Personality [/u]
I live by simple guidelines that I call my creed. They go hand in hand with what I've learned through Bushido. The first tenant of my creed is to not harm innocents, for they have not dirtied their hands in anyway that foresees death as punishment. It also only creates more baggage to deal with while going on in life. Growing up I was taught that those whom have not wronged you are to be treated no different than you would wish to be treated. Though they are not to be given respect so easily, just because you have no ill mind toward them does not mean you must respect them. For respect is something that is earned through hard work and determination.
The second tenant; Honor thy blade. To care for my blade as if it were a part of my own body, the sword has a name and should be respected. For without it, I never would have made it this far in life. This tenant coincides with the first, revolving on not spilling the blood of innocents and tainting the legend my blade had been painting for all these years. I believe in using my abilities to protect those whom are innocent and are worth something in this world. Unlike all the scum that tends to plague such a beautiful paradise. After any major battle or miniscule mission that I partake on I clean and sharpen my blade, readying it for the next time I may need to call upon it.
The third and final tenant of my creed; Nothing is true and everything is permitted. There are no absolute truths in this world, even death can be avoided in some extent if your mind is open. Those whom love you will carry your memory forever, never truly letting you die. Therefor with such a mentality, it says that anything is possible to those whom are willing to believe it so. If you wish to complete something, the first step in doing so is to believe yourself capable of doing it. After that, you must attempt until you succeed. Part of my success in life is due to my never say die mentality, if I plan on completing the goal at hand I will do it. Even if it kills me in the end, the success of the mission is all that matters.
Though other than my Creed, the best way to look at me as a loudmouth and a hot head. I may be quick to start a fight, I only draw the blade when honor is involved. If it's nothing more than a show of strength, I'll rely on my body as a weapon instead of my companion. I dislike things such as smoking and alcohol, for it impairs your judgement along with ruins your body. My body is a temple, I respect it for what it is, despite the tattoos upon my body, those are not to tarnish my image but to push it forward.
Appearance [/u]
Blue hair, grey eyes and sun kissed skin, there isn't a normal thing about my appearance. Though I would then ask you what the hell is normal in this shinobi world? Blue tribal tattoos would be placed on my shoulders and arms. The bands and circles were only representation to what my father had tattooed on his own body. It had become a family signature in the males apparently, though tradition is as tradition does. Standing tall at five feet and ten inches, my weight would be little in fat and primarily in muscle from all the physical training I've endured over the years. Along with that, I have several small little scars upon my chest and arms, though unless up close most aren't even noticeable. Most earned through training, none really came with an awesome story, not yet at least. When spotted in public for the most part I'm caught with no shirt, despite the temperature dropping to a cold degree. It doesn't truly bother me too much ever since my childhood up in Yuki no Kuni. That along with the fact that I take pride in my physical appearance, it shows how hard I've worked in my shinobi way. There was always something that you'd find me wearing on the street, be it in a fight, training or even a formal event. My signature red W shaped sunglasses, over sized compared to my face yet designed specifically for it. They were flashy, classy and down right bad ass!
Combat//Training Attire: When dressing for combat, I'm usually found wearing black loose pants that a samurai would be seen wearing. The light fabric would allow me swift movements without being held down by weight. Along with it, it would tear easily if caught by or on something instead of entangling my movements. Over that I wear a white belt that's a bit large, it's covered in small holes, each hole lined with a metal circle allowing me to adjust the belt as I see fit. Along with attaching any type of pouch or item to it I saw fit. Traditional sandals are often worn with no socks on my feet, though if need be, you may find me wearing black leather boots of a sturdy yet light material. If seen wearing a shirt it's rare, though has been done. It would be a tight form fitting black t-shirt, more so an undershirt though I've never been a fan of having a shirt on. Though on my abdomen you will normally find bandaging wrapping around my lower abdominal muscles. Though the bandages will also be found on my forearms down over my hands and partially up each finger. My headband is placed properly on my forehead beneath my bangs. Along with my Katana sheathed on my left hip and butt bag attached to my belt just above my right butt cheek.
