- Training for Shippai You wake up with your back arched up against a tree out in a small forest. You notice that there is a stream running right next to you and your puppet is lying face down in some dirt about three feet in front of you. You have no idea how you ended up in the forest, what you did the night before, and where you are. A man resting in the tree that you have woke up in, is watching you as you open your eyes. He eyeballs your every move as he relaxes on an arched tree branch. With his arms hanging down, he begins to talk to you. ~Confused aren't you? The man would fix himself into an upright sitting position while looking down at the confused boy. He would clear his voice as he pushed off of the tree and landed just about two meters in front of Shippai. Turning around he would show his dark hair swooping down over his face. A smile would emerge on his face as he looked down to the puppet lying on the ground. ~Hmph, I've seen what you can do with this puppet. I want you to show me something you haven't done yet. You have no idea how this man knows you, or how he's been watching you. Though you can feel the presence in his chakra is much greater than yours. You know that if you don't do what he says for you to do, he might do something that could hurt you, a lot. He talks with a grunt and squints his eye quite a bit. Looking down to the puppet once more then back at Shippai, he would kick the head of the lifeless toy and speak again. ~Well? Let's see it.

The man seemed to be serious in what he said towards him, immediately Shippai began to concentrate on fusing his mental will and his physical life force. The hidden omnyoton within all, he melded the chakra allowing a surge of it to flow through his tenketsu. His fingers began to feel a sensation of life and control as they began to glow and intangible glow of chakra, strings were produced merely half a inch thicker then normal.

The strings that came about were out of fear a miscalculation in the amount of chakra needed. As the strings floated in the air Shippai stood up, his standing allowed more room for his strings to surge outward and to life. This was new to him using the strings for anything more then soru. He decided to show the man something new which he himself wasn't perfectly sure of at the moment.

The threads were a bit larger then normal, the length was just about the same as when he operates his lovely puppet soru. The sensation of having total control was thrilling, he began to move his arms waving them in a rhythm allowing the motion to control the strings. Within a few moments his threads were wrapped around a pebble. It seems the man was interested in this technique enough to test it. Shippai lost his focus and allowed the pebble to drop into the stream which was running along, it seems he needed more practice towards this technique.

Training Part II ( String Entrapment )

This technique was just like his regular chakra threads but needed to be controlled more efficiently, he began to concentrate once again melding his mental and physical being allowing the molding of his chakra. He began to relax into the technique thinning the strings allowing himself to calculate the same amount as when he uses Soru. Now that he had the right amount the chakra at which had settled around his hands had disappeared allowing the threads to remain. Shippai began again starting the familiar rhythm ending it with capturing a twig and throwing it into the stream. Maintaining the technique was easier since his body had finally allowed the flow toward the strings to naturally occur.

The adaptation was fast and only a minor change for he had control over the strings originally to control his beloved puppet. A smirk appeared on his face as the chakra consumption slowed to a normal pattern as if the world was his puppet now. His movements were faster finally realizing if he controlled it like his puppet he was fine. He began to allow his fingers to reflexively move as he began targeting the water. His strings plunged into the water silently searching the stream with each movement of his fingers. As he pulled back in a jerking motion he had pulled forth a fish yet it slipped from the grasp of the threads since he hadn't tightened them.

A smile appeared again on the boys face, he had figured out the mechanics of the jutsu and was willing to adjust it a bit more. But his mastery over it was just about shown before the mysterious man who had asked of this.

Training Part III ( string entrapment )

Shippai needed to continue and master this technique completely. He first began to concentrate his mental and physical being, the energies of his life and imagination merging to not only produce the chakra but allow the jutsu to be implemented. The appearance of invisible layers of chakra surrounding the palms was the first step. The jutsu had a tingling sensation at the points of each digit he had. The chakra was then subjugated towards the finger tips allowing the tips to be engulfed with invisible chakra.

