She hadn't trained a jutsu of this rank for quite some time, and Shiki couldn't help feel a little apprehensive. It wasn't that she wasn't capable of learning such a technique, as naturally she was, it was just that it required commitment and dedication, both of which the girl happened to lack. Additionally, training this kind of genjutsu, with almost no tangible effect, simply forcing an opponent into a state? That was hard enough in itself.
Regardless, she was to learn it, and that was that. The one thing that would help was the 'Sleeping Alone' jutsu, as it was, in a way, the prerequisite for this, more powerful, technique. Except here, Shiki didn't even have a scent to base the jutsu upon, everything went on in both her mind, and the mind of her opponent, and she knew that it would take some sort of trick to train efficiently. Either way, Shiki couldn't train this on her own. It would take targets and victims, poor unsuspecting civilans as always.
And so, Shiki headed once more to the trading outpost that she so often frequented, like a bad spirit, looking to haunt and inflict pain upon the innocent residents. Of course, the kunoichi would never visit pain upon these people, as most of her jutsu were simply incapacitating, mostly of the harmless variety. At least, that was how she reassured herself. She decided to visit the coffee shop as before, rather than standing in the rain for hours on end, trying to make people hurrying by succumb to her techniques.
The bell rang as she opened the door, and once again, she bought the cheapest hot chocolate she could. If only they would let her just sit there and be creepy staring at people and making hand gestures. Slipping into a small booth, with the nice padded seats, Shiki's eyes began roaming the tearoom. At least there were a few people here, and, should all else fail, the kunoichi would simply practice her jutsu on the staff. That may, of course result in unfortunate events, but really, her training came far beyond the needs of people making coffee.