Formal Attire: Yes we all have to dress up and look all fancy from time to time. Though it's not my favorite thing to do, I will if I must. I will tell you this, for such a scruffy looking bad ass I can clean up awful good. Wearing a black suite with a white button up shirt beneath the jacket. Black dress pants would stretch down my legs until they met black socks and black dress shoes that lace up elegantly. Around my neck and beneath the collar of my shirt rests a navy blue tie that is made of a silky material. While in this outfit I rarely carry a headband let alone any of my weapons. This is after all my attire intended for peaceful outings that involve manners and diction. This is also one of the few to only times you'd ever catch me wearing a shirt let alone a tie. Though I will always respect the wishes of those whom deserve such actions.
History [/u]
Born the son of a Warrior and a Merchant, destined to do something far greater than I ever thought possible. My father was a samurai by birth right, he had sworn his life to the blade along with his heart to my Mother. She was the daughter of a wealthy merchant and trader. Through their time together they'd begin to fall for each other as my father served as guard on her caravan that traveled the world. Through countless attacks, he'd find opportunity over and over again to save her life, soon enough these hero games would win her eye and heart soon after. He swore to protect and love her for the rest of his time on this Earth. They'd get married and soon enough have a child, this child would be Ezio de Luca, p.s. that's me. Soon enough the caravan life would be left behind by them as they realized raising me was far more important to them. Though my mother still ran it, my father also trained all the guards upon the expeditions.
So they settled down back in the town of Yozamu in Yuki no Kuni. They had a large house and quite the bank to back their lifestyle. Though my father would raise me to not take advantage of what was given to me while living. Nothing must be taken for granted, but cherished in all ways possible. Even pain can be viewed as something that can aid you in this life. He'd gift me a blade that he obtained on his journey's with my Mother when I reached the age of six. He'd begin teaching me in the family arts of Kenjutsu. It would be the first real combat that I learned while trying to be the best my father could hope for. I had a lot to live up to with a family of Samurai, I must uphold the tradition by becoming a worthy recipient of the name De Luca. I would train day in and day out, out in the cold, inside within the dojo, wherever I could so long as I could find peace of mind while doing such. By the time I reached the age of ten I'd be begging to go on one of the caravans and serve the family as a sign of good faith. Though my parents feared letting me go off on my own at such a young age, I'd be denied my request. Though at that time I didn't understand, I felt it was they didn't believe me fit enough to do so. Therefor I'd go off to train nonstop until they saw me fit to become a true Samurai.
Two years later both my parents were required to go on an expedition of a caravan, they would agree to bring me along with to see the family business in action. As we traveled across several countries I would be bored out of my mind, sitting on the wagon watching out for absolutely nothing it seemed. When we camped I would train harder just to help the time pass by, for I was getting plenty of rest as we traveled. Though it would be one night while we slept, I heard the alarm sound as blades would begin to clash, bandits had surged in on the camp attempting to take us by surprise. Though as I grabbed my blade I would see my father fighting off several bandits to protect my mother. Seeing a guard be outnumbered and out matched, I'd quickly draw blade and join his side to help him push them back. Soon enough the bandits would retreat and the casualties would become a reality. Several guards had fallen or been injured during the fight, both of my parents were unharmed. I had a few minor cuts but nothing to hold me back.
We'd stop in the City of Dante in Oto no Kuni, it was here that my parents had announced their retirement from the business passing it off to those whom they deemed worthy. Though I was not to inherit my family's business, no they had other plans for me apparently. My father would approach me later that night and tell me that I must set off on my own as a Swordsman and find my way through life. Though to never forget the Creed that had been passed down through my family. Confused as to what to think or even say I'd leave the moment in silence. It'd be the next day that I would bid farewell to my parents in Dante where they'd now reside. I traveled the countryside for a month, just a boy and his blade. Soon enough I'd take up training under a different style of swordplay, this would push me more toward the Shinobi arts. Finally finding myself within Otogakure no Sato, I'd enroll in the academy and let the years of schooling begin. I was older than all those around me, but I intended to excel with the training I had earned all those years living as a swordsman.
