Genki sent a smile towards Maiske that once again pissed her off. Why did he have to be so nice? She didn't like it at all one bit. Her gritted her teeth, letting the slightest growl emit from her vocals. She stood up and clenched her fists together against her sides. She looked him directly in the eyes, her gaze intimidating. She had a fierce look to herself at this point, as if staring at her long enough you would fall to the ground, cowering in fear. "What the hell do I have to do to get this right?" she stated. She meant it as a statement but it took the form of a question instead. She stared directly into his eyes, attempting to force the answers right out of him. He chuckled and she snarled once more. She grumbled to herself, her annoyance clearly showing. If he didn't stop trying to be so encouraging, she would let her rage loose. She wasn't taking any shit from anyone at this point in time. Her mind was set on her training and that was all.
He sighed and explained to her. "What I am thinking is your problem is you are not concentrating enough. You must be sure to concentrate your chakra through the sword the whole time until the flame is away from the sword and not touching it. This will create the largest power for this particular technique. And possibly if you swung that sword of yours down faster it would help. I know you have the power to do this, stop being in such denial." Maiske pierced her gaze at him. She realized he was right but still felt pathetic for having to take his advice that would probably work in the first place. She let out a sigh, grabbing her sword, placing it upon her shoulder. She walked forward to her the spot where she previously tried. She did realize that she had the strength to do this, but was she trying hard enough, was the question.
She cracked her neck and her knuckles, preparing for another attempt at this. She swung her sword around in the air for a moment, taking a proper stance to help her stay upright. She started to spin the sword and as soon as she started, she started to channel her chakra into the sword. She spun it around as quick as she could, using her hands to guide it in a perfect motion, she concentrated a great deal of chakra into the sword, and she suddenly swung it down hard and fast. She remembered to keep concentrating her chakra forward until the flame was away from the blade. The fire escaped off of her blade, spinning forward.
She rested her sword down, pointed at the ground next to her, resting her hand on it. She watched her flames go forward until they hit a tree, exploding in flames. She quickly performed a water technique, as there was water nearby and she extinguished the flames. She smirked, in an evil way, realizing she had finally been successful. She sat herself on the ground, taking in a breath and stretching herself out. She heard Genki coming over and she didn't even look at him before speaking. "Well... How was that, Genki?" As soon as the words left her mouth, she flicked her gaze towards where he stood.
"Maiske, you are improving and--" He was cut off when she interrupted. "Genki... Call me Kin. I'm not formal when it comes to my own name.." She stated as a correction. Genki blinked and continued. "Okay then... Kin, You are indeed improving and I hope to see much more from you with training. You seem like a good student to me and I am going to try and teach you all that I know. I am quite good with the fire element and I know a bit of genjutsu as well as I heard that you also need to training in your genjutsu." Maiske was puzzled for a minute at how he knew about her fail at genjutsu and then it came to her. She talked to herself a lot and she had noticed him around, but never really spoke to him until she needed help training. "Uhm, yes, that would be good actually... I want to master fire first though." Genki nodded towards Maiske, showing he understood.
