Drooling over my pillow, I awoke to screams and cries coming from outside my window. Rubbing the sleep from my eyes, I sat up and wondered what the hell was going on. I looked outside, noticing that it was rather late in the morning, I must have slept in quite a while. I had been up all night practicing my bandage technique on a a pipe, so I was exhausted. Opening my window, I hopped out and onto the ground.
I landed next to a circle of adults centered around a screaming kid and and even louder mom, who was calling for help. Pushing my way through, I saw a little girl, probably no older than four or five, on the ground clutching a leg that was bleeding pretty bad. The mom was crying, screaming that her baby was going to die. I rolled my eyes and kneeled next to the woman, and asked what happened.
All I got was a scream and getting pushed away. Some guy put his hand on my shoulder and mentioned something about the girl falling and gashing her leg open on a rock. Sighing, I knelt down again, placing my hands on the sandy dirt below me. I tried to focus on making a bandage out of the material, but another duet of screams broke my concentration, causing the area I had my hands over, which was filed with chakra, to explode into a cloud of dust and dirt, covering me and resulting in more screaming from the two girls.
Cursing under my breath, I replaced my hands one more time. Taking a big breath in, then slowly letting it out, I relaxed and tried to block everything out. The world around me quieted, and I flushed the chakra out of my hands and into the ground. Piece by piece I searched for suitable material, cleansed it, and added it to the strip. Within a few minutes, I had a long strip of sand about two feet long, and roughly an inch wide. Walking over to the girl I pushed aside her screaming mother and wrapped it around her leg, firmly but not enough to cut off circulation. The blood almost instantaneously seemed to stop appearing. I heard a few gasps from the crowd. Internally I scratched my head. Never seen a ninja?
Hefting the girl up, I handed her to her mother, who was gawking at me like I was a damned deity. I told her she better get going to the hospital to get that cleaned, then for added affect, walked up the side of my house and climbed in my window....
