Kunai (Overview)
Rank: "C" Rank
Type: Secondary, 2 per Slot, Piercing/Slashing, Knife
Effect: A digging tool, a bit like a trowel. The blade was soft iron and unsharpened because the edges were used to smash plaster and wood, to dig holes and to pry. Also used as a knife.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: The kunai is conventionally wrought in ranges from 6 to 8 inches, with the average at 7 inches. The kunai was used by common folk as multi-purpose gardening tools and by workers of stone and masonry. The kunai is not a knife, but something more akin to a crowbar. The blade was soft iron and unsharpened because the edges were used to smash plaster and wood, to dig holes and to pry. Normally only the tip would have been sharpened. The uses to which a kunai was put would have destroyed any heat-treated and sharpened tool like a knife. There could be multiple kinds of kunais such as handless ones, or even double sided kunais as long as they are within the same length.
Limit: These types of items may be capable of being bought inside any Weapon Shop.
Cost: 1,000 Ryo per Slot, or 500 Ryo Each.

Hira-Shuriken (Overview)
Rank: "C" Rank
Type: Secondary, 15 per Slot, Piercing, Shuriken
Effect: Is a concealed weapon that is generally for throwing, and sometimes stabbing or slashing.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: Hira-shuriken is constructed from thin, flat plates of metal derived from a variety of sources including hishi-gane (coins), and kugi-nuki (carpentry tools), and generally resemble popular conceptions of shuriken. In modern popular culture, these are called "throwing stars" or "ninja stars". They often have a hole in the center and possess a fairly thin blade sharpened only at the tip. The holes derive from their source in items that had holes - old coins, washers, and nail-removing tools. This proved convenient for the shuriken user, as well, as the weapons could be strung on a string or dowel in the belt for transport, and the hole also had aerodynamic and weighting effects that aided the flight of the blade after it was thrown. There is a wide variety of forms of hira-shuriken and they are now usually identified by the number of points the blades possess.
Limit: These types of items may be capable of being bought inside any Weapon Shop.
Cost: 1,500 Ryo per Slot, or 100 Ryo Each.

Makibishi (Overview)
Rank: "C" Rank
Type: Secondary, 16 per Slot, Piercing, Makibishi
Effect: Makibishi are small, sharp objects that are mostly used to prevent someone from walking from one side to another, since they would hurt their feet if they tried to pass it.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: When pursued by enemies, ninja would scatter makibishi on the ground. In ancient Japan, common footwear consisted of sandals made of straw, called zori, which offered relatively little protection against such hazards. Makibishi spines were often hooked, and occasionally grooved to allow for a light coat of poison, to increase the damage they dealt to those unfortunate enough to step on them and possibly result in death.

Special: ---
Drawback: May harm the user if not thrown right.
Description: Smoke grenades are used as ground-to-ground or ground-to-air signaling devices, target or landing zone marking devices, and screening devices for unit movement. The body is a sheet-steel cylinder with emission holes in the top and bottom. These allow the smoke to be released when the grenade is ignited. Two main types exist, colored smoke (for signaling) and screening smoke. It fills an area radius of 15 meters with thick smoke. The smoke may come in different colors if the user wishes. Grenade: Fragmentation
Rank: "C"
Type: Secondary, 1 per Slot, Explosive, Grenade
Effect: A grenade with a heavy metal casing that shatters, on exploding, into fragments that travel at high speed and with great force.
Special: ---
Drawback: May harm the user if not thrown right.
Description: The fragmentation grenade (commonly known as a frag) is an anti-personnel weapon that is designed to disperse shrapnel upon exploding. The body is made of hard plastic or steel. Flechettes, notched wire, ball bearings or the case itself provide the fragments. When the word grenade is used without specification, and context does not suggest otherwise, it is generally assumed to refer to a fragmentation grenade. These grenades were sometimes classed as defensive grenades because the effective casualty radius of some matched or exceeded the distance they could be thrown, thus necessitating them being thrown from behind cover. Fragmentation grenades have a killing radius of 5 meters with a wounding radius of 15 meters. It takes 6 seconds before it explodes.

