Additional Comments[/color]: Firstly, I would like to say I would like to gain some experience as an Assistant on NFRP after having been here for 10 - 11 months. I've seen the workings of the site, I've browsed character creation, increasing my understanding of it, I've trained and seen other training myself. What strikes me most is that there really could be more Assistants. To the credit of the other Assistants, they are excellent and I have only praise for their works. This is a good sign, but to maintain this level of work, you need to take on new blood (or old blood, just get some blood damnit!) I propose I be allowed to join as an Assistant so I too may help the members of NFRP, providing helpful tid bits, marking training, approving character creations when others are not on.

My second and last point: I reside in Australia, which is a more unique timezone to some of the others here from America. I would be able to deal with issues that would otherwise have to wait till morning for those who reside elsewhere. This would certainly take a load off I'm sure at the start of the proverbial RP day for those moderators and assistants that spend all the time chasing up threads before they can get down to their own thing.

There was that little incident where you posted a pornographic link in the C-Box quite recently. That rule is among the basic of the basics, it's so basic even Kenjutsu says it's basic. Anyways, that clearly shows you don't have a good grasp of the rules at all, even if it's the C-Box it's still part of NFRP and your actions there will affect things like this.

I don't deny that I did that, nor do I deny responsibility. Yes I did the wrong thing and slipped up. Everyone does at some point, and if you deny that then you're just a biggot, plain and simple. But you need to ask yourself, if that all there is to it? If not, should you throw a man in jail for stealing the crust of a piece of bread?

It was an isolated incident, that I think, shouldn't reflect too poorly on me. Yes I realise it most likely will, but if you can look past 1 minute of an misunderstanding in 10 months of activity on the site, of good role play, of good behaviour and as a good role model , it think that counts for more myself.

OK - to those that don't know of the incident - about a week and ahalf ago Beltran was asking what 2girls1cup was. In a moment of idiocy i decided to be a good little helper and link it to him.

It would have actually gone unnoticed if Mukuro here wasn't all "OMG DID YOU GUISE SEE TAHT LINK FOR PRONZ BACK THERE". (At the time, Heero was having a heated discussion in the Cbox with another member and all attention was on him). In no way am I blaming Mukuro for this, I clearly f*&ked up, everyone does.

I actually resent you saying I don't have a good grasp of the rules at all that just shows a level of ignorance on your part. As i have said, yes I made a mistake, but you also need to evaluate the rest i.e. my time here on the site.

So Mukuro, i think that reflects badly on you.

you are still at fault, regardless. you should have been fully aware of the cbox rules to begin with because, as an assistant--or as staff in general--that would have honestly been the place you would monitor the most because everything occurs in real time.

you need to familiarize yourself with the common knowledge rules, considering that proboards only runs PG-13 forums and it shouldn't take any prior knowledge to know that scat videos aren't pg-13 material.

it takes only one mistake to fuck you over and make you look like a horrible person. this incident doesn't make you look like a vile human being, but it certainly does chip at your credibility. you'll need to rebuild that before you can honestly consider applying.

the only ignorance in this thread would be that of you applying [and obviously me for sticking my nose in matters that aren't mine]. it only takes them to call out one thing--as said before--to fuck you over. you should have obviously given it time. mukuro had every right to call you out, because it could have honestly saved the site trouble, seeing as how you didn't even know the basic of the basic.

Well on that note, when is it enough time. What's to stop him from being a dick and bringing it up again in one, month, two months or 6 months? (That is not to say what you are doing now is being a dick, I should have included that in my initial post, so thank you)

At any rate. This was obviously a mistake, but I would still like my application evaluated to see if all my other areas are good (which i believe they are) so i can just wait it out for a month or two.

Credibility does not come with passing time, if 6 months pass of doing nothing doesn't restore credibility, you have to gain it through actions. And what you did is no minor infraction, it will take a lot of work to push that under the rug.

Also, it doesn't help your case that you bait me, calling me a dick for bringing an important issue into light, as well as try shifting the blame for the incident onto me. You say you aren't, but it is quite clear, to me at least, that you are. This also brings your other point into question, you say one minute screwing up ten months of activity, but what does that have to do with being an assistant. I could have be active for four years but if I don't do anything, or very little, that has no merit towards becoming staff. And it can only take five minutes, less than that sometimes, to ruin a person's entire life, don't underestimate what can happen in a short period of time.

People have been thrown in jail, even executed, for far less than stealing some bread.

You are NOT going to become staff. You can ask any other person through PMs if you want to evaluate whatever you want. Fact is you will NOT become staff. Let me just say, I am not arguing the point with you Heero, I understand that as the owner of this site you have the final say. I am not contesting anything you have said, infact, I am agreeing with you. All I did was ask that it be kept open to see what I am doing right, as an active roleplayer on the site.

Again - I am not arguing with you, I'm trying to have a discussion and as I have said, I respect your wishes. But you are adamant I will NEVER become a member of staff on this role play site, no matter what I do? If that is the case, fine, all I'm doing is asking for clarification.
