Genwaku Haibun no Jutsu - (Blinding Deafening Technique)
Rank: "C" Rank
Skill: GenJutsu
Effect: Causes Blindness, or Defness upon a person for an amount of time.
Special: "Handseals"
Drawback: The user is only capable of using one technique at a time, this means that if a user uses one form either Blinding or Deafening against a few or one opponent, the user is unable to turn and start using the other on the same or even a different opponent. The user's hand must touch the ground and must stay along the ground, which may keep them somewhat vulnerable if the time is finally done.
Description: The user performs a few handseals as they slam their hand down against the very ground. The user spreads forth their chakra in a hundred foot radius from them as they create an illusion within that dome. That illusion messes with one of the two senses of the human body. One is the sense of Site, and the other is the sense of Sound. Those who step into this radius will be affected by the illusion as the user picks one of the two they wish to have stricken away from the opponents. The illusion is that they cannot see, nor hear within the very radius and are unable to understand all around as the one of the two senses is disrupted. If the opponents leave the radius, or if the user removes their hand the opponents is still under the illusion for still one round. For every Class that the user is the distance that the radius can be increased is by twenty feet. If the user is a GenJutsu Specialist, however the distance increases by twenty-five feet, while a GenJutsu Master is increased by thirty feet.
Limit: Must know Pattern Perception of GenJutsus

It was almost as if the young prince was the pipe piper, he had lured three young children from a nearby village into an isolated area, so the chance of prying eyes being able to see them was very low. Ryū had promised that he would show them a ninja technique, the children were apparently under the illusion that he intended to teach them said technique but Ryū had a different plan. It wasn’t that he had lied about showing them a ninja technique in fact he was planning on doing just that. He was going to use them to practise his genjutsu he took the first boy and made him stand away from the rest of the group it was time to begin.
Hands flickered in and out of the seals required for such a technique the pattern required would take but a second to be completed, slamming his hands to the floor with a quick burst of speed, leaving little time for the children to react. It was then that a burst of chakra would be radiated from the young master, aimed at the child. It was too late for him to realise he was caught in the spider’s web so to speak.
With his Sharingan active Ryū could see the multifarious colours of the chakra that raced towards its victim to ensnare his senses. The wave would collide with the boy, as with most genjutsu techniques this wouldn’t have any visible physical effect instead it would take a skilled ninja with the ability to see chakra to work out what was happening. Ryū had forced his chakra into the boy’s mind, to a certain degree the mind of this child was now under the genjutsu masters control.
A piercing scream would flow through the air, evidently the boy was starting to feel the effects of the technique. It wasn’t pain that caused the scream to the contrary it was the fear that, fear born from his imagination. The boy had been robbed of his sight, this harsh form of sensory deprivation had caused his mind to go into overdrive, terrified of what could happen to him next.
Such an easy target, the boy didn’t even know how to break a genjutsu. So the task of keeping the flow of chakra in the boy’s mind stable wasn’t that testing for Ryū. The other children started to laugh not fully understanding what had happened to their friend, but his fear of something that wasn’t real seemed to amuse them. This laughter would only fuel the victim’s imagination, his friends were laughing at him? What were they laughing at? What is going to happen to me? all questions that raced through the child’s mind. It was fair to say that he was engulfed in fear, something that caused Ryū great delight. He knew the power that the mind had over the body, the effect would most likely have been the same on anybody, the only difference is they might not have been as vocal as this child was.
The boy had severed his purpose for now, so Ryū would release the technique restoring vision to the boy. "You did very well, I can see you making a fine warrior someday, so who’s next?" Ryū had turned the whole thing into somewhat of a game, the children now believed that this was just an assessment of their skills.
