Suiton: Bakurai no Jutsu (Water Release: Depth Charge Technique)
Rank: "D", "C"
Skill: Ninjutsu, Offensive
Effect: Allows the user to place a small amount of bubbles underneath the water that, when stepped directly above, will detonate with powerful force.
Special: "Hand Seals"
Drawback: Only capable of being tricky if the technique is used underwater. Must have a water source to perform.
Description: This technique is meant to be used while the user and the opponent are fighting over a large surface of water. By performing the correct handseals, the user is capable of creating a bubble of water about a foot in length that is very difficult to notice under the water. Place right below the surface of the water, the technique, when the opponent steps over it, the bubble will detonate with the force of a singular exploding tag, meant to knock the opponent backwards or, if the opponent is already injured, potentially hurt them some more. With the "D" rank of this technique, the user can place one depth charge at a time, with a maximum of five depth charges. With the "C" rank of this technique, the user may place three depth charges at a time, with a maximum of fifteen depth charges.
Limit: Must have the Water Release. Must be a member of the Hoshigaki Clan.

A set if bored amber eyes stared at the brown wall in front of him. Tsuyu gave himself three days of leisure since he last trained. Its only been two. He didn’t exactly need to rest he thought he should just have it. But he had nothing to do. He’s done all his house chores and there wasn’t much else to do. He might as well continue to train with the clan jutsus. Tsuyu walked out of his home and walked to his training area. He arrived to his spot after fifteen minutes of walking.
It was but a small pond he decided it was too small for what he wanted. He knew of a lake that was bigger. He walked towards the area. This city had large volumes of water everywhere anyways. Arriving at a small lake twenty minutes later he was ready to get started. Looking around the ground he saw some pebbles. Grabbing the pebbles as well he placed everything in his pockets. He took his shirt off revealing his mid section and his boots off. He didn’t really need them getting wet during training.
Tsuyu stepped on the water body and walked across the water surface. The bottom of his feet glowing with chakra as he stood on the lake surface. He felt like he was at a good spot on the lake. The shark boy began to form a sequence of hand seals. He concentrated in his chakra exiting his body to enter the body of water. Channeling his chakra into a spot fifteen feet ahead of him and a few feet below the surface. He needed to make his chakra dense.
The purpose of the jutsu was to create bubbles that would detonate when stood on. Tsuyu searched around in the water for an air bubble. Feeling an air bubble Tsuyu poured his chakra into it. He slowly began to compress the chakra into the bubble believing that the detonation was merely highly compressed chakra into a bubble. Tsuyu was trying not to lose focus trying not to pop the bubble. Packing a portion of his chakra into a tiny space sounds easier than it really was.
Unsure if this was the right amount he stopped concentrating so he could test it. Once he cut his link to the bubble it detonated and water splashed out with a strong force.Wait. Its not supposed to detonate until stepped on. he though surprised by the quick failure. The boy once more poured his chakra into the water forcing its way into an air pocket. Concentrating on his chakra to enter the bubble and staying still. Tsuyu looked down and saw that the bubble had expanded into the size of a kick ball. That wouldn’t do any good at all. He threw a pebble on the spot above the bubble.
Water drops spouted as it looked like a small geyser of air escaped from the lake. Tsuyu watched with a look of disappoint. It looked like the lake was farting and mocking him. Tsuyu formed the hand seals once again streaming his chakra into the lakes water. Pressing his chakra into a bubble. This time however he was maintaining the size and shape of the bubble. It needed to be small while he compressed his chakra in. Checking to make sure the bubble was stable so it wouldn’t explode once he cut his link from it. Tsuyu stopped compressing chakra in the bubble.
He threw another pebble at the spot. It actually detonated this time. A small water explosion erupting. But it seemed too small however. Tsuyu reflected on the last bubble. The only thing he could think of was the he put in to little chakra. The hoshigaki once more formed handseals and his chakra leaking into the lake. Once more condensing his chakra into a bubble making sure it retains its shape and form. He threw another pebble at the spot. An explosion of water occurred once the stone touched the waters surface. He wasn’t sure but it would seem perhaps he had gotten it right this time. Even he wasn’t sure if this was the correct power.
