Name: Red Cloud Rising

Plot:

A gigantic cloud of red hovers over the Grass country. It is floating directly above a large crater in the earth, in which a village was confirmed to have been located at. This red cloud is at a much lower altitude than normal clouds, and definitely contained no form of water. No one has been able to confirm what it is yet, but everyone is pretty sure that it caused the destruction of the small village.

However, that is apparently not the most concerning problem to a wealthy royal family who lives in a castle nearby. Apparently the eldest princess of the royal family, who was passing through the said village before it disappeared, has also disappeared with the village. No one is sure how the village disappeared from the world, but the father of the royal family wants his daughter back. As long as it isn't confirmed that she is dead, he wants her found. A costly message was sent by him to all the Shinobi villages within his distance, almost ordering them to send help for his daughter.

So far, all the first arrival shinobi have failed to find any trace of the princess, or anyone who has disappeared. Even the most powerful of sensor types have not been able to detect anything within range of the red cloud, and the only thing with any type of chakra presence is the cloud itself. The chakra nature is constantly shifting, having no definite form, so it is still a mystery on what it actually is.

Unknown to all of the world, the cloud is a gateway for a dark and evil being of chakra. Clockwheel, considered almost a god, is the controller of the gateway. He is after something, and very few individuals know of his existence. Trion, the being of chakra, a deity of equal capability as Clockwheel, the supposed 'good' god, is trying to stop whatever Clockwheel is attempting to do. Both are unable to physically affect the world themselves, and have both resorted to the same method of attacking each other. The two deities are finding followers that they could bind with their power, making them more powerful and trying to use their physical power in this land for their own benefit against the other god.

The two great being of chakra are both in understanding that war would only cost them their followers, and would only slow them down. Each has found a unique goal that they will have their followers do, some of them clashing together. One of Clockwheel's first goals is in the vicinity of the red cloud, someone or something in the area is what he is trying to obtain. That certain target seems to be no use to Trion, so it seems that there are no indications of Trion's presence.

Clockwheel has made the first move, and has already obtained seven unknown followers, it is assumed that one of those followers is in the area close to the red cloud, guarding and helping it. The Shinobi called to the red cloud have the high ranking mission of finding the princess, and the one who finds her can reap the rewards of the mission. They know nothing of Clockwheel, but it is highly likely that he will show his presence earily with such a gathering of Shinobi he could corrupt and turn into his followers.

Location: Grass Country, Unique Thread

Rules: Standard Site and Event rules, declaration of death from two mods will be final.

Deity System: If you voluntarily agree to serve one god, and the god accepts you, you can not reverse the decision, meaning you can never switch to the other god. This is a two sided series of events where you pick a side and you will stick to that side in ever other event of that nature that you attend in. Events could end early for those that pick a side, reward and all, since their part in the event ends when their respective deity is done. Those with a side can be blessed with unique side-exclusive powers that could only be used during the event in the presence of their respective deity. Side-exclusive weapons obtained from the Deity are usually approved beforehand, so may be used in regular roleplay.

Prize(s): Items given by respective deities for people who have chosen a side and have been approved by the deity in question. Ryo reward based on condition of Princess for mission completing.

Plot:

A strange old man in his sixties by the name of Jishir Yamanaka has somehow stolen, or at least claim to have stolen, a priceless artifact from the vault of a royal family. The royal family does confirm that it is indeed missing, but they did not announce what the artifact actually is. Jishir has claimed to have hidden the artifact somewhere that can only be accessed by himself, and refuses to give the artifact up.

What keeps the old man out of jail is the fear of the royal family, who fear the permanent loss of the artifact is he somehow dies in jail. Jishir is instead on house arrest, guarded every hour of every day in his home. Jishir has promised that he would not kill himself, and would willingly give back the artifact if anyone could figure out the place where he hid it. He even noted that he would drop hints, all in the form of complicated mind games.

However, as simple as it seems, it is actually not. This artifact, although kept a pretty big secret up until now, has attracted an underground organization who call themselves the Gastroluna, Destructive Moon. They have send multiple high class Yamanaka jutsu users to try and extract the information from the old man, but the old man, also being a Yamanaka, has stopped every attempted by himself with his fast mastery of the mind. Alternatively, this organization has also invaded the home of the royals in an effort to obtain any clues the old man left behind, they are usually stopped. However, it is likely that eventually they will send an organization member that will not be halted in his invasion.

Thus, in this crisis, the royals had to turn to whatever Shinobi they could reach. They have requested interrogative or intelligent shinobi to try and obtain the artifact location, and strong offensive and defensive shinobi to handle the organization of Gastroluna. Rewards are to be given to the one who figures out the location of the artifact, and to all so successfully fight off the Gastroluna organization. A major reward will be given to the one who obtains the artifact, and the one who brings down the organization leader of Gastroluna.

Simple, or as it should seem from the outside, but there are some sly tricksters in the Shinobi world, aren't there?

Location: Fire Country. One thread for the house of the old man. One thread for the royal family's house. One thread for the location of the artifact if it is found out. One thread for the organization if it has been found.

Rules: Standard Site and Event rules. Death announced by two mods is final.

Location of Artifact and Defense of Royals are Minor Objectives.

Obtaining the Artifact and Eliminating the Gastroluna Organization Leader are Major Objectives.