Thin threads of chakra were rapidly produced from the finger tips. Had someone with a doujutsu had seen the quick execution of chakra it would look the same as a spider creating a web. His chakra was a conduit for this jutsu, he had to constantly input chakra to maintain it. It wasn't as consuming as much more devastating jutsu in its class allowing more flexibility towards control. He began by trying to test his grappling skills with the threads upon a nearby tree.

He began to move his fingers each one sending a bit of chakra conveying with his synapses telling the life force to move accordingly. The strings wrapped around the tree easily yet it didn't seem strong enough and dissipated after more force was exerted to pull upon it. Shippai began to thin realizing his miscalculation. Once again he relaxed and concentrated his yin and yang like qualities to form and mold it chakra towards the jutsu.

His tenketsu along his fingers were filled to the brim with chakra being focused in that localized area. The amount of chakra needed was degrading from a large some to about the same he uses with his puppet soru. Once again his fingers move carrying the will of the user forcing the life force to grab the tree once more. Shippai carefully tugged on the strings, the tree didn't bulge but neither did the strings. It was a successful experiment his strings were sturdier then originally.

Another smile allowed its way onto his lips even more demented then the last. But it was subdued by the situation he was already in. His fingers released once more allowing the chakra to disappear. he needed to test his abilties to the jutsu once more, this time shippai walked over towards the water, allowing his feet to sink in. His chakra was concentrated towards his hands once again. The strings immediately grappled towards the water.

The threads secured a fish smoothly without a problem. The strength was checked as well as the speed at which to capture. All that was left was to trip or throw something with this technique. His hands moved motivated towards the rythmn within his approch the strings found there way towards a rock. The rock was easily captured for its small dimensions. Holding it balanced within the air was easy the rock had the appearance to be floating by itself to the naked eye. With one quick twitch shippai forced his chakra to release it mid throw accelerating it towards a branch. Mastery was all but completely. Yet he still felt more was needeed in order to have total control over it.

Training Part IV( string entrapment )

Shippai had thought he had completely mastered his new techniques yet he realized he hadn't even begun to do the tech right. He released the chakra stopping its current channel out of his finger tips. The basics of how he learned his chakra strings were needed for this particular jutsu, as he begun again he pointed one finger forward almost in a straight line. The chakra inside he body flowed regularly no imbalances were found once he began. He first used his physical abilities to control his life source, then used his mental abilities to distribute it evenly while melding it towards his forearm then fingers.

His tenketsu points regulated the flow evenly no surge or obstruction in the way as the chakra streamed towards its goal. As it finally made its way to his finger he calculated and tried the jutsu, yet nothing happened except for the chakra being spent for nothing. He looked at his finger confused at the fact the jutsu had not worked, he was sure he had mastered the technique.

The confusion rose as he tried once again to no avail, as he looked around he realized that he wasn't able to use one string since he couldn't even use one string for Soru. As he outstretched all of his fingers once again he flexed them as if he was controlling Soru. He controlled his breathing the jutsu gave the feeling of utter and complete dominance. As he began for his training he tried once again with every finger he could use.

His physical will controlled the chakra while the mental will melded it, Shippais hands felt a tingle as the threads began to form. His life force was invisible for any to see who hadn't had a doujutsu. Each string had taken a large amount of his chakra to form and maintain seeing as he hasn't mastered the form of making chakra strings. He began to sweat as he found a balance to flow his small chakra and divide it evenly towards each string.

It seemed the man had wanted to test Shippai further he threw kunais at his feet at and attempt to disrupt his focus. As they spread around it was realized he wanted to see what this jutsu could really do. Shippai forced his life force to move a circular pulling motion was used to loop his threads through each individual kunai. Once the kunai were hooked into by the threads he began to reel his hands backwards slowly in and attempt to lift them with great caution. The embedded kunai one by one rose into the air, each one floating before shippai in a straight pattern. The row of kunai floated before shippai as he had to regulate the amount of chakra he was sending forth, his body felt a small strain having to regulate and control so much of his chakra at once.

