Event: The Rite of Spring
Who: Snow Ninja only. No exceptions.
Where: Snow Village
When: October 3rd to October 10th. Grand Prize will be held on the tenth of October.
What:
Every year around the time of spring, the Village Hidden in the Snow shuts down and prepares itself for one of the oldest traditions. Celebrating the coming of spring, and new life through out the small country. This year, to try and counter act the depression, and sad times with in the country, the Kage has gathered the nobles and bounced around ideas to make the country forget about its troubles, if only for a short time. This year, the celebration is going to be bigger, and better then ever before. There is gonna be music, dancing, stories, food, and drinks. Lots of drinks. The villagers will gather and watch each other compete in sports, and laugh at the funnies comedians, lose themselves in the biggest dramas the village can offer. Another special addition that has been added to the celebration, gambling hut. The Kage is going to use some of the extra money that the village has come up with over the past couple months and fund the Gambling hut.
Some of the many events that will take place in the Gambling hut, are:
Black Jack
How it will work:
Myself or staff will take the bet, (100 ryo min) and take a roll. If you get a number between 1-25, you successfully get twenty one, or beat the house. 16-100, you bust, or come up short. The winnings will be what you placed, plus 200. The village, since this is a fund raiser event, will earn 50 ryo for every hundred you bet.
Wolf Races
How it will work.
Myself, or staff will take the bet(100 min) and take a roll. 10 wolves will be competing in the races. You will pick one through 10, and we will roll. If the dye lands on 1-10, wolf one will win. 11-20, wolf two. (and so on..) If you wish to pick two wolves, it will cost two hundred, plus another hundred(300), for three, three hundred, plus another hundred(400). You will not be aloud to pick more then three. The winnings on this one will be 500 for first, 350 for second, 250 for third. The village, since this is a fund raiser event, will earn 50 for ever hundred you bet. Certain wolves get certain bonus to the rolls. This could help, or hurt you. If you pick wolf one, you will get minus 20 off of whatever it is that you rolled. If you rolled for instance a 25, and picked W1, you would get 5, not 25. *note- if you roll a five, and get -20, you would not get -15. you would lose five, then start at a hundred. So you would end with 85. Same on the other way round. If you rolled hundred with wolf 10, you would not get 160, it would just be 60.
Slots
How it will work:
Myself or staff will take the bet(50, 100, or 200) and will take a roll. Since this is slots, the chances of winning are very very low. 10% to be exact. On the dice roll, you will be praying for 30-40(out of 100) to win. If you place fifty and you win, you will get 50*1.5(=75) as your winnings. 100 will be 100*2(=200) as your winnings, and for 200, you will get 200*5.5(=1100). The village, since this is a fund raiser event, will earn 25 ryo for every bet, or 25(or 50%, which ever is higher) of the winnings. Some slot machines just feel lucky, as such, the user should state which machine they want to use to get the bonus to their roll. Who knows, this might help your chances.
Grand Prize Drawing
How it will work:
You will enter the event and pay hundred credits to the old man who takes the missions and earn a ticket. At the end of the event(a week or two?) I will personally roll for the winner on this one. You can buy up to five tickets. Each ticket will be assigned a number, if I roll and get that number, you will win 20,000(yes 20,000) ryo, PLUS the village will personally pay for ANY main weapon you want. The only exception are animal companions. But puppets, and so forth are fair game. You will also earn a tactical vest, plus enough secondary weapons to fill it up. Again, the village will pay for these items. A second and third drawing will take place, and these will earn 5,000, and five secondary weapons. You can only win once. You much state, and underline in your post how many tickets you buy, to ensure I see it!!![/U] please do this so I don't skip over it.
Can we Cheat?!?!?!?!1oneoneleet?!![/U]
Why of course you can. If you can think of a clever enough way to break the bank, have at it. Are you a mathematical genius? Count the cards. Have a few steriods lying around? Slip it into your wolf and watch yourself “get lucky”. An amazing computer hacker? Hack those machines and watch the coins roll right on in! HOWEVER! Cheaters be warn. The Kage is wise to your act and will have ever Anbu on guard. But with so many people around, and so much to do, your chances of success depends on the activity. Black jack-30%(1-30) Wolf Races- 25%(1-25) Slots-20%(1-20). You can ask for a cheat roll. If you get it, the other bonuses seen above will become void and you automatically win. But be warn, if you cheat and win, your chances of cheating and winning the next time go down by half. If you are caught cheating, you will be thrown out of the casino tent. If you look hard enough, you might find a way back in...The only exception is the Grand Prize drawing. That is uncheatbale.
As this is a social event, you are more then free to just walk around and chat with each other. Go get a bite to eat with a few friends, and watch the concerts. With so much going on, it will be hard not to find something to do. While most of the village staff have the day off to enjoy the celebration, The Anbu, and the Kage herself will be walking around to ensure no fights break out, and prevent anyone from cheating. Even the Anbu in training will be on duty during the event. Any one caught fighting, will be thrown in jail for the remainder of the event, and depending on the offense, may be executed. SO NO FIGHTING. This is suppose to be a friendly event.
