Hannah had expected anger in the form of embarrassment, but not explosive hatred and rage directed at Hannah herself. She merely stood there, looming over Emi as she broke down. She said nothing, not even as she ran off into the woods. Yes, Emi was so much like Hannah. They were outcasts in an academy of normal kids. The difference was that they did in fact have someone, they had each other, which was the very reason they were mistreated. 'Go after her Hannah.'
Hannah, however, did not do that. Her goal had not changed in a single night. She had a witness to protect and escort to Takigakure, and it was obvious she didn't have any help apart from her sister, who wasn't available for separation at this time. She moved around the small, and very brief, battlefield and collected what she could of the utilized senbon. Four from the man that could actually fight worth a damn, and the two she dropped when she was kicked square in the jaw. The other two were lodged too deep in someone's throat to retrieve, or too deep in the forest to bother hunting down. "Jules, don't tell me what to do. I admit, I see a resemblance, but she's not going to grow up if we treat her like a child. We weren't treated like children, and when we learned this, we stopped acting like them."
Hannah walked over towards Kobayashi, who had literally passed out from panic. So troublesome. This whole day was just one whirlwind of trouble. She kicked the midget witness in the side to rouse him awake. "Get up Kobayashi, we're leaving for Taikigakure. It's not much further. Hannah didn't have patience for the child today. She would tolerate her presence, she would even go as far as to let her hang around and help out in missions, but she would not slow down for her. Emi would have to keep up if she wanted to.
