Aimi stood alone in a lush green sea, the waves breaking upon him where he stood as if cohersing him into falling over and surrendering to the void beneath, to drown forever in the botomless depths beneath his feet. That would have been nice, and it was a nice foma as well. The grass for which this country was famous for came all the way up to his wrists, their many thin lips showing him the respect of old by kissing his hands here and there. It was nice, very nice. Aimi took in the clean air through his nostrils with his eyes closed, nice, very nice. He looked up at the deep blue sky with the few clouds drifting past here and there, nice, very nice. All was calm and peaceful in the world, but not everywhere in the world. Aimi wasn't fool enough to think that everywhere was as peaceful as this place, and that sadened him. It was because the world was not at peace that he had chosen to become a ninja, so that he could one day have the power to do something about it. He had been working towards that goal for a while, but had yet to take an actual first step towards it. Three times he had tried taking the chunin exams in the past, all three times he had failed. His first time he hadn't gotten past the second course, he had been foolish and had used his kekkei genkkei far too much, he had to be taken out of hte competition because he could hardly move. His second time he had advanced to the third portion of the exams, but because he was too exhausted to fight, he had almost immedeately been taken out of the exams. Again had he overused his kekkei genkkei and could not go on, lest he would have died. His third time around was little better than the second, the only difference was that he had begun to fight but then had convulsed with pain, and thus was unable to continue.
The next chunin exams wer a little less than four months away, and this time around he was determined to become a chunin. He realized his mistakes were in that he was relying on his kekkei genkkei too much, and thus was putting himself in harms way rather than in the way of his zah-mah-ki-bo, his inevitable and unavoidable destiny, fate. To do this, he was going to learn more jutsu that didn't revolve around his kekkei genkkei. He was a lightning style user, his techniques were powerful and prescise, so he's been told. The truth was he had never used a lightning based jutsu in his life, and thus he didn't know how adept he was at them. In fact, the only reason he knew he was a lightning style used was because of the paper test they had given everyone during academy training. He hadn't yet bothered to learn any lightning jutsus though. Maybe he was lazy, maybe he wasn't looking at it all in the right light; Aimi liked to thing that it wasn't his time, that his zah-mah-ki-bo wasn't ready for such jutsus. Now, he felt it was time.
However, that was not the reason he had come her this day. True, he needed some lightning based jutsu in his arsenal so that he might actually stand a chance at becoming a chunin the fourth time around, he was here today to train no with lightning but with bone, as it had been explained to him by his father. His father had taught him many things while he was alive about their heritage and their elegance and dominance in battle. But what he had taught him about most in life were his family's dances. Said to be something of pure grace and stability, his father had explained that the Kaguya were famous for 'dancing' during battle. Of course, what he really meant was the intricate and elagant way in which his people fought using their bones. His father had simply called the art beautiful, despite the fake that it was one of the deadliest forms of taijutsu ever created. His father had never shown him how to perform the dance, but he had described it in great detail to him many times, emphasizing on it's beauty more than anything.
He called it, "The Dance of Willows", and this was why he was here on that day. He would not learn many more of his kekkei genkkei's ways during the four months until the chunin exams, but what he wanted in this, the Dance of Willows, was an ace up his sleeve for when he was either low on chakra, unable to use his lightning ninjutsu, or in a close enough range to someone that he could finish them that way. The way his father had described it, it was in fact a difficult thing to master or even do for that matter, sounding much more difficult than most any lightning based jutsu he had heard of before. The way he saw it, he might as well get the most difficult jutsu out of the way early so that the others would seem easy by comparison. Aimi took in another deep breath of the air and brought his face back down to earth. It was time that he began.
Yanagi no Mai (Dance of the Willows)
Rank: "C" Rank
Skill: TaiJutsu
Effect: A TaiJutsu technique dedicated to the arts of moving fluently to attack multiple ranges around using fluent motions while using two concentrated features along their arms as primary weapons.
Special: ---
Drawback: As long as the bones are within the very palms, it slowly begins to take the effect of the Disease as it is needed in order to keep the arm from becoming weak, and then failing.
Description: Extending from both palms are two lance-like bone protrusions, usually around 1-1.3 meters in length, which is a little smaller than a typical katana. It takes quite a bit of balance to even begin with this graceful dance of death, for each attack is a graceful dancer-esque motion, flowing like water between each motion. As such, this very dance is quite flexible, allowing for a large range of motion from strike to strike. Thus, it is indeed possible to flow from strike to strike, or instantly change up how one would have struck before, within the motions of the arm of the human body of course. Due to this nature, it is most effective when used to battle groups or swarms of enemies, as it makes it much easier to create a perfectly harmonic balance of attack and defense. This is known as the First Dance of the Kaguya. With this dance, one is able to strike 4 different directions within 1 movement (2 with each hand). They may not concentrate the strike on one area, but will spread the strikes about them to multiple targets.
Limit: Kaguya Bloodlimit, Must know Bone Pulling
