Battle on Ouzu Island [p/nde]

The battlefield is that of a rocky coast. Water can be seen as far as the eye can see on one side and ouzu island on the other. The specific spot they are in have many tiny outlets of water coming in and many varying sizes of rocks jutting out into the water. The water he is not very deep only about 10 feet at its deepest until you go about 40 feet from the shore where it plummets in depth. A large cliff is about 20 feet inland from the waterline where a semi dense forest lays in wait.

Saigoto had just walked ashore coming back from the training dojo that was quite literaly in the middle of the ocean. He walked over and taken a seat with his back to the wall of the cliff. He stared out into the ocean wondering just how much he had improved from his training with master kojiki. Would he be able to beat someone from his village now or anyone for that matter. Saigoto couldnt tell he needed a way to test himself. If need be he would head back to the village and finally ask Kysuugi if he wanted to fight. It had been long over due.

(ooc: Not the greatest first post ever but then again im not to good at these first post hope its okay with you. I tried to give both of us a weak area to fight in aka the water and then both of us a strong area for you the stone and for me the trees.)

I Know its a terrible rule and I hate it, but you need to know it. However, I am letting you off, you have all the equipment stated in your profile - Just keep that in mind in future ))

Running along the water, about 20ft out from the shore line, Jimarai would traverse the waves, weaving in and out of the inlets and flows, his mind a wash with thoughts of Hoki, his Genin that had apparnetly taken his own life. He had no real way to tell his teammates, and he could hardly believe it himself. A kidnapping or murder was highly unlikely as well, plaguing the Tsuchikage's thoughts. He would snap back to reality as the sword at his hip gave a tap against his leg as he cleared a large wave, and the jingle of a number of kunai (6), several feet of wire wire (15ft), shuriken (9), exploding tags (12), 10 bells and 2 smoke grenades; in his weapons pouch above his backside. This weapon pouch would be tucked away from view under Jimarai's black trench coat, his Tuschikage Robe and Hat sit sitting in the Spectator Room for the Chuunin Exam.

The noise about his person would cause him to look up and about, seeing a figure leaning against a brief cliff at the shoreline, he would instantly peg the boy as one of his Genin.

Best to keep quiet about Hoki until we're all together ...

" Saigoto ... how goes it there? Care for a little ... sparr to pass the time? A smile would curl at one side of the Kage's mouth, eager to test out his remaining Genin, to test their steele.

Still standing upon the undulating waves, these words would be shouted across to the boy so that he could hear him, some 20ft away.

[Saigoto]

((Okay sorry about that it actually just hit me before I logged on just now. I was like crap i didnt post my weapons lol.))

Saigoto was almost asleep groggy he heard a voice. "Saigoto" He looked out to the water to see the kage standing there on the water. "How goes it there? Care for a little spar to pass the time." Saigoto stood up. This was perfect timing he had just come back from the dojo and all ready he would have someone to test his newly found skills against. After standing up he stretched just a little bit before giving the Kage his answer. "I don't know how much of a challenge i can give to the Kage of our village but...." He paused as he reached behind him and grabbed his scythe off of his back pulling it in front of his body. He would instantly take up his stance. His feet being paced about shoulder length apart the butt end of the scythe resting against the ground with the handle going across the front of his body at about a 30 degree angle. "I will do as best as I can"

His hands would tighten their grip around the handle. Saigoto would hope to himself that he could take the kage on. Atleast lasting more then just a few seconds. A grin on his face. His first real fight sense his days at the academy. One thing was sure this would be anything but easy.

Kamashi Basic Stance

Effect: Allows the user to perform the basic techniques of the Kamashi Style, without it, the user could hurt himself.

Description: The Kamashi Stance is a balanced stance, with equal strength in offense and defense. The user of the style places his scythe with one end on the ground at a 30 degree angle across his body, directly in front of himself, blade facing the target. With the sickles, the user face the sickles in an "x" form in front of them in a 30 degree angle making it a good defense style and offense protection.
Limit: Must learn from a master of the Kamashi Fighting Style.

