[Riku Tadami (Sage)]

"Last time we were training we were working on your reflexes, lets try that again.", reminded Kushina to Riku. Kushina unsheathed one of his many blades. Even a master who had lots of experience and expertise still got excited when he was training with his blade. Riku could tell from the small smile on his face. Kushina took his blade out and waited for Riku to do the same. Riku brought out his 4 foot blade then went into the defensive Iaijutsu Stance. His right hand rested over the hilt of his sword without gripping it and left rested under the hilt of his sheath. He stood slightly crouched and kept going in and out of that position, trying to get used to it. "You ready?, asked Kushina in a voice that sounded intimidating. "Yeah", he retorted.

Kushina lifted his sword pretty slowly trying to get Riku ready for the onslaught of slashes. The sword was wooden and dull, so nobody would get hurt or injured. Kushina thrusted his blade straight forward at Riku, aiing for his stomach. Riku had gone really bad with handling a sword so he dodge pathetically by diving to his right onto the floor. When Riku turned his face to his sempai, another attack with the dull, wooden blade was coming for him. He rolled further to the right, the when out of the reach of the sword of his master he got up on his two feet. Kushina went closer to his student with a unpleased expression. He was expecting his to perform better than this. Kushina struck Riku's left knee with the flat edge of the blade. Riku failed to dodge and he fell the the floor. Kushina's head shook signaling disappointment.

"C'mon boy! You can do better than that. Don't tell me I have to teach you all the way from the begining." The genin ninja was now feeling very guilty. It was totally his own fault for not keeping up with practice. "I can do better.", he said in a determined way. "You better....", said Kushina in a very harsh way. Kushina went into a stance that showed he was ready to strike Riku. To his surprise, Riku was already in a position to receive hits, showing that he was really willing to get better. Kushina went straight for his pupil. His wooden blade aimed for Riku's clavicle and shoulder. Riku turned to his side and managed to dodge the first attack. His master then aimed to hit the young boy's theigh. Riku was almost hit, but managed to move it out of the way. Master Kushina was going very easy with Riku. Riku would have to do better to impress his sensei. Kushina struck his student in the ankle and he fell to the floor. Riku's performance was much, much better than his previous attempt.

"Better, but not impressive. Try again!", said Kushina. Master Kushina had never been so harsh on Riku before. He must have been angered by Riku's bad performance.

[/i]"[/color]Master Kushina had made it clear that Riku did better but, was not pleased. Riku backed up from his master then went into a proper stance needed for taking and dodging attacks. Kushina's blade was ready, then they started all over again. Kushina rushed the rather tall boy for his age as he made it unclear where he would strike by skillfully rotated the blade and switched the hand that held the blade several times, this scared Riku. Good thing it was just wooden. Riku shrugged off his slight fear then said, I got this!" Master Kushina quickly thrusted the blade for Riku's arm, but the boy skillfully turned to the side , now his front side was facing the blade. Kushina mooved the blade to his right, bringing the blade closer to Riku to land a strike. Riku jumped up high like how any ninja would. Master Kushina let him go an waited for him to come back down. Right when the boy landed Kushina struck low, hitting where his ankle and feet met and made him fall down.