The kunais faltered a bit before the strain became to much, the kunais fell back to the ground in a pile around the boys legs. A small smirk appeared again on his face as the strings all but disappeared. He began to think about this training and how hard it was to maintain. Yet at the same time he thought about how easy it was becoming in the end his thoughts were simple and spoken aloud.

Hmm, I guess I'm starting to finally get it but I guess I'll practice it allot more later on.

Shippai looked towards the man as he clapped at the boys progress with the new jutsu. He silently rose from his position and reappeared in a tree above shippai. He motioned for the boy to use to grab the large steel blade he threw towards the ground. This weapon was different it looked like a a ghuillotine with the head shaped circle on the blade. Shippai knew the man wanted him to pick the weapon up and test the power of the strings. He prepared for his final test by beginning to breath calmer. His body had used up allot of chakra and was worse for wear by straining himself.

He began to focus his mental will and physical will directing and diverting the chakra towards his finger tips. As the threads began to wrap around the sword beads of sweat escaped from the boys head, such a large object would not be easily lifted or pulled. He strained and strained with all his might depleting his chakra faster then he could recycle by doing so. As he pulled for the last time the sword was pulled over nearly cleaving him in half narrowly the handle touched his nose.

A great smile had appeared from the boy he at last had finally mastered this elusive jutsu. He heard sounds of clapping coming from above the man seemed to be happy as well changing his otherwise frightening demeanor. Shippais threads disappeared as he fell over onto the ground exhausted. If this was how training was always gonna be he'd rather never train again.

Said the man who had reappeared in the tree once more. After clapping his cold hands together, he would continue to gather himself in a nice position. Looking down at Shippai, he would begin to laugh at the exhaustion in just this one technique. He could tell the anguish was present in his eyes.

Suddenly the obscure man would cock his head and ask a simple question to Shippai, to see if he had some fight still left in him.

~If you were in a fight, would you give up this early?

He was arrogant, but he knew that he wasn't trying to keep the spirits of young shippai down. He was trying to motivate him to try something new. The stream would begin to flow faster, and he wondered if this kid had any kind of release he could possibly manipulate. He grinned as he thought to himself that this kid may have some potential.

Description: A simple jutsu utilizing the water release. User performs the hand seals Snake, Dragon then transfers charka to their throat, creating a steady stream of pressured water from their mouths, that then hits the opponent for D rank damage. The jet stream has a maximum range of 10 meters and travels in a straight line. Speed is equivalent to throwing a kunai.
Limit: Water Release.

It seemed something more was required as the man once again asked him to show him what he could do. Shippai thought long and hard before remembering a suiton jutsu which was buried within Gin - Sama's scrolls. Shippai began by molding his chakra realizing and using his mental will and physical will to surge the chakra to a specific point. In the scrolls it said to do hand seals yet Shippai forgot the seals that were required, he half heartily used the Dog Seal then Tiger Seal before sending the chakra to his mouth. The motion of such caused him to take in a deep breath before breathing out and coughing.

He had transfused the chakra to the wrong placed causing the jutsu to be cancelled out. Also the wrong handseals were used in the production of the technique. He thought to himself trying to remember the hand seals for the jutsu.

" Damn....what.....what was the combination? was it Dog...no wait it was Dragon and wait Dragon and Dog! " He calmly thought within his mind.

As he tried again his body felt different as he tried again, he once again molded his chakra with his physical and mental wills. This time he had concentrated the chakra towards his lungs before preforming the Dog, then Dragon Seals. Water began to fill his lungs yet since he used the wrong sign he began to cough up and spew water from his mouth. His body was drowning for a while until he broke the seal and stopped forming chakra to his lungs. This latest failure had caught him off guard. He looked at his hands trying to figure what he was doing wrong.

