B+ Team [Open to Takeda and Miku]

The chuunin dashed from the tower when an important fact had passed him. Where was Toru and Miku. As he remembered, He last seen Toru outside of the village during there short search for Naga. Toru might have made it back to the village before him asas he shot ahead. And as for Miku, she must've come back to get her advancement to chuunin.

The two were both in the village as far as he knew. JIro took to the square between the Tower and gate hoping they'd cross this junction. Toru could be easily reached if he spotted him. But for Miku, Jiro had to recollect a mental image of her features. With a clear picture in mind, he watched the square from a low roof.

As of now, it was quite necessary to Toru to speak with Gekkido. That thing he did where he created a second form of himself still haunted his thoughts, and he had to know the secret. There was quite a number of things Toru wanted to do, and it would make his life infinitely easier if he had a more advanced clone. More importantly, he needed to speak with Gekkido in private to explain the situation and diffuse any lies or rumors the obnoxious foreigner might have concocted.

Jiro did have a point ending the search early, though. Neither of them had any kind of tracking ability, and with such a long pause they could literally be anywhere in the world. It would take either a massive stroke of luck or a capability they didn't possess to find their marks. That being said, Toru strolled reluctantly to report yet another failure on his part. No excuses, no apologetics, no bullshit; he fucked up, and he had to find a way to fix it himself. What was he feeling now? He tried to identify the emotion associated with these thoughts, and drew a blank.

On the way to the tower, Toru spotted Jiro's familiar form. Based on his posture and the frequency of his glances, Toru could infer that he was waiting for somebody. This was the first he had seen of his partner since they departed the gates, his taijutsu mastery granting him speed Toru could only dream about, so perhaps he was waiting for Toru before making his report. Still unsure, and unwilling to make a fool of himself if he was wrong, Toru continued to walk toward the tower. If Jiro was indeed searching for him, he would be easy to spot and Jiro would surely beckon him.

The taimaster watched from above the square. A familiar shape crossed the nonchalantly heading towards the tower. As if the society around him was just a bother. That was Toru. He set up his comm. device and spoke into the receiver end.

"Toru. This is Jiro. Gekkido has a mission set up for us and another chuunin. Actually you might remember her. Her name is Miku. She was in our exam and she also passed."

Jiro remembered the female as she cheered him before he left. but was surprised that she was there and passed. Jiro waited for Toru's reply.

Hearing Jiro's voice through the communicator was a pleasant vacation from what he was expecting. Instead of the unpleasant task of describing and justifying his failure, he got to go on a mission with two other chuunin, thus stalling the grim task and allowing him a little bit of redemption. He allowed the device around his neck to pick up his voice as he slipped out of sight and ascended to a nearby roof. "I'm in." His decision was made before hearing the mission. "When do we meet this Miku?"

Toru's memory was impeccable. If he had met her, he would have remembered. He vaguely recalled a female Mist ninja present at the exams, but he had never learned her name. But, she was apparently one of the many that passed the last exams. Then again, those exams didn't necessarily mean anybody passing deserved to be Chuunin, since Toru himself often wondered if he was really good enough for his title.

While the exams themselves might not have been enough to prove his worthiness of being chuunin, he was determined to earn it now.

Miku was not sure what she should be doing currently, so whenever she felt lost in the world, she liked to stroll through the town's square and just observe life pass her by. To her, it gave her time to recollect her thoughts and figure out a solid plan. It was easy to spot her out within the town's square, due to her light blue and white kimono that she wore, but that is not why she chose those colors on her outfit. Her long, black hair complimented the soft colors of her dress, which defined her personality rather well.

She loved the soothing appearance that embedded her dress into a delicate masterpiece. Smiling at the civilians that walked by her, she could not help but wonder where her two Exam partners were, and what happened to them. Sighing to herself, she figured that perhaps for a side mission she could investigate their disappearance, because now she is without a team and feeling lost within the world.

"Where is.. everyone?"

Toru was interested in the mission. he wondered when he would see this other chuunin. He continued his search scanning over the crowd for the petite female whom he would recognize if he saw her.

"Well.. I'm looking for her right now. Just as I found you. I figure she..." He spotted her and paused in his words. "There! I think thats her.. South-southwest of you. I'll be down in a second.

The brown haired tai master dropped down from the roof and headed straight for Miku.

South by southwest. . . That makes her approximately. . . the girl in the blue kimono. Toru recognized her now, and hopped down just behind Jiro to make her acquaintance. Friendliness wasn't usually his strong suit, but he hoped he could at least avoid putting her off so that the job could get done.

[ OOC: It's okay. Next post tell me about the mission, and exit in the same turn -- so we can just get started. I don't want to drag this out longer than it needs to be ;_; ]

"Ehh? Oh..why hello!" Though her memory sometimes played tricks on her, she remembered these two shinobi that were heading in her direction. Toru and Jiro! What's going on? It's been a while, huh?" She didn't keep in touch with anyone since the Chuunin Exams, so naturally she was curious as to how they have been. It was nice to see that the two of them were still together, however Miku had lost both of her exam partners to some unfortunate fate. "Have you seen Naga, or Yets (don't recall his IC name)? I hope they are okay..."

As Toru and Jiro approached Miku she recognized them with some delay. She had taken her time getting back to the village from the exam but that was unimportant. She greeted the two wondering how they had been.

"Since the exams the village was sieged by an unknown force but we made it through. And Naga had defected from the village and Yets may have left with him. There whereabouts are unknown." He paused for a second and continued with the rest of his message. "Anyway, we've been assigned on a diplomatic mission to Iwa. Toru and myself will be protecting you during our trip. Sandaime wanted to brief you both personally. Let's go."

Jiro would lead the trio back to the tower to be briefed by Gekkido

Hmm, diplomacy? In Stone? That sounds like it would go well. Still, the details had yet to be given, so he took off toward the tower to hear it from Gekkido.

Defected? It sadded her to here that her ex-comrades became a rogue ninja..after all they had been through. She didn't understand why, or how they could just do that without..talking to her first. Were they not all on the same team together? Had they not all risked their lives for each other? It was strange, but she knew that if she saw them..she would have to turn them in. The only question was whether or not she had the will to actually do it. However, a rather unusual request from the Mizukage perked the young shinobi's interest. A diplomatic mission..to Iwa? She had just gotten promoted to Chuunin, and he already has her working on high priority missions such as this one, it was almost frightening. Miku had never acted as an ambassador before, but since she was a Chuunin, she better know how to pretend pretty damn well if she is to live up to her title.
