Welcome ladies and gentlemen, role-players of all ethnics, cultures and ages who have come to the great site of Naruto Forum Role-play. Here you are invited to celebrate through a fun loving contest for the upcoming holiday (Mostly celebrated in the United States) called Thanksgiving.

The contest is simple. We ask everyone to post what you are thankful for this Thanksgiving. What do you appreciate here and now? What are you happy about? What makes you feel alive and bliss? Yes this is a simple contest, however we do ask you to post in a more "artistic" way. What does this mean? Well write it in a poem, tell us a story, make a video response, or even post an audio blog. The choice and creativity is yours.

The rules:

• All Posts must be posted by the end of 1st of December Eastern Time Zone.
  
• Nothing obscene or demoralizing. (Example: Can't be thankful someone isn't on the site.)
  
• Must follow the basic Site Rules. (Example: No Porn)
  
• Has to be artistic or it will be removed.
  
• Beginning December 2nd Eastern Time Zone a voting process will take place for 3 days and will finish at the end of December 5th Eastern Time Zone.

I am thankful for the cloths on my back. The home over my head. The ability to speak, touch, see, and feel. I am grateful that such places exist where I can relieve stress from my body and in doing so I am also thankful for my friends and family. Most of all I am thankful for the ones I love, whether they are dead, living, friends, or family. Due to them I am grateful for all of them.

The Desire to be Thankful

Sitting in the canoe, on the restful muddy water below me, I think of all the things that I’m thankful for this Thanksgiving. Oh those the most important came to mind in just a short moment, and it was of course myself. From that scared little kid a year ago I had come far, overcoming any problem that I had. More than anything I was thankful for myself being that strong, and I saw a duck flock away from the metal vehicle as it pushed up against the shore. I was looking up into the sky as the air softly blew my hair back. I was thankful for many other things, family and friends, but few of those affected me as much as I had affected myself.

Still, even on days of thankfulness there was something I wanted, and this was brought on by the onset of those people who thanked God for their loved ones. I wanted someone to be thankful for, other than myself. Having many friends to hang out with I was glad that I had done so well, but I really felt no love toward any of them. Wanting a type of special love was just something I wanted more than anything. Getting out of the canoe I stumbled over to the bench and rested on it as well and drifted off into sleep.

Awakening it was starting to get dark, and I looked out over the water as the sun was beginning to set. Checking my phone I saw that a girl had asked me if I wanted to meet her tonight. I said yes. I was thankful for her words. I told myself that by this time next year I wouldn’t only be thankful for my own strength and beauty. Taking one last look at the water I turned and started to walk away. And I am thankful for the lake, I thought. So thankful.

I Am Thankful

A gist of the pics:

1) I'm thankful for my boyfriend: Even though he's an idiot ♥ He's still my idiot. I'm also thankful that he understands and loves how geeky I am ♥

2) I'm thankful for my Best Friend: Ashley. Who's there through thick and thin. We've fought but nothing could last for long. Her support and mothering helps keep me from overworking myself and she always reminds me to have fun!

3) I'm thankful for my 'sister': Who defends me against everyone, just in case I need back up. (Even though for some reason people can't tell us apart!)

4) I'm thankful for my godson: Even though his dad is in a mood, he always makes me smile. I'd do anything for that kid. Also if it was not for him I wouldn't have gotten to meet my boy friend. I owe that kid a trip to disney one day ♥

On the note of 2 and 3: I'm thankful that we all work together, so we always have someone to rely on at work. And we always have fun. These girls work harder than most of our managers because they care <3

I really don't have anything special to be thankful for like the rest of you. I'm just thankful for a full belly and a warm bed at the end of the day.

Today I type this to win the contest of being thankful:

I have so much fucking trouble processing thought. I feel like I`m about to faint due to pain and stress in my back. My body is so tired of what it went through it at times refuses to even do anything until my conscience gives in. As I sit here on this chair it`s so difficult to straighten my back it even forces me to bend and curve out my back. The only way I feel better is if I lay down on the bed facing up. Feeling the area that causing so much pain transporting my heart in the center of it. Making it pump so hard that the blood flow lifts my body with every beat. I honestly can`t even sit with a chair with no support for over 15 minutes or else the uncomfort comes back (real muse killer).

Months ago:

I am so exhausted to the extent due to being not able to sleep do to constant negative hallucinations from a related disorder. It was like my whole body had a mind of its own. I felt so much anger, fright, sadness, and negative or bad emotion you can think of. Even from certain actions, abandoned, alone, hated, any thing that one could possibly feel. It was like someone had gave me a shot of powerful concentrated chemicals that made my body feel and react in those ways. Like jumping at least 5 inches off of my seat when someone says “boo”, something that I consciencely find idiotic and not scary at all.

I day dream about drowning a person I love even though I wouldn`t do such a thing. I feel like murdering that person even though I do not wish for it or even consciencely want. At times my body controls itself toward certain actions. My arms and hands goes straight for my throat and I desperetly try to control them to prevent choking. Other times I constantly think about all the most brutal ways to die from my own hands. It wasn`t simply imagining myself being hit by a bus. It was so detailed and so in depth that you would very easily fall for it being your own conscience thoughts. I didn`t wanted that and I try so many things to change my attention. At other times, both the thoughts and the uncontrollable actions of suicide happens at the same time. I was so unaware what was going on, I kept trying to consciencely stop any non-sense and to demand my will.

And again I say that I am very thankful for what had happened to me which needs to happen so I can be healed all the way. As you can see, right now I may not be 100 percent but I am a lot better than I was months ago.

I was going to participate into this, however I'm unable to at this time. I couldn't get what I wanted done. Anyways since I couldn't get it done and since Kurenai is taking an extensive break I'll be finishing this off.
