[/i] was no longer there, only a cannibalistic demon that dwelt in the shell of what they used to be. So they were transformed to undead themselves.I see the bad moon arising.
I see trouble on the way.
I see earthquakes and lightnin'.
I see bad times today.
Don't go around tonight,
Well, it's bound to take your life,
There's a bad moon on the rise.
I hear hurricanes a'blowing.
I know the end is coming soon.
I fear rivers over flowing.
I hear the voice of rage and ruin.
Hope you got your things together.
Hope you are quite prepared to die.
Looks like we're in for nasty weather.
One eye is taken for an eye.☾ BAD MOON RISING ☽
Rank: B
Plot:
But despite all the turmoil, the ninja of Amegakure would manage to center their base of operations around the Amekage Tower and throughout the Kage district, providing intel, medical needs and shelter to all those uninfected. But now, as the dawn of this terrifying morning arrived, the ninja of Amegakure will have to be put to action fast, before the infection spreads. While a good percentage of Amegakure's military are fighting off the masses and providing support overall, a few specialized teams and individuals have been hand picked by the Amesaiken and the Amekage to get to the root of the problem and put an end to it all. These teams will be sent to certain sectors- still under repair from the previous civil war- to eradicate the undead there and investigate means of solving this terror once and for all.
The graveyards that spawned a majority of these flesh-eating terrors reside in the Skidrow, Maintenance, Academic and Uptown districts. The teams assigned to these districts have been entrusted with information from the oldest archives available, archives accessible to the Amesaiken alone. These files depict what really happened thousands of years ago, and what can be done to banish them once more- hopefully on a more permanent basis this time. The rewards for the completion of their missions are substantial, considering they'll be facing off against evils they have never faced off against before. They'll be faced with terrible decisions in the coming hours, with endeavors that will test their willpower, and perhaps even with the prospect of decapitating their own deceased loved ones. But it must be done, and quickly![/ul]

Seal of the Dead Star

Type: Juuinjutsu / Amegakure Exclusive
History:
An ancient seal created by the founders of Amegakure ages ago, the Seal of the Dead Star has been kept secret from everyone but the Amesaiken for centuries, hidden in a mysterious archive said to contain the country's history dating back to its birth. Each member of the Amesaiken, upon discovering the scrolls that held the strange seals their ancestors had used in the past, vowed never to divulge such information carelessly to others- as the seals in question were of the same caliber as relics to the village hidden in the rain. The Seal of the Dead Star in particular, was created to counter the effects of the virus that brought the dead to life, a seal that the citizens of Amegakure only believed existed in the legends they shared. With the dawn of the prophecy fulfilled, the Amesaiken have broken their pact and shared this seal with the ninja in charge of carrying out their specialized missions. It isn't to be shared with anyone else- secrecy is key.
Effect:
Locks a graveyard when drawn on a sigil stone and restricts the virus from waking the dead underground. May be drawn on an infected person once to hold back the effects of the virus. Once the infected individual leaves the thread, or is bitten again, the virus will return and continue on as it normally would. Takes 2 full turns of interrupted RP to draw upon any surface, then a C-Rank amount of chakra to activate it.
Description:
After performing the necessary hand seals, the user will voice the words "surgentes stellam // rising star fall" to coat the fingers of their dominant hand with the light blue glow of seal-scribing chakra. The chakra in question is only meant for drawing, and cannot cause harm in any way. They will use this strangely colored chakra to commence to draw the somewhat complex Seal of the Dead Star, on any surface that isn't jagged or distorted. When they are finished, they will charge their entire hand with the blue seal energy and slap their palm against their drawing to transfer and activate it with their chakra. By drawing said symbol on the surface of a sigil stone- a flat piece of ritualistic stone found in many of Amegakure's graveyards- the effect of the seal will seep into the ground and spread after it is activated. By activating it on an infected person- preferably on their back or stomach- the seal will overcome the individual's senses with an electrifying sensation. While it can not heal any injuries, nor restore depleted stamina, it will serve as a deterrent for any virus present at the time. (See 'Effect' For More Detail)