[Jimarai Kotetsu]

A fire would escape Jimarai, one that had been all but quenched since his appointment to Kage.

Finally ... some FUN! Something to do ... a battle.

Inclining his head politely to his student he would wave a hand before him, inviting him to make the first move. It was not honorable to set upon a weaker opponent first in battle. Though Jimarai would keep an open mind about his student, remembering that he himself was not all that strong compared to others, the previous Tsuchikage, Itsu in particular.

Placing his hands on his hips and drawing his trench coat back slightly he would await the movements of the boy as he readied his large and cumbersome weapon.

So basically, I'll just need to dodge that and I'll be fine ... He won't be able to go from offense to defense very quickly ... Hmmm ... I wonder how he's compensated for that ... Mmm.

Reflex Training [10]

[Saigoto]

It looked like Saigoto would have to make the first move. The kage seemed to have a sword to. It looked like this would be a fight of weapons. Saigoto hoped he would have the upper hand with his scythe having a greater reach. Saigoto would begin by starting to move forward a jog at first but he would pick up to a running speed after a few steps. However during those first few steps Saigoto would do two things. His left hand would release the scythe handle reaching behind him and picking out three shuriken from his butt bag one between all four of his fingers. His right hand which had remained on the scythe would move the blade part of the scythe behind Saigotos head. Saigoto would have to prepare well for this attack. He thought quickly. He would need to get the kage to stay in the same spot and preferably block his first attack rather then dodge it by moving to far out of Saigotos reach.

Saigoto was about ten feet away from the Kage at this point his left hand would come in front of his body releasing the shuriken sending them spinning at the kage. Saigoto threw them however in a manner that would make them easily dodgeable or blockable. He wanted the kage to stay where he was. Once saigoto would finish closing the gap he would grip the scythe with both hands again swinging the scythe high into the air from behind his head and bringing the bladed part down behind the kage he would then yank the blade back towards himself aiming for the kages left shoulder. This however Saigoto was hoping the kage would dodge or block. If the kage did either of those two things and stayed within Saigotos range he would grip the scythe flipping the handle of the blade backwards around his arm and attempt to bring the non bladed end of the scythe around ramming it into the kages stomach.

(( I try not to worry about the movements too much unless someone grossly objects, in which case I'd rewrite the post. Just remember, you can only do so much in six seconds, thats the rule I generally go by. Otherwise, you're doing good ))

A quizzical look upon the Kage's face would herald curiosity about the boys plan. He appeared to be ... running straight at him. Quickly though, he would launch 3 shuriken at him. The shuriken themselves weren't traveling terribly fast, probably due to the strain of carrying the large scythe in one arm. WHatever he was doing, he was intending on getting up close and personal with that large weapon of his and it certainly looked capable of doing damage in the right hands.

The moment the shurken were thrown Jimarai would quickly power through a few short zodiacs, chakra quickly coursed through his body and he would launch himself forward, arcing around to the right of the shuriken, towards Saigoto's left, a mere few feet from the boy as he was preparing a downward strike. This would no doubt surprise him and cause him to flinch or otherwise alter his attack.

But now the close combat was on Jimarai's terms. He had caught the boy off guard on his side, instead of remaining a sitting duck infront of him. He would quickly kick at Saigoto aiming into the side of his torso to defer the attack and assailant away, parallel to the coast now if successful. The kick had no taijutsu training behind it and would cause little to no damage at all, merely sending Saigoto in a different direction.

If this was indeed successful, he would reach into his buttbag and pull out a kunai and quickly launch it at where he perceived the boy to land on the water.

Shunshin no Jutsu - Ko (Body Flicker Technique - Arc)[10]

Effect: A Jutsu that allows a user to rush in an arc in almost instantaneous speed. Allows the user to avoid the opponent's attack and gaze.