His yellow optics focused on the little puddle that he had just vomited. The wrong seal had disrupted the flow of chakra causing the water that was created to not function within the jutsu. It expanded and began to fill his lungs rapidly. This failure had weakened his body and resolve towards completing the jutsu. He was disappointed in such a failure his hair hung over his face in shame.

As he focused on the puddle as it seemed to divert towards the stream he saw what seemed to be a hawk flying past. The hawk scooped downward violently and grabbed a snake lying on a branch in the river. Shippai remembered from the scrolls the seal was snake for the jutsu. New confidence had taken hold of the boy as he stood up facing the stream. He preformed the hand seals snake and dragon slowly in his weakened state, after preforming the seals he focused the jutsu towards his lungs causing water to build with in them.

The water he had created began to force its way out of his mouth in a tiny little bit as if spitting a tiny little stream. The failure this time wasn't as big and helped to reassure the boy he was in the right direction. The water had launched about 2 meters from his mouth in a tiny stream.

" Good.....now I can do this no problem. "

As he regained his composure he once again stood upwards, he began to focus his mental and physical will towards his lungs. They began to fill with chakra within, the chakra acted like a sort of dimensional gate of sorts allowing the water to suddenly appear inside of the lungs. Yet it also acted as a protective coating so the user wouldn't drown. As he built the chakra up he began with the hand seals in rapid succession first snake then dragon. As he pulled back he then pushed his body forward expelling the liquid suiton in a straight line.

The water gushed outwards fast right into a nearby tree hitting it as if it water was a kunai. No visible marks were shown on the tree yet a smile could be saw on the boys face this jutsu was all but completed.[/size]

The man would shunshin behind Shiroi's back and towered over him. Watching him from behind, in front, to the sides. He figured that this one would surely be just fine for some fun.

~So you can get some water flowing...

He would begin to say but looking at this boy's capabilities, he wasn't too sure if he's deadly.

~But let's see you try to kill me.

He would form a grin, and knew for a fact that this boy would most likely come up short with his technique. He wanted this boy to learn and become great. Though he needed a confusing and strict teacher. For the most part, he wasn't sure about sticking around. He had way more things to take care of. Nevertheless, he still figured that since this kid was now a part of the village, he might as well show him a thing or two.

Fuuton Kaze no Senbon (Needles of the Wind)

Effect: User hurls a mixture of senbon needles in the form of wind to cut into the opponent.

Description: The ninja gathers air with his hands and mixes it with chakra, by doing this he transforms them into sharp and deadly needles. The needles are almost invisible so it is hard for the enemies to see them. This technique may be blocked by large objects, however something small such as a sword, or a staff will allow the needles to separate still moving towards the object it was originally sent to. Not a powerful technique as the user is capable of hurling up to ten senbon wind needles that gives out minor cuts. However this could be used as a more of a set up technique to allow the user to perform a more dangerous technique.
Limit: Must have the Wind Release

The man seemed to vanish and then appear again before shippais own eyes. The man presence and tone of voice was hinted towards wanting a fight. Shippai thought of the techniques he had just learned and none were deadly enough, he remembered some more scrolls from Gin - Sama and began to recite the jutsu. Shippai first began to allow his physical chi and his mental chi to mold the chakra within him. As fast as before and began to grasp at the air around him, the air did nothing as he waved his arms and flailed them about.

Shippai tried once again reciting the same hand seals in rapid succession, he focused the chakra within his hands trying to literally grab the air. This resulted in another failure as nothing happened once again. His thoughts raced as he wanted to know why his jutsu wasn't working. He looked around wanting to learn the answer immediately.

" So I can't actually grab the air then what am I suppose to do with the air? "

His mind wondered until he realized what he was once told about Fuuton. He learned allot about jutsu from his Gin - Sama.