"You still need to work on your footwork. You need to be able to dodge low shots and related attacks. Got it?" Got it![/color], sternly said the Kenjutsu master. "Got it!", replied Riku. Riku was now feeling very pumped and energized. He had a feelinhg he was going to perform greatly. Kushina's blade was ready, firmly gripped with his hands on the hilt. Riku was holding his blade the whole time, but didn't seem to use it for dodging yet. Kushina ran forward to the young ninja in training once again. Kushina looked intimidating to Riku, when he really wasn't this was just the afraid feeling of Riku to fail. He really want to impress. Kushina attempted to strike Riku's left foot with great force. Riku pulled back avoiding that strike. Kushina tried out the samething only with the opposite foot. The student managed to dodge that as well. Kushina kept doing the same attack aiming for Riku's feet with more and more speed and force with the next after the next. Riku kept dodging it with the same style. Kushina eventually backed his student against the wall of the training dojo. "O, no", thought Riku. Kushina's blade was now heading for a strike across the boy's chest. Riku froze for a moment. Riku immediately went to his side with one on hand on the floor along with one foot. His other two limbs were in the air as he transitioned the rest of his body to the side. He managed to dodge all the attacks of his teacher so far, even when he was cornered! "Good job kid, so far you've done great!", complimented Master Kushina. Kushina rushed to his pupil letting no time go by to let Riku recover. There were some quick attacks on Riku that were either blocked or dodged. He was now pretty skillful at taking hits. He felt proud of himself. After lots of mid-body attacks on Riku, Master Kushina tried a different approach, low. Riku still managed to block . This training was getting pretty intense. If someone were to dodge they would have believed that the two were fighting. Kushina tried for an attack for Riku's shoulder, in-between his neck and shoulder. Riku avoided by bringing his shoulder in while side stepping. Not only did he dodge, but he went for an attack. Kushina disarmed his student without hurting him. "Na-uh, you were only dodging. Description:The user focuses their chakra to their feet. Then they are able to adjust thier body and weight to the winds current. After that they push their chakra to the back to of their feet in the direction they want to travel.

The hot summer heat was lovely to Riku. Not only that, but there was a nice breeze in the air. Warm and humid as summer was supposed to be. Riku was lying down on his back on the grass. His arms were stretched out and there was nothing much to do. He looked straight into the blue, cloudless, sky the thought, "It would be nice to fly...."

Riku got up the remebered, "It is possible, there are no limits to the power of chakra!" Riku had a book at home on each of the elements. In fuuton he remembered a technique called the "Wind Surf". Riku was determined in learning it so he got right to training. Riku breathed in the nice summer air then exhaled. He was preparing himself for the fuuton jutsu. Riku clasped his hands together and then held the Rabbit seal. He gathered and accumulated the fuuton chakra within him to the center of his body. He sent the chakra down to the soles of his feet. Nothing had happened. Riku decided to push even more chakra down to his soles, but everything remained the same. Riku forced even more chakra down there and finally he lifted up a bit. Barely, he was only in the air by an inch and also he was using way too much chakra for such a result. Not only that, but it was hard to maintain that height. In no time Riku back down to his feet. "What am I doing wrong?", wondered Riku.

Riku was frustrated with his result. He used up so much chakra and he barely even flew. The technique was a C-rank one so it shouldn't require the chakra amount Riku was using. Now Riku was just confused. He knew that it was just something he was doing wrong. Not that the technique would use so much energy. With this, he started over. Riku immediately put his hands together then held the Rabbit seal. He gathered his chakra together in the middle of his body once again. This time he was more determined than the last. He rushed his chakra sown his legs, where it finally arrived at his feet. He moved the chakra to the bottom of his feet, his soles. Riku knew that simply putting chakra under his feet would barely make him fly. Riku thought for a moment then a brilliant idea came to his mind. "Why don't I absorb my weight with the chakra and make myself lighter?", he thought.

Riku decided to make his fuuton chakra absorb his weight to make him lighter so he would be able to "air surf". The young ninja attempted to suck in his weight with the chakra below his feet. His weight was sucked into his chakra and he became lighter. "Wow, this is cool!" thought Riku. Not long after doing this, he began to float. He was about 2 feet into the air. Riku know wanted to see how he moved around with it. He forced more chakra to his feet and he began to move. Although, he was moving he was going very slowly. Despite that Riku was still excited that he was flying. Riku flew around doing free style movements, you could say he was cruising. After a while of randomly flying around he flew around in a figure eight. The young boy was really having a good time. He was acting way younger than his age, but no one can blame him for being excited that he was actually flying. After about ten minutes Riku said to himself, "This in nothing, I am only two feet in the air and I'm going very slowly. I can do way better."

Riku stopped the chakra supply to his feet and he came back down to earth. Riku didn't try especially hard on absorbing his weight with his chakra. He knew he could make himself lighter. Like before he put his hands together without delay because he was excited to learn more. Riku held the Rabbit handseal like a pro and assembled fuuton chakra in the center of his body. The life energy was thick was ready to use for the technique. Riku accelerated the chakra down his legs to his feet. This movement was now like a calling to him. He moved the chakra to the bottom of his feet. Now it was down to absorbing his weight. Riku pushed his weight down to the bottom of his feet with the power of chakra. He became lighter, and lighter. Soon, within a few moments he was floating again, bu this time five feet higher. He was seven feet into the air!

