[OOC: I can't gauge the distance between us at this point accurately, so let's just be realistic about it. If you feel the need to contact the BM, go ahead.]
So it seemed that the mute-nin had continued to breath, having predicted the grayed ones movement successfully and then ducking to evade the fatal crush-- it wasn't going to be enough, though. The gray chuunin smirked as the child vanished but, just as he had, Yoshinori would mimic his lightning-fast movement with one of his own, reappearing four feet beside the boy with a lithe frame. Without a moments hesitation would he silently, but hastily, draw his weapon with his strong paw and in one fluid motion would he attempt to strike the boy diagonally (downward) across the chest-- more than a foot of the blade would be left remaining as it sought to cut the boy in twain.
!!!
Whether the blade connected or not had not mattered for he would swiftly re-sheath the steel masterpiece as soon as he finished his attack. His attention would then turn to his first opponent who had, at this point, appeared a ways off in his peripherals. His left arm, which hung limp besides his hip at this point, would ascend and be pulled back quickly, then, in another swift breath would he release a flaming saucer which spun wildly in the direction of the troublesome shinobi. The disks had borrowed from the flames which capered in the heart of Yoshinori, as well as the energy brought into his being by his powerful, yet refined, breaths and now sought to embed itself in the clothed thorax of his foe. The azure disk would, if it stuck, cut the boy for a moment but then, without warning, expand in a liquid fire-bomb in order to engulf the youth entirely, charring his body until it felt coarse at touch.
With a most-fatal distraction set, Yoshinori took a mere moment for himself, concentrating might throughout all his body as he dug into reservoirs of speed that he'd borrow from in hopes of ending the battle before more shinobi appeared from the woodwork. Then, in one movement, a vein bulged from his bare forehead, the sanguine liquid in his body pumping wildly; he felt renewed-- a second breath reinstalled vigor into his aging body.

When the user learns the "C" rank technique they are able to launch disks at a width of one meter at a distance of eight meters. irst Gate— Mûlâdhâra [Open/Initial]
Rank: "B" Rank [60]
Skill: Taijutsu, Supplementary
Effect: The body can only go 20% of it's limits naturally, with all the gates on. With each gate, however, the body can go an extra 10% for each gate broken. The Initial Gate enables the user to push forth to 30%. When a user takes the time to break this gate, they become capable of moving .5 times faster than normal. This means that a user who is capable of performing 4 movements would be capable of performing an amount of 6 movements in total. (4 base movements + 2 movements for the ×.5)
Special: The user must concentrate within their inner body for one brief moment in order to bring forth the gate.
Drawback: Simply put, the Hachimontonkou work on a 100% scale. Unlocking the Initial Gate expends 10% of the aforementioned one hundred each round it remains open. What this means is that if you were to perform under the Initial Gate's influence for two rounds, you would have used 20% out of the allotted one hundred. BUT, the moment a user goes over this 100%, their entire musculature will begin tearing apart, resulting in short stints of temporary paralysis accompanied by shocking pains. Repairing this damage requires medical attention with a success rate of 90%.
Description: Located in the region between the genitals and the anus, the Inital Gate is the first of the Hachimontonkou. It's not rare for a shinobi who uses a good deal of taijutsu to know how to unlock this gate. This gate is usually broken in order to perform a needed devastating attack or for a temporary boost to get out of a sticky situation. However, keeping this gate unlocked for an extended period of time can put a lot of strain on the user's muscles.
