||Enter, the Kyohaku Shinku
Crimson cloak covered my body, falling down to my feet as my hood covered my head. Leaving the lands blessed by the Amazon Rain, I looked back on my memory, and realized I never really finished it. It was nevertheless, a good time to go back to it as I continued to walk down the path to fire. I wondered what strange—if any—events would happen during my training there. Sighing, I allowed myself to drift back to the past once more…
Six warriors stood in a straight line before the elders as we were then sent to the room for a test. This was a military test that was administered once every month-and every month, someone died. I never knew why I was placed in this test—since I am part of the Royal Family, but I guess even that does not protect me from taking the military test. I sighed to myself as I thought of new idea to manipulate them. Smiling under the darkness of my hood, I released my soon-to-be innate element, as it withered through the air. It got stronger and stronger as more chakra was put into it. Once I was confident about the sounds in the air, I proceeded to take control. Before the test was even initialized, a deadly whisper clawed through the air, grabbing the ears of these foolish people I call my kindred, “Beware of the Phoenix King…”
Laughing inside at the mere shock that ran through the minds of those around me, I quickly took control as the mere word, “begin” boomed loudly in the air. I spoke, in all but a whisper, sending voices here and there. I tricked those who next to me, and those who were next to them. I turned one against another, as battled among them. I, untouched, stepped back in the darkness, my vast, dark cloak masking my appearance as I allowed the darkness to become my shield. I constantly sent the voices of innocent sound to do my bidding. It was like watching puppets dance against one another, in that the Airontoku military did not truly know who was mastermind behind all this, nor did they realize they were being controlled. I simply watched they destroy each other, as if I was a king ordering a match to the death.
Time passed, as the bodies were all on the ground, blood everywhere. I stepped out of the darkness as I walked towards the door to leave. One Airontoku warrior grabbed my ankle weakly as he spew mere words from his lips only to fall back to ground and descend from grace, “Damn you…” I laughed; my cold laughter rang through the air as I had the authority to do this. The rule was clear: do what it takes to come out victorious. I entered another room only to see a lone warrior before me as I frowned. This one was not going to be easily fooled as those other warriors of my clan. I drew my Ryuujin Jaka out as he did too; a sigh escaping my lips as my hood fell back—revealing the slate, crimson eyes of desire. The sound boomed once more through the air as it hit the warrior.
Melancholy presence rang high ‘pon the physique stature of my being; the Ryuujin Jaka shone to sanguine brilliance as the room was of an azure shade. The warrior and I stood apart, twenty meters, as sound hit his chest. It did not affect him, it seems; as he smiled, running towards me with such speed. So, it was a battle of speed eh? I disappeared as his blade whipped through the air—striking where I once was. I slammed down my blade on him from above, but his blade then twisted and in a wheel-like manner, blocked my attack. He jumped up as I spoke, disappearing once more. Leaving an after-image, did he strike that image, and as I appeared behind him—only to project a mere voice to get his attention—did I appear in front of him. His head turned what was behind him as the Ryuujin Jaka operated as my killing hand. The crimson sword ripped through his chest as the sound once more blared on his body. He screamed as he hit the ground—his eyes open, and his body, unmoving.
I looked towards the door to proceed onto the final test.
