14/30
Axel sighed sheathing the blade touching his forehead to the ice mirror watching the muddy water flowing as the rain fell on his head streaming through the crimson locks of his hair. He watched the rain froze on the ice from the cold. he couldn't understand what part of this wasn't working he was freezing it but it didn't look right and it was textured with ice crystals.
He growled deep as his fangs ground together and his claws grew sharper than normal. His frustration boiled over as he sank his claws deeper into the chunk of ice. While turning he forced more torque into the action and threw it across the land making it sail through the air before hitting and flipping off a rock before shattering into a fine mist of ice that stabbed into a thick hard tree trunk.
Axel huffed and growled at the failed attempt as his eyes flickered with frustration. He slowly started to calm with the falling rain cooling his heated blood, His mind started to function again as he stared up at the clouded sky looking at the clouds. Then it hit him. quite literally. A chunk of hail hit him in the forehead making him wince as he held his forehead looking at the ice.
The process of rain and condensation and freezing that made hail also made hail into foggy looking ice. Axel's process of thinking and trials he had made already concluded in the fact that as ice freezes slowly it would become frosty and foggy. So if it were to freeze faster...
Axel breathed in deep and held out his arms drawing on the water pulling it up gasping at the feel of chakra leeching from him. The water gathered quickly from the ground and the rain pulling it together into a solid rectangular prism of water still and placid. Now. For the moment of truth.
He cooled his nerves and concentrated on the block focusing on his icy core and drawing out the frozen aura hidden in his blood. In his own heritage. A sudden rush of cold wrapped around the area closing in on him from every angle and every side freezing the mud under him, the grass along the ground and the prism of water was now a solid sheet of reflective glass-like ice. Axel panted leaning on the mirror seeing how ragged and wet he looked. quite simply he looked like shit.
And so the wolf conquered the winter... or did he?...
he felt his weight shift and looked up seeing his hand sinking into the ice as it absorbed him. Axel yelped and he moved his feet to brace himself and pull out his arm but the movement made his feet slip in the made making him fall through the ice and face first into the mud dirtying his crimson hair looking like dirty blood. "Son of a-"
THUNK!
As the solid piece of ice fell on his head. -.-
