The Mist Village. A village renown for its abundance of ninja, a village where Katsuchiyo, a Samurai, felt unwelcome and out of place. The ninja here were dishonorable, the whole damned village was dishonorable and yet it was the final resting place of some of his dearest comrades. Ren. Takeuchi. This is where they were buried, in this god awful environment. It was disgraceful to know just how far the Tachibana had fallen. Once Katsuchiyo was a revered General of one of the most powerful armies within the whole of the Land of Water, now he was just a simple Ronin, a wanderer. His honor was tarnished.
He still had his life though and he was content with re-establishing the once great Tachibana, it was his legacy after all. What more was that he also had some clothes on his back, more accurately a beige robe tied with a blue flower imprinted ribbon, shoes on his feet, once again more accurately sandals, and his sword sheathed at his side. He had all the tools he needed to recreate his precious Clan. Katsuchiyo made his way through the outskirts of the village and entered the graveyard where his companions, fellow Samurai, were buried and headed to their tomb stones.
This would be the last time he would see them with a defeat under his belt, the next time he seen them he would have recreated the Tachibana in their honor, not his, for it was for them that he wanted the Clans reestablishment, to prove that their lives were not lost for nothing. He prayed at their graves for a few minutes, giving them some parting words and informing them of his intent before leaving, heading toward a shrine by the graveyards edge so he could light a candle in reverence of his fallen friends. On his way however he would meet some hindrance in his path as he would try and do so as three figures would be leaving the very shrine he was trying to reach just as he was approaching, heading in his same way.
Two of the figures would be female whilst the third would be male and each of them would be carrying a sword. The on walking at the head of the group, presumably the leader, had long black hair that was tied up in a bun at the top of her head and green eyes. She was wearing a very long, very dark black robe which had colourful imprints on its design though they seemed to just be random splatters as Katsuchiyo couldn't figure out any particular image, tied with a ribbon which seemed to also have no particular image upon it and carried her sword at her side, the blade seeming to be a Katana. The second female, walking at the leaders right side, was wearing very different attire which was much more revealing as there were just simple white bandages wrapped around her chest to act as a shirt as tattered cloth hung at her waist as her pants consisted of a crimson coloured battle dress. Her hair was dark like the other woman's however it was a dark shade of brown rather then black and her eyes were blue while her choice of sword seemed to be the same as Katsuchiyo's, a Nodatchi.
The boy of the group seemed to be the youngest of the group and walked at the presumed leaders left. His hair was also black but very short and his eyes were dark. His attire consisted of a light blue robe top and a pitch black battle dress, his shoes a pair of black sandals which seemed to be what all the members of the trio were wearing, and his sword choice was like the center woman's, a Katana. The group would descend a flight of stairs and continue to walk towards Kastuchiyo, who would also continue to walk, until they'd notice the strangers presence and pause, to which Katsuchiyo would also pause as his left hand would move to the hilt of his sword.
The group eye Katsuchiyo for a moment before the leader of the opposing faction would speak. "I haven't seen you around before stranger. What's your business here?" the black clad woman would ask her hand also drifting to the hilt of her sward, a motion mimicked by the other two members of her party. Katsuchiyo didn't like the treatment he was getting here though he would hold his tongue. For the most part. "My business here, apart from being my own, is to pay respects to my fallen comrades. Why else would one enter a graveyard?" he'd reply cheekily, offending at least one member of the opposing group. "Watch your tongue!" the bandages woman would shout, allocating attention to herself. "You are speaking to none other than Usaka Tsunahara of Tsunahara Kenjutsu, a master of the sword, feared throughout the Land of water as the Shōshitsu-fū - The Vanishing Wind!"
Other than being a little curious as to what exactly gave her that nickname, Katsuchiyo had never heard of such a warrior before so he assumed she was but a small potato trying to talk themselves up and said as much. "I've never heard of such a warrior, are you rather new to the world of war young Miss?" the veteran Katsuchiyo asked, half trying to insult the big game talkers, half wanting to flirt a little though he had no intentions of following through with anything beyond harmless flirting. The woman speaking on behalf of the Vanishing Wind blew her lid, enraged that the man before her insulted her idol.
As she was about to shout her head off once again she was cut off by the woman in black who rose a hand and prevented further conversation. "No, I assure you that the world of battling is not new to me and I also assure you that I am not that young despite my appearance but thank you for your compliment, I rather enjoy being praised" the woman would say. To Katsuchiyo however this meant nothing, just that the woman in front of him was old and just looked young and he was growing impatient. "Well then everyone is happy, I'll just be on my way then" the man stated, trying to get away though it wouldn't work. "You can't leave, you haven't even told me your name yet" the woman in black testified.
Katsuchiyo's slightly playful nature was stirred by this. "It's common courtesy to give ones own name before asking another" he jested in response, trying to get a reaction from Usaka. The woman was not impressed however responded curtly. "Of course. I am Usaka Tsunahara, to my right is my daughter Tikiha Tsunahara, and to my left is my student Keisuke Minamoto of the Minamoto Samurai Clan" she introduced as the final name cause of a surge of anger to surge through Katsuchiyo's veins. "And you are?" the woman enquired in an arrogant tone.
Katsuchiyo actually let it slide and instead introduced himself like requested. "I am 'Kensei Kurogane - the Iron Sword Saint', Katsuchiyo... Tachibana!"[/i] the ex-Samurai General barked as he drew his sword, Keisuke following along, unsheathing his sword and bolting to a position in from of Usaka. A chance for some minor revenge had presented itself and Katsuchiyo was set on taking it. "The infamous Iron Sword Saint, I thought your name was Genichi though you Samurai change your names so often. I suppose I can't stop you two from fighting then?" the woman asked as neither Keisuke nor Katsuchiyo budged. "Need I remind you that this is a Graveyard? A cemetery?" Still no movement. "Sigh, oh well then. Do as you please though I'm not responsible for the consequences in the after life" she sighed as the men took to battle.[/font]