Drawback: Takes away the number of usages Shunshin no Jutsu - Oshi (Body Flicker Technique - Push). Same distance applications apply. Same drawbacks apply when over using.
Description: User is able to move in an arc along the ground in almost instantaneous untraceable speed while temporarily masking the user's movements within 10 meters. User may move forward, or backwards if they know Tweh version of Shunshin. This Jutsu is used to get around and behind an opponent without sacrificing multiple Shunshins. Supplement of Shunshin no Jutsu - Oshi (Body Flicker Technique - Push) using same schematics.
Limit: Universal NinJutsu or Universal TaiJutsu, Must know Shunshin no Jutsu - Oshi (Body Flicker Technique - Push)

[Saigoto]

Saigoto watched the kage closely. The kunai he had previously thrown headed directly towards the kage. The kage then seemed to vanish from Saigotos sight. When Saigoto had finally found the kage again he was to his left side a kick headed towards his chest. There was nothing Saigoto could do the kick colided into the boys left side. Sending the boy flying in a completly diffrent direction then before. As Saigoto flew threw the air he would kick his feet up to attempt a backflip and land on his feet his scythe hanging by his side held firmly in hir sirhgt hand. His left hand steadying his landing on the water. As saigoto looked up a kunai was headed straight for him. Pushing off the surface of the water with both his hands and his feet he would jump in the air a decent height the kunai would fall into the water. It was at a time like this Saigoto wished that he had trained into his clan jutsu just a little more. "Damnit" he said. The kage landed the first hit. Saigoto didnt like that. The first hit was always crucial to a fight.

Saigoto landed on top of the water again almost exactly where he was at before. Saigoto wished at this moment he had a few more offensive moves. This wasnt working in his favor. He was about a good twelve feet away from the leader of his village at this point. Saigoto's eyes quickly drifted to his left the shore was there. All though it may not work it may have been his best chance at getting this. He atleast wanted to land one his on the kage. Saigoto would turn his body a full nintey degrees tot he left he would keep an eye on the kage. He would need to. Saigoto started in a dead sprint towards the closest rock on the shores. His hands fastening the scythe to his back once more. Once he reached one of the outcrops of rocks the scythe was secured to his back and saigoto began a small chain of handseals. A few tiny pepples no bigger then about a inch in diameter began to come up on the surface. Saigoto would take aim and the rocks would then shoot themselves of the ground towards the kage. I hope this works Saigoto said to himself.

Doton: Tamaishi Danmaku (Earth Element: Pebble Barrage)

Effect: A simple technique used as a distraction in which the user uses a few hand seals concentrating along the chakra towards the ground. Doing so, the user takes the chakra and the rocks as they use the simple knowledge of the Doton Soushi no Jutsu (Rock Creation Technique) to push forth sending multiple small grape sized like pebbles towards the opponent.
Special: "Handseals"
Drawback: Depending of the rank the user knows of Doton Soushi no Jutsu (Rock Creation Technique) depends on how much pebbles the user is capable of pushing forth.
Description: Small like stones is created along the ground in pebble like form as they are pushed up along the ground and sent flying towards the very enemy or enemies depending on the type of distance the enemy or where the enemy is standing. This type of attack is somewhat of a basic like attack and is to be considered more of an annoyance when first learned by the basic form of Doton Soushi no Jutsu (Rock Creation Technique). When the user gains rank as well as Difficulty class of Doton Soushi no Jutsu (Rock Creation Technique) the technique of Doton: Tamaishi Danmaku (Earth Element: Pebble Barrage) becomes even more dangerous with more pebbles within the distance.
Limit: Needs the Earth Release, must have knowledge of Doton Soushi no Jutsu (Rock Creation Technique)

[Jimarai Kotetsu]

He wasn't the strongest ninja, but he certainly was capable of reading his opponents. Saigoto really had no Suiton jutsu, much like Jimarai, and was more adept at Doton and the Wood release, so for sure, he would make a break for the shore now. The thing was, Jimarai had the advantage now.

In the time it took for Saigoto to jump and dodge the Kunai that had been thrown at him, Jimarai would launch into another set of zodiacs, the same as before, and he would be hurtled to his right, to the shore almost instantaneously. Turning to see the boy running to the shore also, there would be time for two short and effective techniques to halt him in his tracks.