Riku was seven feet in the air. He knew he could do better than that. He felt like he could even double it. The ebony skinned boy canceled the chakra supply to his feet then he fell immediately to the floor. If he wasn't a ninja, that sudden drop could have been dangerous. He would certainly have to work on a way how to land. Without further stalling, he went back to the technique by holding the Rabbit seal. The chakra in the center of his body accumulated together and thickened. He remembered to chose from the fuuton element. The young ninja sent it down to his feet and he began to float. He was only two feet in the air. He now decided to absorb the weight from the rest of his body. He was becoming lighter and lighter. As he was getting lighter and lighter he float higher and higher. Now, he was only one foot higher than his previous attempt, only at eight feet. Riku knew there was one thing to do, boost the chakra amount. Riku added more life energy in the technique. It was equivalent to the amount he was currently using. The boy flew straight up in the air. He was now approximately fifteen feet in the air.

"Hell Yeah!", shouted the young boy. He had reached a height he was happy with. Now he needed to learn how to land. He canceled the chakra circulation to his feet and once again, he fell to the floor again. "Time to find a way to properly land.", thought Riku. He got his two large hands together and held the Rabbit seal. The shinobi gathered chakra together in the center of his body like any other person would when performing a technique. When it was enough he rushed the fuuton energy down to his feet. Before long he was floating in the ear. The chakra he inputted in the technique was enough so he wouldn't have to add more later for more height. While adding chakra to his feet, he was absorbing his body weight in one fluid motion. This avoided rigid chakra movements and decreased time usage. Within no time he was fifteen feet in the air once again. Now, he needed to learn how to get down without just dropping from the sky. A smart idea came into the mind of Riku, to gradually cut the chakra flow to his feet and make himself heavy again. He did just so, and he came down to the floor with a nice soft, sort of cushiony, landing.

Last, but the most fun part of this technique was now to learn how to move around with the technique. Earlier, Riku moved with the jutsu, but it was way to slow. Back then he didn't absorb his weight though. Like all the times before he held the Rabbit seal. It was one he wasn't used to holding so long or so many times, but now it felt like a second nature to him. Fuuton chakra that was amalgamated in the center of his stomach was accelerated down to his feet. He was lifted of the ground, while at the same time the chakra within his feet was absorbing his weight. He was rising higher in the air. When the boy was accelerated in the air he decided to push the chakra to the back of his feet, his heels. He went straight ahead. Then he moved the chakra to the left of the heel. He went to the right in a circular motion. Then he did vice versa. "I got this!", hollered the ninja in training. He landed gently like how learned to do then lied down on the floor, ready for a nice rest.

After a nice rest Riku recapped his "Wind Surf" training. He then thought he could do better. He had learned all the basic parts of the techniques but he hadn't learned how to maneuver. The young boy got himself up and was ready for more.

Riku immediately held the put his hands together and held the Rabbit seal. Chakra accumulated in his stomach and became dense there. The young ninja transitioned the general life energy into fuuton chakra. From there, he rushed it down to his feet. While chakra was filling up in his feet, he used that same aura to absorb his body weight to make himself lighter for the technique. The boy began to float in the air and it seemed effortlessly. He moved the chakra to the back of his feet, his heel then he put it in the left of it. Now he was heading right. The technique's style of movement was just like one of a boat propeller. He was heading straight for a tree. The wind current was also in Riku's favor, making him travel even faster. Now Riku had to maneuver correctly or he would get hit by the tree. The ebony boy's stance was just like a person who surfs.

When he got close enough to the tree he moved the chakra that was on the left side of his heel to the right. He went to right and dodged the tree and came back around it ending up behind it. If he was going straight and there was no tree, he would be in the same spot. "Now I know I got this", said the young man. Another technique would be added to his arsenal. He slowly canceled the chakra extra chakra flow to his feet and he had a soft landing that felt like landing on a cushion.

