked his thick white gloves. By the time she had put her hood up his face was turning pink and he raised a hand to point angrily at the kunoichi 'Do not call out village weak,' he'd say 'this is the greatest village, we owe everything to it, if there's a problem with it then it's our responsibility to fix it!' He'd fold his arms across his chest and sigh, trying to calm down and already feeling somewhat embarrassed at the outburst.

After a while he'd raise his head up to face them once more 'How about we do a mission?' he'd offer 'We could check out the tower and while we're there ask about the village leader, I'm actually rather curious about that too, sound good?'

Honestly I could really care less what ‘chicks dig’- It’s only my vision that matters when it comes to my art, damn it,” he ranted as his gaze switched between glaring at the two. Not happy with her for suggesting such a thing, and Kireme for leaving that wound in the first place. It probably became relatively clear at that moment, that he wasn’t entirely right in the head. The artist seemed to calm down a little when the topic switched over to the status of their kage and village status, and with how he merely blinked at Kireme’s little outburst, it was obvious that this subject he cared far less about. “Well, if you imagine Amegakure as an old painting that has passed ownership many times, of course it’s bound to be damaged. But it’s nothing that can’t be restored, if the ones in charge of it have an appropriate amount of skill,” Kyo said with a nod, what he was saying making perfect sense in his mind. He liked to relate things to art; there was no doubt about that. For a moment he remained silent when Kireme suggested them all heading over to the village’s headquarters, using some of the rainfall to wipe the blood off his ear and hand as he thought about it. “Hm, I suppose it wouldn’t hurt to find out who’s running this place nowadays. But to be seen there with you two…?” Kyo trailed off in thought at that question, honestly considering whether or not he would want to be seen in public with these people. His image was everything to him, after all. “Fuck it, I’ll go. I need to talk to him anyway,” he finally agreed after a short pause, nodding almost reluctantly. Kaminari wasn’t too bad, but the other male looked like a freak. Ah well, the skill the strange man held sort of made up for it.

It seemed like my good natured conversational skills needed some work. it was becoming blatantly obvious that I had both annoyed and angered the two men, and very easily as well. Temper, temper. I though to myself with a smirk. After Kireme's outburst and Kyo's girl like whining, the space suit ninja I had grown accustomed to came up with a great suggestion.

"How about we do a mission?" Kireme asked of Kyo and I. "We could check out the tower and while we're there ask about the village leader, I'm actually rather curious about that too, sound good?"
I wasn't sold on the whole mission thing, especially since I had plans to leave the village coming up. I was however, very curious about the state of our leadership, and so going to the tower to know who was giving the orders was probably not such a bad idea.
"I'm in." I said in a very plain manner.
“Fuck it, I’ll go. I need to talk to him anyway.” Kyo said after taking a short minute to deliberate with himself before making a decision.

"It's decided then, we should leave here as soon as possible, it looks like the rain is definitely about to start falling." I said just as another burst of lightning flashed in the sky. The clouds opened up, spilling their rain in heavy volumes. Thunder echoed off the long walls, welcoming the village back to it's normally wet state. I turned around from the two men, walking at a slow enough pace for the men to catch up as I headed towards the tower.

Kireme listened to Kyos comparison of Amegakure to an old painting, while he did appreciate the comparison of the rain village to a masterpiece of art his face started to glow when he called it damaged. In the end though the spacey ninja had to agree, it was up to the people in Ame to make it pristine once more.

His idea on visiting the Kages tower to answer the question as to just who was their leader was successfully a popular one as both his companions agreed. The astro shinobi calmed down and nodded as Kaminari began walking off to the tower, he himself was rather eager to go since suddenly a strong downpour had struck the party and Kiremes suit was in danger of getting waterlogged again. 'I'll follow you,' he called out to the kunoichi and he began along the path behind her, although first he turned his head to face Kyo 'I'm honestly not sure where it even is but it looks like she knows,' he said to the artistic ninja. He shrugged and then plodded off towards the tower.