Presumably, Saigoto would look at Jimarai having darted ahead of him again, and in this moment, the jutsu would be cast. A wave of chakra, undetectable without a doujutsu, would hit the Genin and within milliseconds, black crows would start to fly up from behind Jimarai, squawking as they did, and pelt towards the Genin. His vision now obscured with Jimarai hiding behind the crows, he would not halt in the creation of his handseals, and hold a final ram seal.

Following this, Jimarai would quickly reach for and throw two Kunai directly at Saigoto's torso. This would result in the two kunai being imbued with a small amount of chakra, again undetectable without a doujutsu, and them taking the appearance and sound of two black Ravens. Sure that the boy would not be able to tell them apart from crows, let alone as weapons, he entered the Iajutsu Stance, in case his plan failed and his student overcame the onslaught upon his mind.

Shunshin no Jutsu - Oshi (Body Flicker Technique - Push)[20]

Effect: A Jutsu that allows a user to rush forward in almost instantaneous speed. Used to draw the user close to the opponent.
Special: ---
Drawback: May use 3 times a day. May perform 1 more each time learned. Passing amount renders the user's legs immobile due to severe pain. Unable to perform again unless gained medical treatment. Must move through an opening. Unable to maneuver around obstructing objects. Can't attack while performing any Shunshin or Variation.
Description: User is able to move forward in a straight line along the ground in almost instantaneous untraceable speed while temporarily masking the user's movements within 10 meters. A puff of smoke is occasionally used to disguise the user's movements. It is accomplished by focusing the user's chi along the ankles and foot. User mostly moves just with their ankles and feet. Jutsu takes up no movements. User may only use this Jutsu half of the movements may allow in a single round while rounding down. Example: User has 5 movements, user is able to perform Jutsu 2 times per round.
Limit: Universal NinJutsu or Universal TaiJutsu.

Description: User does the Ram hand seal and builds chakra in his eyes. He then projects the chakra out of his eyes and in to the opponent’s eyes. the chakra makes its way to the brain were it takes affect. to the opponent a flock of crows appears and mauls the enemy. This gives the person performing the jutsu a chance to escape or gain a better position. this jutsu lasts 1-2 turns

Description: The user holds up to two slots worth of secondary weaponry in his hands, sending a small amount (E-rank) of chakra into each separate weapon. When thrown the chakra forms the image of a flying raven around the weapon, concealing it as a regular bird, also sound is produced to make it seem even more realistic

Iaijutsu Stance [5]

Effect: Allows the use of Iaijutsu Forms.

Drawbacks: None
Description: The practitioner moves into a bow stance, their main hand resting over the hilt of the sword without gripping it, and their offhand resting just under the hilt on the sheath; they stand slightly crouched, able to easily move to a kneeling of standing position for their forms.
Restrictions: Must have a Senpai/Sensei of a Kenjutsu Dojo to learn.

[Saigoto]

A flock of crows flew suddenly from behind the kage and towards the boy. The crows flew in almost a frenzied kind of pattern coming towards Saigoto from every angle and curve attacking the boy. The birds would continue their assult. It was hard for Saigoto to see the kage now Saigoto didn't like that. He would immediately turn around and jump down below putting a decently large formation of rocks between himself and the kage. He was not liking this current situation and he would have to do something about these crows. Saigoto would form a few handseals creating a completly illusionary clone of himself. the clone would be directed to run in the opposite direction from where saigoto was going to be going. The clone ran directly back from where Saigoto originally was and would begin to head more inland of the island. Hoping to pull the kage off his trail as Saigoto would keep swatting at the crows attacking him these damn things couldn't chase him into the water could they now. Saigoto would submerge himself completely in the water. He would wait about 4 seconds before coming back up for air. Hopefully the Kage did chase his clone.