Katon Hidora no Jutsu (Fire - Hydra Technique)

Effect: A technique in which the user takes the concept of Ryuuka but is capable of using it more of a destructive manner and more of a diverse manner. Instead of one large dragon like form being shot forth towards the opponent, the user is capable of increasing the amount of them into an amount of three draconic creations with similar devastation.

Drawback: They are only capable of going in a straight line. Projectory may not change directions.
Description: A Large creation is created as the user performs the necessary handseals for the technique. As the user does, so they raise their hand up over their mouth. By taking in a deep, breathe the user fills their lungs with chakra to in, which ignites the moment they blow the air out. As the user blows out the creation of fire is made taking the form of a giant dragon like creature. The Dragon is quickly hurled towards the opponent as the dragon swivels and swerves moving like that of a Chinese Dragon. Then without notice or movement the large dragon splits into three smaller sized forms of dragons as they twist and turn around one another heading towards the intended target. This technique is used to where the user is capable of controlling each dragon to hit at different times. This means that each draconic form of fire may be one after the other before hitting the initial target. The user is capable of pushing so much power into the technique to where when it touches the target it is needed it is ignited in a mass blaze of glory, creating a grand explosion for each form.
Limit: Must have the Fire Release, must know Katon - Ryuuka no Jutsu (Dragon Fire Technique)

After a well deserved rest at home Riku came back to his secret training place in the woods. The boy was ready for a tougher training session, one that would allow him to learn a Katon jutsu. Riku had learned many jutsus, but not many up to the B-rank level. Plus, this was going to be in Katon. He barely ever trained in fire jutsus and had grown quite rusty at them. This was going to definetly be a difficult jutsu to train in. Although it was going to be hard, Riku liked new challenges.

Riku inhaled the fall air then exhaled. He knew that it would take a lot of effort to learn the jutsu. First he had to plan out the sequence of how he was going to perform the technique. He would have to understand how it worked and begin to plan it out. If he didn't it would be harder to learn such a complex move and be almost pointless. In his head, he began to think about the technique and tried to break it down. He shifted the gears in his brain, trying to learn the order of the jutsu.

The first thing to do was to think out the jutsu, which was what he was currently doing. The second was to breath in and infuse Katon life energy with the breath he takes in and make a fire Dragon that swivels and swerves. Riku never really had trouble thiking of his training, but he knew that this jutsu had to be precise for it to work. It would have to have a face of a Dragon with fangs and sharp looking eyes.It was very complicated and was probably way easier than it sounded, especially since Riku was feeling very confident in himself. After making the actual dragon he had to make it have the ability to split into three smaller versions and explode into a blazing glory on contact with the target. The expolsion was the most important part because it caused most of the damage.

After trying the technique he would have to go and do the needed review. If the dragon didn't split into three or if it just looked like open flames, he would have to go back and make everything perfect to the point. Then, after all the kinks were sorted out and fixed, he could start to test out the technique fully, and find ways to use it in real scenario.

Riku grinned. He had realized he was a very skillful person.

Now that Riku Tadami had planned out the process of his jutsu he decided to try the first step of the jutsu, the fusion with his Katon energy and oxygen he inhaled. He knew that it would take a good amount of chakra to get such a large dragon and to even make it spark with air. This amount of chakra would make the dragon intimidating and deal out lots of damage. He also knew however, he would have to make the Dragon to have the ability to swivel and shake a bit which would be hard with this amount of life energy. The spine of the Dragon had to move like a carpet being spread out. The fact that it was fire made it even harder. Imagining a snake's body and movement, he got solid ideas from it.

The spine, he decided, would be used with less dense chakra, making it weaker and more flexible. However, the head would be used with the strongest part of his Katon chakra. Everything else would be used with the strongest amount of Katon energy he could use and make it extremely dense because that would be the part that would attack enemies first and deal the most damage.

The young ebony skinned boy started up the handseals. He did all of them perfectly without any hesitation or pause. He inhaled air with his mouth and Katon energy from the center of his body began to stimulate. He fused the chakra from his body with the air in his mouth. Now he had to mold the chakra into shape so it could be a dragon. He put most of the chakra in the front of his mouth and that was definetly the more dense part. There wasn't nearly as much in the back, compared to the front. He had gotten the chakra distribution right so far. At least that was what he thought.

