Kikaichu Tracking (Destruction Bug Tracking)
Rank: D
Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: Allows the user to find a female kikaichu by covering it in a small amount of chakra and sending it towards an opponent. The kikaichu will land and remain motionless while emitting a scent that the male kikaichu can smell as well as allowing the user to understand the location through the chakra.
Special: Tiger handseal to cover the bug in chakra; then launching the bug at the opponent without their knowledge.
Drawback: If the opponent discovers the bug, they can remove it, giving off a false information to the person using it as a tracking device.
Description: The user performs the Tiger handseal to cover the female kikaichu in chakra. The bug then flies off towards the opponent, moving stealthily to avoid detection. It is very small and difficult to see. Once it has landed on the opponent, the user can use both the chakra and the scent that it excretes to the males of its kind to allow the user to always be able to track the opponent.
Limit: Kikaichu no Jutsu

Gin walked slowly, feeling no reason at all to rush. He stopped directly in front of the lake, taking in the view and feeling the light breeze on his scaled skin. The breeze caused the many trees around the lake to sway gently, as well as the small bushes that were littered around the area. The sun was high in the midday sky, and even though the light clouds fluttered in front of it for brief moments, the heat was still strong enough for Gin to enjoy it on his exposed scales. His tail, which usually showcased his emotions, was still and calm, hidden well underneath his robes. The bugs that dwelled inside his body were calm as well, feeding lightly on his chakra.
I'm going to need your strength in the future, He thought in mental communication with his bugs, so today we train.
Yes, we will become stronger. The Kikaichu's agreed, their many voices in unison.
Gin needed a method of tracking someone down, especially someone he had come into recent contact with. It was the ninja way, vital for espionage, and defeating an unsuspecting opponent in battle. First he would need something to track. He visually scanned the area. Not a person in sight. He continued looking around, finding only two possible choices. A small eagle perched in some of the nearby trees, and a stray cat. Gin instantly disregarded the eagle, knowing that if the eagle found one of his bugs on it, the Kikaichu would most likely be killed or eaten. Instead he focused on the stray cat.
Gin focused his attention internally, singling out one female Kikaichu. The females were usually very rare, and Gin was proud to have quite a few in his possession. Next he made a quick tiger seal, feeling his chakra seep through his scales and into the single bug that rested on his shoulder. He had chosen this specific Kikaichu because she had a very delicate touch. People who were disgusted by the sight of bugs would not understand, but seeing as his bugs were a part of him, Gin could remember the individual characteristics of his bugs, as well as the majority of their strengths and weaknesses. Gin kept his gaze locked on the stray cat, which was unaware of the attention it was being given.
Go. There. He directed the solo bug on his shoulder.
Yes. Answered the many voices simultaneously, even though he was talking to the female specifically. The Kikaichu had what was the equivalent of a hive mind, and although they were capable of thinking and communicating on their own, they usually didn't do so unless they were talking among themselves. The Kikai flew, heading upwards first, before trying to transverse the distance between Gin and the stray cat. The all white cat had black spots all over it's furry body, and it was busy hunting a mouse that was darting between bushes. The Kikai had managed to fly up to a high enough altitude, that it could descend upon the cat without being seen. If it could manage landing without being felt would be a different story.
Slowly the Kikai descended, changing direction only when the cat moved as it tried to very stealthily stay behind the cat's line of sight. the light breeze returned, blowing the female Kikai off track by mere inches, but she quickly corrected herself finally dropping down onto the furry tail of the cat. The cat didn't even notice. Instead he crouched real low, pouncing into the bushes as he pursued the mouse that he was hunting. Gin gave it a few minutes, and as he waited he could feel the anxiety rolling off of his bugs.
You're gonna need to trust me if we are to succeed in battle. He told his bugs in an attempt to calm them.
Agreed. But is it wise to wait so long? His Kikaichu asked of him.
I trust you with my life, and so you should trust me with yours. Gin responded, silencing the bugs. He refocused on the training at hand. He began moving towards the bushes where he last saw the cat, albeit at a slow pace. Once he reached the last position of the cat his bugs engaged him once more.
Allow us to lend you our senses....
Slowly at first, but then faster as the moments passed by, Gin could smell a light scent. It smelled sweet, almost like a fancy perfume that he had smelled before. He followed it, moving fluidly and quietly at the same time. The smell grew in intensity, until it surrounded him on all sides. The cat was definitely close by. Gin paused, scanning his surroundings until he finally found the cat, making short work of the mouse it had been hunting. Looking closely he could see the female Kikai, still hanging on tightly to the cat's tail.
Return. Gin told the female Kikai. She sprung off the cat quickly, causing the cat's tail to twitch. The cat turned and hissed at Gin, taking the remains of his prey away and into some thicker bushes. The Kikai returned to Gin, landing gently in his palm and scuttling away into his robes.
Good Job. He praised the Kikai for her work.
Our pleasure. The Kikaichu hummed back to him, pleased with their success.