Bunshin no Jutsu (Clone Skill)
Rank: "E"
Skill: GenJutsu
Effect: This technique creates intangible clones of the user. The clones are simply illusions and will dissipate when they come into contact with something.
Special: Tiger, Boar, Ox, Dog or Ram, Snake, Tiger.
Drawback: The illusions can be seen through Chakra seeing techniques. A person with normal eyes can also distinguish the clones from the original, since the clones will not disrupt the area around themselves with their movement (won't kick up dust, crush grass, etc.).
Description: Bunshin no Jutsu creates a clone of the user, which can be used as a means to create a diversion, distraction, or cause confusion. Like Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Art of the Shadow Doppelganger), these clones will simply disappear if come into contact, but unlike Kage Bunshin, they are substanceless, and thus cannot do any damage. These Clones may be moved around freely and easily to the user's wish.
Limit: Universal Academy technique, must have a perception

[Jimarai Kotetsu]

Ahhh ... My apprentice still has much to learn it would seem.

Unless broken, a genjutsu could not be fooled by another genjutsu. The crows swarmed the boy as he jumped over to the rocky and precarious shoreline, inadvertantly dodging the two kunai thrown at him. A clone of hte boy would break away from the flock of crows. Jimarai would know it to be a clone purely because the crows remained around the boy, not fooled by his simple genjutsu.

Saigoto would then do something strange and Jimarai would pause a moment ... He would submerge himself in water, the crows still dive bombing the surface. Did he think his clone would be successful and that this would fool him? No matter.

Quickly reaching for a kunai with an explosive tag attached he would throw it up in the air, so that it would land in the water beside the boy and Jimarai would hold the 'Kai' seal ready to activate it, but obviously not going to, for fear of killing the boy. It was just a reminder that he had been caught out.

[Saigoto]

The damn crows never stopped their assault on the boy. He had hoped submerging himself in the water would stop their attack but apparently they just continued trying to attack the boy threw the surface of the water. Theres got to be some way I can get around this. Saigoto thought to himself. His four seconds were up and he quickly shot up from the water his moment of truth. Had the Kage followed the clone of the boy or not. As Saigoto emerged the crows continued their attack. "Damn crows" Saigoto thought to himself. All the sudden he heard something strike the water with a plop. Looking down threw the surface of the water he could see a kunai with a piece of paper wrapped around it.

Saigoto had nothing to do. He thought about getting on top of the water and trying to jump away but the tags explosion would catch him wouldn't it. The only other possible thing he could do was keeping his hand in the water he quickly would reach out and grab the kunai. A crow pecked him right in the temple. That one hurt quite a bit. "Get out of here" Saigoto Yelled as he ripped his hand out of the water tossing the kunai closer towards the shore. He could have sworn he had hit two or three crows at the time. Saigoto climbed up onto the surface of the water. The crows seemed to finally left him alone. A more accurate word would be they vanished.

Saigoto sighed as he looked around. Locating the Kage Saigoto stood there. He had to do something but he wasnt sure what at all he could do.

[Jimarai Kotetsu]

A slight smirk would inhabit the Kage's mouth, eying down his apprentice.

Time to ease up a bit I think ... see what he's got to show for himself ...

" Well come on then! Is that all you've got? Being deflected and attacked by my genjutsu? Maybe my choice in apprentices was off then. Lets end it then and I'll get Kysuugi to show you how to fight!"

The smirk would grow and Jimarai would cross his arms in satisfaction at having said enough to adequately provoke the Genin. Arguably he could be thrown into a rage and his attacks would be sloppy, but frankly, it was worth the risk, just to draw him out a bit and test him.

The Kage would stand upon the rocky plateau and outcrops that made up the shore and now hold out his arms as if beckoning his pupil to prove him wrong. His Genjutsu now expired there would be nothing hindering an attack upon the Tsuchikage. He would, however, keep an eye on the explosive tagged kunai that had been thrown ashore, weary of it being used against him.

[Saigoto]

The crows had finally stopped their assault and seemed to vanish into thin air. So it was a genjutsu. That wasn't all though the Kage started talking seeming to degrade Saigoto. That was great. Saigoto didn't like what was being said so far. Then the kage through at Saigoto a huge insult.