For the spine, there was way less chakra than the front so it was easier to mold. He molded the chakra so that it would swerve and swivel when he spat out the intense amount of fire. The neck and spine was like one big noodle which had many curves in it. He had his imagination to help him out. The ninja in training imagined a snake moving. It had moved side to side, with the head on the opposite side of the mid body. The ending, or tail, was on the same side as the head. It was basically the shape of an "M".

When Riku was done with the body of the dragon he had almost forgotten all about the dragon's face. The boy's concentration went back to the head of the dragon. Riku hadn't carved out the dragon's facial features. This was an important part of the technique because it placed fear into the opponent and it was the part that was going to hit the target first. First, he did the horns. He made them pointed and face outwards, similar to a bull and ox. Next came the eyes. Riku was in such a rush, that he didn't make the beast look very sharp looking. The Dragon didn't have the small pupil reptiles usually have and it's eyes were quite large. Last was the nose and fangs. The nose of a dragon was also the top of it's mouth. Riku made it's nostrils very large and wide apart. So far it was a pretty ugly looking dragon, but Riku couldn't see because he hadn't spat it out. The fangs were another one of Riku's fails. The teeth of the dragon was quite dull, and closer to a human's than to a lizard.

Riku exhaled the beast formed in his mouth and it ignited into fire the moment it touched air. The spine and neck of the dragon died out because there was barely any chakra on their ends and the head was simply ugly and not powerful enough. The shook his head in disappointment, but was not ready to give up.

The user is capable of pushing so much power into the technique to where when it touches the target it is needed it is ignited in a mass blaze of glory, creating a grand explosion for each form.

Riku had failed horribly when trying to attempt the technique previously. The neck and spine of the jutsu had died out when he spat the flaming dragon out. Not only that, but the head of the beast was quite ugly looking. It was pretty dull and the sheer power wasn't near to his expectations. Although he performed badly Riku wasn't giving up at all. If he learned the technique, it would be one of the ebony skinned boy's stronger ones. He really wanted to learn it because it would impress his "Know-It-All" sister and be a good jutsu to put in his arsenal.

Riku clasped his hands together and did a fast flurry of handseals. He inhaled a great amount of the fall air once again. His fire chakra broiled within him as it came up to fuse with the air in his mouth. Riku had promised himself that he would do better, so he had to improve at least a bit. He brought up more chakra than the time before so the spine wouldn't die out. He decided to start with the spine and neck. He started out with making a straight cylinder, nothing complicated. He had to imagine a moving snake like before. A visual example helps a lot. The formed the spine with more life energy so it was more dense, but not too dense. He made it's spine swivel and swerve like related reptiles. It was like an "M", but more improved and curved.

He now moved on to the dragon's head. He started it out as a big round sphere. Basic to advanced was now his strategy. The head had more chakra then before as well. It was the main part of the attack to the opponent and would do the most damage, while intimidating them with a scary face. Riku had to remember his mistakes in order to improve. He started with the eyes. Before, they were too large. This time he decided to make it smaller. The pupils needed to look sharp and make it intimidating so he made them thin and very dark just like how a reptile should be. Next was the nose and fangs. Just like the eyes, the nose was too large. This time he needed to to minimize it. He made the nostrils smaller and the nose tip of the nose sharper. This way it was more aerodynamic.

Riku went to further fix the dragon jutsu. The dark skinned boy was still on the head. Now he had to do mold the beast's mouth. Since the nose would be the roof of the mouth, he had to make the shape equivalent to the nose for it to look right. He had made the nose pretty sharp so he had to do the same to the nose. Riku went right down to business. He made the mouth's shape nice and sharp. Now he had to do the fangs. Instead of making them like a human's he made them like a reptile's, the way he was supposed to do. The teeth were sharp and very intimidating. Last, but definitely not least were the horns. They were also very important to the attack. Not only could they be used for attack, they were very subduing. The previous attempt they were made upright and made the attack look more like a cattle animal made from flames. This time he tilted them down and made the points face the back. This way, it was more aerodynamic. Not only this, but it was sharper.

