Description: To simply put it, we are putting our Genin[or any willing] to work. This will be a great practice test for those fresh out of the Academy, for you will be given the position to hold a point and secure it for two days. This is to make sure you can watch out for intruders, and keep traffic under control. This is a easy task, however, you will be provided with two ANBU who already hold the gate to some degree. It is but training, but paid training at that.
Objective: Keep the gate secured for more than two days. Write a decent amount for each day. The more descriptive, and the better written your mission is, the less chances of encountering any NPC troublemakers [played by either myself, or a Staff]
Reward: 1500 Ryo [500 Ryo per tango killed, 700 Ryo per pc tango killed]

Zenkai groaned loudly as he sulked towards the gates, he had no idea why he was on this mission. This mission was mind numbingly stupid, all he needed to do was guard the gates for two fucking days. This would probably be the worst mission he would ever be on. Unfortunately he had to do this mission if he would ever have to be on, he hoped he could survive it. He slowly approached the gate where he found two AnBu waiting around as well. He nodded to the pair who watched him for a little, trying to discern his movements. That was, up until he sat down on one of the chairs, letting out a loud yawn, he would hopefully catch up on some much needed sleep during this mission.

Unfortunately the AnBu would have none of it and shook him awake only after an hour of sleeping. He rubbed his eyes to try and get the sleep out of them, stretching out on the chair before standing up. He looked at the two guards who pointed him in the general direction of another part of the entrance, telling him that he would have to guard there. This would be fun, maybe he could get out of site and hide out for a little, sleep for most of the time. He looked around the gate to see if there was anyone coming or going, maybe anything suspicious but he just couldn't find anything. He cracked his back and leaned up again the wall, shutting his eyes.

Zenkai's rest was cut short though when he heard sounds coming from near the gate. He jumped up almost immediately, looking around for the source of the noise. He unsheathed a Kunai getting ready to pounce on the unsuspecting culprit. Just as he was about to jump, Kunia raised in the air, he heard another rustle in the bushes. He jumped into the bushes swinging the Kunai, cutting half the bush in one fell swoop. What he saw below was nothing more that sheer terror! It was non other that an adorable bunny!

Zenkai stared at the bunny in awe at the bunny, then looked over at the two AnBu who were currently laughing at him. He rubbed the back of his head looking away from the two men, he felt like an idiot, being startled by something so small. He kicked the bunny, watching it fly away from him, then he turned around and walked back to his post sitting back down, looking around to see if anyone would be passing through, hopefully he wouldn't see anymore horrible, evil bunnies.

Loud thuds could be heard around the area where the gates were located, loud and rhythmic. The source of such a sound was Zenkai, bashing his head against a wall in boredom. He didn't know how much time he had left but he hoped it wasn't much longer, he didn't know how much longer he could take. He didn't know how the AnBu could stand doing gate duty, it was the worst thing in the world. There was nothing to do at all, no surprises, no people trying to sneak in or out, just complete and utter boredom. He didn't know how to keep himself entertained anymore hence why he was now bashing his head up against the wall. There had to be something that he could do that wouldn't drive him crazy, though he didn't think that was possible.

Just when he thought he'd finally cave in his skull and finally gain some peace, one of the AnBu tapped him on his shoulder. He turned around to look at the man who slapped him upside the head and sent him on patrol. Though Zenkai didn't want to necessarily walk around looking for trouble, but it was better than sitting here with his thumb up his ass. So, without further complaint, Zenkai spun around and took off, patrolling around the gate, looking for danger. He searched around the area, closest to the gate looking for anything that could possible be a threat. Of course though, he didn't find anything, there wasn't anything that he could see as a threat, he was in the village!

Zenkai decided to widen his search around the area, hoping he might find something with a stroke of luck. Of course there was no such thing as luck for Zenkai, there was just complete and utter boredom. He shook his head slowly as he strolled along, rubbing his eyes, trying anything to keep awake. He grabbed a pebble from the ground and tossed it a few feet watching it splash into a puddle. He proceeded to do this a few more times until he heard a sound once more. Thinking it was another rabbit, Zenkai quickly approached the cause of the noise, only to have a Kunai fly straight by his head, it missed by just a few inches as Zenkai jumped to the side.

This got Zenkai's adrenaline running, now he actually had something to do. He Looked around for the enemy, wondering where they were coming from, he could see no one though which worried him. He jumped back as another Kunai was thrown at him, this time he located the position and threw his own Kunai back. There was another rustle near by, he drew another Kunai and tossed it in the general direction hoping to hit something. He didn't hear anything from the position when he approached it. Finally he heard some laughing in back of him, he quickly turned around and saw the two AnBu laughing at him, they had been playing a joke on him. He sighed and shook his head, when would this mission end.
