Bold footsteps protruded the forest of kinsmen. Grass and treetops shifted to and fro diligently to the grand wind which swept past the senju residence frequently. Yosuke was prince, and his entrance to this same villa usually meant he was here to for the purposes of power. He appeared slowly with no shirt, his lower body covered by red shodai armor. Gekigami rested alongside this armor, gold hilt and red handle. Surrounded by forestry and silence he awaited his kinsmen, but none showed. The awkward shoulder of aloneness beat upon yosuke’s back. ”something is amiss.” he said aloud although his voice would never reach any barrier. He had anticipated being alone because he hadn’t noticed anyone of his arrival but he did not anticipate the forest to be alone. With a quick tread he hastily moved throughout the arms of the forest attempting to rid himself of this empty feeling.
Yosuke’s silver optics rid themselves of vision for just a second to reminisce in the training of his brethren. There were many of techniques that were being taught and one in particular he remembered very well. ”Gosunkugiwana” parted from his lips as he forced himself to remember the hand seals which was being taught with the technique. His fingers indulged one another by grasping each other within their respected gaps. Middle finger was placed beside middle finger; pointer finger to pointer finger; thumb to thumb. Their images were like blurs in the shade so his tactics were surely hidden. What wasn’t hidden however was the green rim of chakra circulating right behind him as he dashed along within the woods.
More flashbacks came to him from his previous training those many years ago. He had been trampling over wooden creations, earthen creations, and water-like substances which were aimed at ripping him to shreds. All these creations were manifested in god-like forms but lightning tiger pushed through them with blood and sweat masquerading every inch of his pore. Gosunkugiwana was one of the techniques which held him baffled for long enough moments that he was stricken with recoil. Deadly spike traps lay along the bottom of it and there was no way to get over the pit except to jump. But what caused even more confusion was that there were more than one prepared. All around him circles of chakra protruded from beneath his feet in order to trap him within the tiniest of corners.
Yosuke was not one to fret nor give up in situations such as these so he did all that he could to escape by letting himself….fall victim to the traps. He used the rose from around his neck to latch onto the tree tops over and over, snatching it back and flicking his wrist to snag along to yet another branch. The training was very vigorous but he learned one thing from it all, and that was how to perfectly ensnare someone within the pitfall. There was a time and a place to use such a trap and there was no easy way of performing it at the right time. As the flashback ended Yosuke found himself staring into the skies with his hand trickling across the rose across his neck. A prize from the chuunin exams, his life, was represented within that rose.
The snap of a twig from yosuke’s flank quickly reached his ears in time enough to tell that someone was in fact following him. As he turned he saw men wrapped in white garments standing before the trap he had made. Was it fate or luck which made Yosuke train such a technique? The spikes beneath were sharp and razor tipped with such pinpoint that the suns light reflected off of it. His silver optics raided their silhouettes in attempt to figure out who the hell they were. With just three more hand seals a second ring would be set to the mens flank. It would fall instantly, trapping those white cloaked men within a thin line of earth. They moved not. In his eyes they seemed like zombies, unaware of what fear really was. But they would soon know what that meant.