Riku had thought he was done. The head was perfect and he was sure the spine wouldn't die out this time. Suddenly Riku had a new idea. He should add scales on the spine for extra speed on the dragon, due to even more aerodynamics. He added just a bit more chakra to the technique for the extra scales. He made sure to make them sharp. If they weren't sharp, there would be no point in having them. They would actually slow the thing down. Now, Riku's dragon was complete. Riku exhaled the dragon. It came out perfect. In the air, it swerved like a Chinese Dragon. The speed was way faster, thanks to all the modifications Riku made. It landed on the floor of the grassy plain and it set off into flames. The force was satisfying to Riku. It didn't explode into a flaming glory, but Riku still needed to train a good amount more for the jutsu.

Katon Hidora no Jutsu (Fire - Hydra Technique)

Effect: A technique in which the user takes the concept of Ryuuka but is capable of using it more of a destructive manner and more of a diverse manner. Instead of one large dragon like form being shot forth towards the opponent, the user is capable of increasing the amount of them into an amount of three draconic creations with similar devastation.
Special: "Handseals"
Drawback: They are only capable of going in a straight line. Projectory may not change directions.
Description: A Large creation is created as the user performs the necessary handseals for the technique. As the user does, so they raise their hand up over their mouth. By taking in a deep, breathe the user fills their lungs with chakra to in, which ignites the moment they blow the air out. As the user blows out the creation of fire is made taking the form of a giant dragon like creature. Now that Riku had successfully made one dragon perfectly, now he needed to make one have the ability to split into three. He was feeling pretty confident since he had aced the part he just tried. It would be a far greater challenge for Riku to make three dragons explode into a balze of glory, but he was up for it. Now that the boy was near mastering the jutsu, he must be careful and not try to get too excited.

Without any stalling Riku went straight to the handseals. He formed each and everyone like a pro without being tense or hesitation. He inhaled air through his mouth. This air was going to be used for mixing up the chakra. Katon chakra from the center of his body accumulated together the shot up to his mouth. Now it was time for molding. He moved the chakra-air combination in his mouth a bit before he actually started. Just as usual, he started with the spine of the beast. He started simple with a cylinder then made a complicated and beautiful snake like body. It was fully capable of swerving like protocol called for. Next he did the head by starting with a basic sphere. It was packed with more chakra than the spine because of offensive reasons. It had good facial features. Sharp eyes, reminiscing horns, dangerous teeth, and etc.

Riku moved on back to the spine of the beast by adding some scales that went on throughout the back of the dragon. The scales he added were noticeably bigger than the rest and purposely placed in the center of the dragon. It was the best way to add speed for impact and making it more aerodynamic. Riku decided to add some arms to the dragon. The arms weren't very big or proportional to the body, like one of a Tyranosourus-Rex. On the fingers of the dragon were sharp claws that were perfect for slashing. Rku doubted he would use the arms of the dragon, but like a lot of things it was used to put fear in the opponent.

The young shinobi in training went back to the main body of the dragon. He had to pack extra chakra in it's body so it would have the ability to split into three dragons with all the same amount of destructive power. Riku tugged out some more of his life energy. Riku had lots of stamina because he had used a lot of chakra throughout the day. The dragon became bigger in general, all around it's body. To be exact, it became three times bigger. Things seemed to be going Riku's way. Since the beast became larger, Riku decided to add more scales on to it's body so it can carry the extra size. The damage of three dragons were now currently held all in one. There was now only one thing to do. Turn on the full explosive potential of fire.

Riku now had to do the most important part. Make it explode. The whole dragon was used with a fusion of fire and air. Now Riku was going to put on a coat of all natural fire energy. No fusions. That was surely explosive. Riku brought up another round of Katon chakra and he didn't mix it with the rest of the jutsu. He put it around the mixture, so when he spat the dragon out, it would explode on contact. He spat out the beast with a little feeling of relief. One huge Dragon came out. It was really a magnificent sight to see. At it's midpoint in the air, it split into three smaller versions, the same size as what he used to make before. They all landed on the floor and exploded with a big "Boom." Anyone in the surrounding areas would have heard it. Riku was feeling very proud of himself.
