Can't believe you fools actually believed me when I said no metrosexual tea parties! MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA
Name: Tsuchikage Inauguration
Rank: A
Plot: 'Tis a time for both joy and sorrow in Iwagakure. A beloved Kage moves on, and a new one takes her place, such is the circle of life. Keeping with tradition, an inaugural festivity has been planned to take place within the grandiose Kage tower. Many forms of recreation have been planned; delicious foods, socializing, games, and many other activities.
Unfortunately for Iwagakure, evil never sleeps, and even in this time of relative peace and celebration, dark forces begin to put their diabolical plans into motion.
Location: Iwagakure
Who May Attend: Iwa Ninja only, unless specifically invited.
When?: August 31st
Rules:
-The event is Death Enabled.
- What I say, goes. No ifs ands or buts.
- When involved in my events, every participant starts off with three "lives". What a life does, is essentially allow you extra chances in a fatal situation. If you die or are killed during the course of the event you will have three extra chances to live. At the expense of a life, a fatal blow will be downgraded to a knock-out blow, a non-combat related death (such as being crushed by debris or falling to your death) will be interrupted by someone randomly saving you, etc. Point being, lives alter the situation in your favor so that you can survive. There is a catch to this system, though. If you are faced with a fatal situation and I feel like you didn't try to survive it, I will simply kill you, regardless of how many lives you have. The life system is not designed to allow you to lean on them like a crutch whenever you are faced with a difficulty situation. It's designed because my events tend to be dangerous and it is easy to die in them. Therefore, I will only save you with one of your lives if I see that you actively put some effort into trying to survive.
- There are no excuses for missing IIC, only consequences. If you miss it you will face consequences, even if the reason for missing it is dire, and even if you tell me before hand, it won't make a difference. The reason the IIC is so strict is because, one, it's imperative that the story remain fluid and moving, and two, the consequences for missing IIC aren't that severe. If you are in a non-lethal situation (such as in a room by yourself or in the middle of a conversation with someone), then you will simply be skipped in the posting order. However if you are in the middle of a dire situation and you miss the IIC then you will sacrifice a life and be KO'd instead of killed. As long as you are MIA your character will remain knocked out. If I feel that you are deliberately missing IIC to avoid something IC'ly then I will simply kill you. I will use probable cause in that decision, so be weary if you want to try to be sneaky.
- Chain of Command. It exists. Adhere to it. Everyone wants to be that lone wolf Devil May Cry badass, but that shit doesn't fly when you're in the Military. If a Ninja of a superior rank gives you an order, you do it, even if it's from an NPC. Failure to comply in a combat situation within reason will be seen as insubordination, which will net you a world of trouble.
IIC Length: 48 Hours, absolutely no exceptions.
Prize(s): 15,000 Ryo per participant
