Touketsu Sagiri [Frozen Mist]
Rank: C
Skill: Passive NinJutsu
Effect: Creates a thin unseen mist of ice about the user.
Special: NinJutsu Passive
Drawback: ---
Description: With long use of the ice release via the Kaishin blood limit the user is capable of sustaining a permanent, fine mist of ice about their body. Taking nearly zero effort to sustain, they unconsciously use the blood limit in order to freeze and suspend water vapor in the air around them. Typically an unintentional action, only those of master like skills have managed to manipulate this unseen form of ice about them, heightening awareness of movements about their proximity by reading movements of the mist. When first learned the user is capable of sensing movements within a 10 meter radius. Each character rank above B increases the radius by 10 meters.
Limit: Requires 500+ tp in Kaishin; requires char rank of B rank+

Rin needed a moment to get away from the fast paced movements going on at the capital. Normally Rin liked to stay high in the clouds, watching the people run around like tiny ants, running useless errands or rushing to make it to their normal jobs on time. She thought of her wings, cramped and hidden, begging to stretch and be set free. But there was no chance of that happening, if one of those chunnin participants spotted her using her wings they would have valuable intel on her abilites and this close to game time, Rin couldn't let that happen.
She moved on back to the port, passing a beach that beckoned to her with it's white sand and crashing waves... Maybe after the exams. Rin thought to herself as she passed it by. She ended up returning back to the port instead, returning to the boat that had bought her here in the first place. The salty smell of the sea returned as she drew closer to the ocean. Moisture filled the air here, cooling Rin down as she leaned over a steel barrier that overlooked the ocean from the port.
Looking over the ocean made her feel several levels of nostalgia, although not all of the memories were good ones. As if on cue she began to think about the horrors her adoptive family had been put through, all the way until their untimely demise. A single tear emerged from her right eye, sliding down her cheek very slowly. Meanwhile, physical reactions were taking place that Rin was not entirely aware of. Chakra began to leak from her pores as she went through an emotional tornado. The chakra weaved it's way through the air, combating the moisture that was already there for space. Eventually the two began to merge once there could be no more space between the them.
The temperature around Rin began to drop a small bit bringing a chill to her skin. The chakra melded with the moisture in the air, freezing it very slowly, adding weight to the air hanging around Rin. She remained oblivious, frustration marring her features. Another tear slid down Rin's cheek, this one was different however, as it slid down her face it froze and adhered to her skin. It took a full second for Rin to notice, but as soon as she did Rin wiped the frozen tear from her cheek, staring at the wet palm of her hand in shock. Rin then took notice of the heaviness of the air.
She closed her eyes, and slowly turned, feeling the frozen moisture in the air like an icy fine powder. Rin closed her eyes again, realizing that she could feel the objects in the nearby area around through the icy mist. A few seagulls eating breadcrumbs from the floor, and a someone walking up the pier to the old wooden boat she was standing next to. Rin whirled around, coming face to face with the one emerging through her new "sense".
"Didn't I get rid of you a few hours ago?" The captain of the wooden vessel asked warmly. Rin smiled very brightly, hiding the torment of emotions under the facade of happiness. Then he noticed the feel of the air around him, once the icy chill hit his bare skin.
"That's weird, what's with the icy chill?" He asked curiously, moving closer to Rin, all the while feeling the thickness of the ice induce mist around him. The new sense erupted underneath the surface of her skull, confirming the presence of the captain that was standing in front of her. She closed her eyes, and yet she could still feel the man's presence in the light icy haze around her.
"Is this you?" He asked, the worry etched into his face turning into curiosity.
"To be honest with you, I didn't know I could do this until a few seconds ago.." Rin responded with a grin. "Help me out, walk around me for a second."
"Okay..." The captain said, growing skeptical.
He walked around her in circles of varying sizes, Rin's sixth sense alerting her to the man's presence in her mist. She kept her eyes closed the whole time, noticing that she could find the man whenever he moved in a ten meter radius around her, but as soon as he stopped, she could no longer sense him.
"You can stop now, you've been extremely helpful." She then remembered the chunnin exams and ran off, hoping that she would not be late for it's start.