" Fuuton are like life the balance within this world, It is also a blade a furiously powerful slicing torrent. In order to master it you must realize that the blade will not yield to you by force you must help it before you can use it, sharpen your inner blade and the outer blade will be yours. "

Shippai realized his technique was all wrong, he took a stronger stance his legs split apart yet still equal in length way from the other. He began to focus forming the hand seals slowly and one by one. After finishing and his mental and physical his were aligned for molding he waved his arms in a semi- circular pattern. The chakra within his arms literally were being used to soothe the wind. The chakra within his arms were seemingly gliding off of his arms capturing and concealing a very small portion of wind within his palms. In one motion he began to form a ball with his hands reflexively pushing his hands together.

He mentally thought that he was sharpening a blade from both sides continuously within his mind as he preformed the jutsu. As the air was gathered within his palm and encased the small form of wind was compressed with chakra. Shippai pushed his chakra into the captured wind changing the shape and size just as he was about to completely change the the jutsu failed and the wind disappeared. He had tried to rush the sharpening of his mental blade and force the jutsu out faster. It resulted in the chakra to allow the Jutsu to float away in a gust of wind.

He had lost his focus at the last moment, He looked around angered and upset at the loss of his momentum. His snow white strands covered his face as he lightly combed them out of the way this time to truly focus on the jutsu. He looked at his hands before creating a circular pattern within them, as his chakra began to capture the win he focused harder trying not to rush the sharpening but to ease it along in unison. As his arms settled once again against one another the captured win was once again changed, first he pushed the chakra in his hands allowing the tenketsu within the fingers to directly force the wind to be compressed and shaped into five deadly needles.

After the Needles were formed Shippai quickly threw the needles in a linear pattern towards the man in and attempt to impress him. He grappled the air compressed needles easily since he was use to handling chakra strings and theses were larger by about a few cms.This jutsu was completed now that the motion of creating the needles were learned the number could easily be quadrupled in no time.

Raiton: Sakurai (Lightning Style: Cherry Blossom Lightning)

Effect: The user creates a mass of blue-white lightning petals.
Special: "Hand Seals"
Drawback: Not a complete technique, but a set-up for others.
Description: The user forms the hand seals, focusing chakra around them. They then mold the chakra into several hundred blue-white sakura petals of lightning in a three-meter radius around the user, like the Sand of a Saton user. These petals float gently around the user's body. Each one gives out minor shocking, but together they can give strong shocks and burns akin to a C rank shock. The petals last until the user chooses to dispel them. The user can control these techniques in a fifteen meter radius around them.
Limit: Must have Raiton.

Shippai ignored the man, using the time he had to walk towards the stream. Training had left and impression upon him and he wished to learn more from the scrolls of old. He quickly looked around in the area the trees were at least six meters away from his position. The log in the middle of the stream would be perfect for the jutsu he wished to learn. A series of steps and a light jump into the stream allowed him to reach its center were the log resided. As he landed squarely on the log he gained his balance something he would surely need when trying to concentrate.

He closed his eyes slowly before placing his hands at his sides. The stream flowed and the sound of water had filled his ears as he raised his hands again. His yellow optics shot open as he began in succession the flurry of handseals needed for the jutsu. His body began to tingle as he concentrated all the chakra he could into the area around his body. The air began to become a bit more dense as his spiritual life force created a pressure around him.

The pressure alerted him to begin the process, his mind wondered to cherry trees as he began to mold his Spiritual force with his Mental force melding with the chakra around him. The chakra was exerted from the tenketsu all around his body first creating the lightning from his mental synapses. After which the shape manipulation had allowed the lightning to finally take form.

The Life force began to bring into existence flashes of light all around his body. He continued to concentrate melding and molding the new entities in a slow manner of five every few seconds. His hands were locked in the final hand seal as he tried to concentrate harder. His mind felt as if he was growing a tree softly allowing his chakra to nourish and maintain it. Once again he closed his yellow optics in and attempt to see the cheery tree he was creating.

His chakra and control over chakra creation had put stress on him. Just maintain the creation process had taken a toll on his already tired frame. He continued to create more and more while he held the hand seal to complete more chakra petals. Shocks and small pops could be heard around his body also crackles of electricity. More chakra petals blossomed and appeared around his body.