Character Depth
Personality:
Young and highly dutiful, Moku is rather stoic, and generally does not speak unless spoken to. He rarely lets strong emotion shine through on his face, though he is obviously not avert to your average smile or frown every now and then. Even if they are only allies for one mission, Moku is/would be friendly towards and protective of them, believing in a good team camaraderie. He would sacrifice himself for them should the situation call for it, though this is more due to a philosophy of “good of the mission over good of the self” rather than “good of the group over good of the self.”
Despite concern for allies, on missions and assignments, he places mission success over all other things, and would not only sacrifice himself but also an ally for this. To him, a kill is a kill, and he would have little regret over doing so to any unknown enemy; though if ever forced to do so to a friend, there might be some level of hesitation. However, this doesn’t mean he would engage in meaningless bloodshed for the sake of it; he would generally only take a life if he felt it was necessary.
Moku likes loyal or responsible people who take rules and regulations as seriously as he does. He enjoys training in order to grow stronger, like your average shinobi, and poetry is also a hobby of his, though he keeps it deathly secret and would be quite embarrassed if anyone ever discovered it. His favorite food is halibut, and he also enjoys other seafood like salmon and sushi.
Moku dislikes the opposite of his favorite kinds of people; those who disregard rules and laws for whatever reason, believing they go against the common good and wish the wreck the well-oiled status quo. Lazy and/or irresponsible people, with no sense of duty or commitment, highly irk him. Somewhere, in the back of his heart, he dislikes authorities that he deems to make decisions in poor taste or merely for their own gain, but will follow them regardless.
Moku is a rather analytical person who, on missions and the like, prefers to observe the situation calmly before taking any immediate action. He prefers to go on the defensive in a battle, fighting reactively so he can potentially take control of the battle later on. He is somewhat weak physically and not inclined towards taijutsu, and generally dislikes close-up fighting, though he carries a nodatchi as his preferred close-combat weapon, liking its use in blocking and strong striking capability.
Although caring enough towards others, when it comes to duty and missions, Moku has little care for human emotion and feeling, which can turn off many. As typical for boys in his age range, he is quite awkward around girls and women who aren’t his mother or a figure of authority. While not necessarily weak-willed, he is not very assertive at all.
Moku’s dream is to become Takikage, or in some position of authority, wherein he can keep the status quo going smoothly and the ninja world at a calm, peaceful state.

Appearance:
Moku’s face is quite sharp and angular, giving him an appearance a bit older than what he actually is. He has a pale complexion, both naturally as well as due to the fact that he far prefers to colder climates to the warm, and his skin is rough and callused from frequent training.
He has almond-shaped brown eyes with a bit of a slant, and they tend to display little change; it is quite rare for a smile to reach Moku’s eyes. His pitch black hair is long and unkempt, reaching down to the base of his neck. It has a smooth texture and displays a dull sheen. His lips are thin and pursed, and are often set in an indifferent line.
Moku wears a black, pinstriped kimono, the lower half reaching down just below his knees, showing his calves. Underneath, he wears a mesh undershirt and basic black pants; his Butt Bag attaches to his kimono’s belt, and thus is a bit higher up on him than the average ninja. He wears a leather strap around his torso which his nodatchi straps onto.

Background:
Moku was born in the village of Kumogakure, the only child to a caring but weak-willed mother, and a very strict father, the Jounin Commander at that time who instilled in Moku his strict adherence to the Law of the Shinobi. From a very young age, a firm ruleset was set up around the house, and Moku was scolded and beat anytime he broke a rule. From these experiences, Moku began to become quiet and stiff, and his overall personality’s development began.
There was, once, an attempt to cause peace between Kumo and Ame. Though the deal later fell through, initially, Ame, short in ranks at the time, asked for trainable children, without parents, to be sent to them to increase their ranks. In order to further the negotiations, Moku's father put him up as one of the youths to be sent, pretending that he was an orphan; he was later retracted due to one of his mother's few interventions, but he was nearly sent.
At one point, a team of three 10-year-old Genin were assigned to their first C-rank mission, to escort a very important, very rich politician to a small village about 30 miles away. On the way, they were unexpectedly ambushed by Jounin from an unknown village, whom were after their well-known sensei; they killed him and then killed the man they were escorting as well, as he was an enemy politician. The genin returned to Kumo, and Moku’s father decided to make a public example of them once Kumo began to be hounded by the politician’s friends and supporters. They were executed in the middle of the village for Moku to watch along with the rest of the village, and from then he vowed never to break the Shinobi Law, in fear of becoming just like them.
Moku’s father died during an S-rank mission when Moku was 7, before his academy education began. He and his grief-stricken mother moved to Takigakure, where Moku could pursue a career as a ninja, but without the hustle and bustle of one of the Five Great Nations, which Moku’s mother had grown tired of. With Moku's recent graduation from the academy, as well as his mother's recent ailments, he has vowed to become strong for her as well as for his father.
Moku's best friend is a young chuunin named Kensuke, a calm young man who shares his high regard for the Law of the Shinobi. The two of them frequently spar and train together, and spend a lot of time together in general. They used to be part of a trio with a Genin named Sora, who had graduated in the year before Moku. However, after she sacrificed herself on a mission, an act which ended up being detrimental to the mission's success but still respected as noble, they pretended as if she had never existed.