"Lets end it then and I'll get Kysuugi to show you how to fight!" Saigoto snapped. Whipping himself up onto the surface of the water Saigotos anger surged he was only about twenty five feet away from the kage at this point. A good range for him to finally use his technique. Saigoto reached quickly into his pouch with both hands pulling out six suriken three in each hand. His hands began moving back and forth as he threw each suriken separately. Causeing an easy gap in them for them to be deflected or dodges by the kage simply moving to the left or the right. As soon as that was over Saigoto began a string of handseals. it would take him a few seconds to finish the handseals but the last two suriken he threw shouldnt have reached the kage before Saigoto finished. The suriken were simply a distraction to keep the kages attention in front of him. Also Saigoto hoped the kage would see him performing the handseals. The Kage would easily expect Saigoto to use some form of direct jutsu that would travel between the two of them. However the jutsu Saigoto was using could be created anywhere within a 32 foot radius of himself.

As Saigoto would finish the final handseal the chakra would serge from his body into the ground behind the kage. Six branches would begin to form and come out of the ground behind the kage. Each branch would target a different area on the kages body to target. One on each elbow. One on each ankle. One around his waist. And the final one around his neck. Saigoto hoped he would never see the branches coming. The branches were about 6 inches in diameter which would make cutting threw them slightly difficult. Even if he managed to cut one he would have a hard time cutting all six of them.

All Saigoto knew was anger right now. The kage comparing him to Kysuugi was a huge insult. Saigoto would immediately begin to charge the kage. After the technique was performed pulling his scythe out. All he could hope for is that the kage would think that the handseals were for some unknown jutsu. As long as the kage kept his attention on the boy saigoto should have no problem captureing the kage.

Mokuton Soutei Hashira (Wood Release - Binding Pillars)(X1)

Skill: NinJutsu
Effect: A technique where branches is pushed from the ground and wraps around an opponent.
Special: "Boar, Dragon, Ram, Boar"
Drawback: This technique is the basics of other techniques. The user must learn this technique multiple times in order for the distance of branches can increases.
Description: After using the seals the user uses the water and earth release in which branches crushes out of the ground to wrap around the user. When the user first learns this technique the user is capable of creating approximatly Six Different branches with a width of six inches, with the distance of Ten Meters From the user. Every time learned the distance may increase by an additional ten Meters. When the distance reaches up to a Hundred Meters the type of training becomes B-Rank Training. When the distance reaches Two Hundred Meters the Training becomes A-Rank. When the user reaches to B-Rank Training the width of branches is Twelve Inches if the user desires. When the Training Reaches A-Rank the width of the branches is Twenty Four Inches if the user desires. Each time learned the user is capable of creating another branch.
Limit: Must have the Wood Release

The smirk would fade from Jimarai's face, though the nonchalance would remain. There would most likely not be anything that Saigoto could do that would harm him, so he still stood with his arms crossed across his chest. At this time however, the Genin would draw six shuriken out, throwing them at the Kage. Entering into the Iajutsu Stance, the Tsuchikage would ready his sword to deflect any shuriken that would come into his range.

Striking three of them from the air, Jimarai would then see a series of handseals being manipulated by the pupil and he would guess that the shuriken attack was merely a diversion. The handseals would finish and nothing would be changed. Quickly scanning his peripheral vision, a tree branch, about 6 inches thick would rise up and start a strike at Jimarai's right elbow. Quickly pushing off of the ground and launching a meter forward towards Saigoto he would dodge it, though now see a total of 6 branches curling their way towards him at a formidable speed.

Nothing for it.

A few speedily configured seal later under the Kage's prowess of ninjutsu, he would inhale quickly and then exhale, the chakra having gathered in his lungs and blown out and projected as high velocity and highly compressed water. The beauty of the jutsu was it did more danage at close range as the pressure was not lost to distance. The burst of water was by no means strong, but enough to strike one of the brachnes, cutting part way through its width, allowing for a quick strike from the kneeling position with Jimarai's Tachi. The branch itself was made of wood, much weaker than steel. The technique was designed for parrying or redirecting attacks, however, due to the damage on the branch already and the nature of the movements with the metal sword against the wooden tree branch, it would be entirely deasible for the branch to be cut in two.

