Hello, student. Welcome to Kaizu's RP Classes.
First of all, welcome. Know that if you post in my board, I will do my best to help you in whatever aspect of RPing you wish, be it Battling, Training, Interacting with your fellow members, or simply writing in general! But first, allow me to give you a few tips, which led me to become the RPer I am today.
General RP
#1. You know all those people who use fancy words that require you to pull a dictionary out of your pocket for? Here's a really good tip for accumulating a healthy arsenal of synonyms and terms that will have your RP looking better in a flash.
Create a document on, say, Microsoft Word. Now, whenever you come upon a particularly extravagant new word, write it down in your Word Document with it's definition, perhaps placing words under categories for quick and easy access. Now, when you RP and are out of words, try using your fancy little dictionary to pull some brilliant words out of the hat. Voila, you'll be writing better almost straight away!
#2. A nice site is Thesaurus.com. This place is jam-packed with easy to access words that fit all your RPing needs. They also have a handy little feature called Word Of The Day. Every 24 Hours they will place a new wonderful and wacky word that you should use. They come in handy. (This can be used in conjunction with tip #1)
#3. Ever find you're writing a RP post, but run out of muse and give up? A good solution: Music! Depending on the theme of your post, say a battle, training, meditation, whatever, music is always a good bolster for your muse. Just try to pick a song to listen to that fits in with your post, or you may end up writing something really out of place.
That's all for now, but I'll be sure to write down more tips as soon as time will allow. But I'm almost out of chalk. I shall write down the Class Session Template.
Name: Your name goes here.
Type of Class: This can be anything. Battling, muse, RPing, interacting, description, training, whichever.
Referral Links: So, if you don't wish to RP out a whole new post straight away, I could give you a few pointers just from reading your threads.
Additional Comments: Any further things you'd like me to know? Perhaps English isn't your first language? Maybe you've taken a break and need me to remind you more than teach you? Just a place where you can tell me a little bit about yourself and your RPing abilities.
If you wish to commence right away, simply make a new thread with the template as your post.
Hajimashoo!
