"Dammit." Akiko kicked a rock lying at her feet, sending it careening into and splitting in twain a tree in the distance. Akiko barely heard the thunderous sound the splitting wood made, her mind deeply embroiled in thoughts and memories of the Chunin exams she had only recently left. As her feet lured her ever more deeply into the forest, she thought of what she could have done differently, used this jutsu instead of that one, broken off her attack and retreated to await a better opportunity there.
Her mind was so caught up in thoughts of where she could have done better, that the poor child nearly ran into a gargantuan piece of stone, easily more than 5 meters tall. Akiko simply stared up at the piece of unknown stone for a moment, then turned around and sat with her back to it. "Dammit," she said, cursing her own ineptitude, "I failed those exams. I just know I did. I'll never be useful to Aniki at this rate." Akiko clenched her fist tight, and as she did so, a terrible rush of strength overtook her, forcing her fingernails through the tender flesh on the heel of the palm.
"Dammit, just...dammit." Akiko bit into her lip, the spike of pain not reaching her brain. It was actually a lovely day out. The sun was shining bright in the sky, sparse clouds painting a lovely sky; the warm sunlight diffused through the leaves of the trees, painting the forest a deep emerald. Akiko roared as she spun around, placing her left palm against the cool lichen coated surface of the stone, "Dammit!" I'm just not strong enough. "Dammit!" I'm not strong enough. "Dammit!!" Not strong enough. "Dammit!!" Not strong enough! "Dammit!!" Not. "Dammit!!" Strong! "Dammit!!!" Enough!!
Hot tears stung Akiko's cheeks as the stone in front of her crumbled beneath repeated blows from her right hand. She fell to her knees, sobbing, the knuckle-flesh of her right hand dangling in bloodied strips, the muscles and tendons twitching at random, bones in her hand bent at unnatural angles. "Dammit!" Akiko raised her fist again, striking at the crumbled pieces of stone before her, eclipsed in her shadow. She raised her left hand now, striking in tandem with her right, the two hands exchanging blows upon the stone fragments beneath her fists, throwing her entire body into the movements, until naught remained of their presence but the bloody, dirt smeared wounds; flesh peeled away to reveal bone and tendon normally hidden beneath skin.
Tears cut rivers down her dust covered face, pain aching in her heart. "Dammit," she said to the silence around her, the quiet of the forest only punctuating her pain. Akiko stood up momentarily, then let her momentum tip her over and have her fall to the ground. Her breath became ragged as her recent exertions finally caught up with her. With one final effort, she raised her arms up again and brought them down, sending waves of vibrations through the ground into the surrounding area, scattering the animals that dwelt in the forest.