This however, was no victory. There would be five remaining branches gunning for Jimarai after sheathing his sword, and he had no way to defend against them. He was resigned to his fate and the branches swept around both of his ankles, his left elbow, around his waist and neck. Not being one to quit however, with his free hand he would draw his kunai from his leg holster and point it towards the now charging Saigoto. Though the tables were turned in his favour, it could still be possible to disable his assailant. As for extricating himself, that was unlikely given Jimarai's lack of prowess with Katon jutsu. Something he intended to train during his Land of Tea mission.

Iaijutsu Stance [5]

Effect: Allows the use of Iaijutsu Forms.
Special: None
Drawbacks: None
Description: The practitioner moves into a bow stance, their main hand resting over the hilt of the sword without gripping it, and their offhand resting just under the hilt on the sheath; they stand slightly crouched, able to easily move to a kneeling of standing position for their forms.
Restrictions: Must have a Senpai/Sensei of a Kenjutsu Dojo to learn.

Reflex Training [10]
Rank: D, C and B Rank
Effect: D Rank - Improves evasive and deflection/blocking skill marginally. C Rank - Improves evasive and deflection/blocking skill slightly. B Rank - Improves evasive and deflection/blocking skill moderately
Special: None
Drawbacks: Cannot learn Quick Strike training.
Description: The practitioner is put through a series of rigorous repetitive movements to improve their ability to reflexively react to attacks by evading or deflecting/blocking with their sword. As they develop their training, their speed and reflexes slowly increase.
Restriction: Must have a Senpai/Sensei of a Kenjutsu Dojo to learn.


Mae (Front) [10]
Rank: D Rank
Effect: Deflects/blocks a weak (D Rank or less) frontal attack.
Special: None
Drawbacks: None
Description: Commencing from a kneeling position, the practitioner draws their sword to forestall a frontal attack as a simple defense then sheathes.
Restrictions: Must have a Senpai/Sensei of a Kenjutsu Dojo to learn; must have Reflex Training (D Rank) or Quick Strike Training (D Rank)


Pressure Jet [10]
Rank: D
Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: User shoots a stream of water towards the opponent.
Special: Handseals
Drawback: Easier to dodge at longer distances.
Description: A simple jutsu utilizing the water release. User performs the hand seals Snake, Dragon then transfers chakra to their throat, creating a steady stream of pressured water from their mouths, that then hits the opponent for D rank damage. The jet stream has a maximum range of 10 meters and travels in a straight line. Speed is equivalent to throwing a kunai.
Limit: Water Release.

[Saigoto]

As Saigoto charged the now partially bonded Kage he noted the water jutsu he had used. Genjutsu water release and obviously skilled with a sword. Saigoto reached for his scythe as he ran. As he pulled it to his side he began to swing the scythe in a circular rotation. The scythe would twirl threw the air as Saigoto began using both hands until all that would be seen is a giant black blur only catching glimpses of the scythe. Saigoto grinned as He saw the kages only free hand reach for his pouch. A kunai would be the weapon he would choose to grab. Saigoto brought the spinning scythe infront of him just incase the kage intended to throw it. This technique would easily be able to stop only a kunai. Saigoto would then jump high into the air. Keeping the spinning scythe between himself and Jim.

He would aim to land himself behind and to the left side of the kage. The hardest spot for the kage to throw the kunai and hit Saigoto. Saigoto would twirl the scythe around attempting to place the blade just above the vine around the kages neck. Saigoto grinned if this came threw he might actually win this. However the kage would maybe have something to say. "Still think Kysuugi could beat me" Saigoto would say with a slight anger in his voice and a grin on his face.

Fukyuu Karite "Immortal Reaper"

Skill: Taijutsu
Effect: Description
Special: —
Drawback: Defensive only, cannot defend against ninjutsu or taijutsu greater than the rank of Fukyuu Karite, which can never exceed the user's rank.
Description: The user rapidly spins the scythe, blocking a taijutsu or ninjutsu attack. If Fukyuu Karite is B rank, it deflects lower ranked attacks.
Limit: Must learn from a master of the Kamashi Fighting Style, Must have Kamashi Basic Stance, Must have Scythe, must be the same rank as Fukyuu Karite or higher if you wish to learn. Must be able to mold chakra to block ninjutsu.