When the seconds had finally turned to minutes he had opened his eyes to a torrent of cherry blossoms around his body. The sight was a spectacle as they danced lightly around his body. The sparks flickered in and out of each petal showing a brilliance and radiance unknown to the young child. As he moved the blossoms disappeared his focus stopped by there mere beauty.


He wanted to once again try the beautiful jutsu. Having such success with preforming it before it felt more natural once he started again. He once again began the flurry of hand seals. The tenketsu all around his body began exerting his chakra into the immediate area. The Spiritual pressure around him made the area dense again enough to make the air feel a bit stale and the gravity a bit more noticable.

It took little effort having the shape and nature manipulation mastered. He began to recreate the torrent of petals. His mental synapses melding with his physical life force melded the petals into existence. They lightly swayed before forming around him. His focus shifted as he realized he had actually lost focus after seeing a fish jump upwards. It was electrocuted from making contact with the petals, Shippai had found that the petals followed his every move and step.

The petals were and electrical extension of his life like his puppets. He moved his arms in a throwing pattern causing the petals to shock his hand a bit from over extension. The smile and laugh which occured was unnatural but the jutsu was so beautiful he wished to perfect it.

This time he would lower the time to produce the jutsu and maintain it completely. Shippai first kneeled down to place his shocked hand into the stream allowing the water to cool it off a bit. The jutsu was very dangerous and not having complete control over of it immediately could prove dangerous. His eyes opened wide at the realization of what such a jutsu could do for him. His arms pushed him up allowing him to maintain his balance onto his feet.

He stared into the stream and watched it dance around, Raiton was different then Suiton and Fuuton. It is balanced and pure to its vry core control of such a thing would be impossible if not for chakra. The boy brought his hands together palms flat against each oher. He began to spread the a tiny distance apart before reflattening them together. A precaution to allow sealing speed to not over take his hands. As he began each seal readily met its mark from start to finish.

Once the chakra was melded dude to the hand seals all that was left was to prepare the atmosphere around him. Shippai began to focus his chakra all around his body, doing so allowed his chakra to push forth causing it to build around his body before expanding invisibly. He stood in the same spot concentrating the chakra and allowing his mental synapses to create the petals. The layer of chakra created a pressure, allowing the chakra he once molded to attach to it like a magnetic field. The process was different having redone the jutsu twice before the speed at which the petals replicated increased covering twenty a second.

The chakra he sent out allowed them to float around his body in a heavenly scene. The petals floated around and with every step followed his movement, a feat once unable to be completed. The structure of the jutsu was still weak at the petals were still mis-shapened and malformed. Yet the ability to carry them around was perfected allowing the petals to move fluidly as if they were a kekkei genkai. Shippai began to move slowly trying to figure out how balanced the jutsu was after his third time creating them. The petals began to disappear one by one as move movements occured. His hopes of mastery weren't crushed yet since he still had a plan to finish this jutsu once and for all.

Shippai stared around him as the jutsu disappeared once again, his eyes stared around the area wondering what he could do to improve the jutsu and make it perfect. He noticed the petals were disfigured and didn't look like cheery blossoms at all. He hadn't leanred much about shape manipulation or nature manipulation but he would have to try his hardest. He once again tried to form the jutsu, the hand seals were rapidly completed. He looked around him as the petals began to appear his body had already sent out the changes around him without him having to concentrate.

The petals began to come into existence but Shippai began to think. His experience with the scrolls and teacher would allow him to figure out how do do such a complicated jutsu perfectly.

" Raiton.....Raiton is purity yet also divinity the power of lightning is a flash which mustn't be contained but allowed to be set free. "

He tried his best and began to think of the quick execution of lightning, the rapid and extreme pulsation of such strikes. His mind mentally prepared itself to act as if each petal was real lightning. The petals began to give off a charge as they began to reform around him. The crackle changed to a pulse as the raiton was composed into the petal.