[Jimarai Kotetsu]

He would now be coming in for the kill move. There was little to nothing that Jimarai could do now. With one hand free he could perform jutsu by linking it with the other, however his bindings restricted whatever jutsu he could perform. But this gave him an idea. Quickly putting the kunai between his teeth, he would see his Genin start a twirling scythe assault, leaping up with only moments until attack. with his right hand he would reach over to his bound left hand and quickly perform some ninjutsu.

A wave of Jimarai;s chakra would sweap out below him and instantly start to manipulate the stone beneath him. Like a liquid wall, the stone would raise about him, enveloping him. The raising cylindrical wall around him would hopefully create pressure on the branches themselves, snap them, and protect Jimarai from teh aerial assault that was about to bombard him..

If this however failed, then Saigoto's version of events would play out.

"Still think Kysuugi could beat me" Saigoto would confidently say from somewhere behind Jimarai.

"It would be an interesting fight, you've proven that much.

Daichi Kangoku No Jutsu (Earth Prison Technique) [10]
Rank: "D","C","B"
Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: Raises Earth in a circle radius around the person of the user's choice. It can have a maximum base diameter of 3 meters.
* User modification to jutsu: Instead of a cylindrical prison, it is spherical, making the enclosure more difficult to escape from by preventing being able to jump from wall to wall to the roof.
Special: Hanseals, Hold Rabbit
Drawback: The earth prison is not closed at the top, so it is possible for the victim to escape.
Description: Earth rises up around the targeted person quickly to a maximum height of 10 feet, trapping them inside. At D rank this technique is little more then a distraction or simple defense, only able to absorb a simple "D" ranked attack before it crumbles. Only the part that is attacked will collapse, unless the structural integrity of the entire prison is compromised. At C rank it becomes much harder and resists attacks better, but with persistence victim can break free (1 C rank). At B rank the prison is extremely hard and thick, made of solid rock. It is very difficult to break and will reflect most ninjutsu techniques back upon the victim. Although this attack is only B ranked, its is extremely tough and will stand up to most jutsu, including all B ranked techniques. Piercing jutsu will be most effective in breaking the wall.
Limit: Earth release, C rank requires rock creation "C", B rank requires rock creation "B".

[Saigoto]

((You sure lol. I feel honestly Like I shouldnt win for two reasons one you pretty much let yourself get caught by giving me a huge opening and secondly I feel Like I shouldnt win because your the kage and I am your student. I wanna call it a tie. If you want break a vine or two more with a technique and put a blade or something to my throat Ill have my scythe at yours and youll have your sword or something at mine we can call it a tie cause lets face it in all honesty if you were fighting to kill I would have been dead lol.))

[Jimarai Kotetsu]

(( Nah its ok. We'll call it a tie. True I did basically let you attack, but the fact that you as my student beat me is nothing. You have the Wood Release, which is quite rare, not many have it, and its quite strong if you can't fight it. Had I learned Katon I could have defended against it, but I haven't, so thats my failing. We'll call it a tie. You did fight well in the end. Just try not to rely on your Taijutsu weapon combat, use that as secondary, or like you did there, in conjunction with your ninjutsu. For me, I use Gen, then Nin, then if I need to, Tai.))

[Saigoto]

((problem is at the moment I have very little ninjutsu and genjutsu to lean on. Something I was hopeing to learn after I mastered or got quite a bit of tp into my scythe.))


"It would be an interesting fight, youve proven that much" The kage said. This calmed Saigoto down signifigantly. Saigoto relaxed and pulled his scythe away from the kages neck. Then With a few quick swings of the scythe he would cut the branchs still wrapped around the kage at their base. The branches would fall harmlessly to the ground. Saigoto felt realived. In a sense he felt like he won but at the same time he could tell the kage wasnt going full strength either. If need be or if this was a real fight saigoto would not have gotten away from the kunai with the tag wrapped around it. Plopping to the ground on his butt laying his scythe there next to where he was now sitting Saigoto was smiling.

"Tie" Saigoto said almost as if questioning to see if the kage would agree. Saigoto thought he had faught well but he still had much to learn.
