However, the house is surrounded by each thug, with one in the house watching the old man.
Objective: Rescue the fisherman from these four thugs, and make sure the old man isn't harmed. Mission failed if the fisherman is killed.
Reward: 2500 Ryo, 500 Ryo for each tango killed[depending on how many each teammate kills on their own]
Chikarra jumped from tree branch to tree branch, moving hastily to the area he was assigned to go to. He was back in the mist village, which meant that he again was obligated to perform missions. This specific mission was a rescue mission, and a C rank. A perfect opportunity to see just how well his training went for him.
Getting close to the house, Chikarra was devising a clever plan. Now not too far from the small house close to the southern shore, Chikarra stopped and jumped to the ground. He pounded his hands on the ground, effortlessly making a 10x10 mud square out of the earth on the ground. This has practically become second nature to him, since most of his jutsu require mud style. Chikarra now pounded his hands together after three hand signs, forming a fourth.
Three mounds of mud began rising from the liquified earth, growing equal in height of Chikarra, and taking on his exact appearance. Now the real Chikarra phased into the ground, leaving the dirty work to his clones, just in case. It was very easy since he is able to transmit thoughts with them, and control them directly, including commanding them to perform any other earth related jutsu.
The three clones had scattered, jumping in three separate directions, creeping along the sides of the house, while Chikarra just stayed close underground, transmitting thoughts and gaining information. There were three gaurds, each positioned at different sides of the house, all about 30 meters away from the house as well. It seemed they were keeping guard, while the fisherman and probably the fourth goon was inside.
The three clones approached quietly, trying not to be noticed. They then suddenly jumped out in front of each goon, one per goon, to keep them all from assisting each other. The fight was on. Chikarra would wait until they were all taken out before attempting to save the fisherman.
*Clone 1* This clone approached from behind the house. He jumped in front of the bandit, surprising him with his unexpected appearance. This bandit would have never expected someone to just jump in front of him out of the blue. He readied himself in a sort of battle position. “You know kid, if you surrender now, I won’t kill you.” muttered the bandit in a ratchety, annoying voice. “Just try.” Taunted Chikarra, knowing that this would make the man angry, and it did. “Okay, you asked for it!”
The bandit pulled a kunai out of his pocket with an exploding tag attached to it and threw it at the ninja, expecting to hit him and kill him. Little did he know that nearly any ninja would be able to dodge something thrown so sloppily, and the tag didn’t even explode! Now coming down, Chikarra knew that this man would be the easiest to take down. His clone immediately jumped onto the bandit, pinning him onto the ground. “What do you want from me?!?” The goon yelled, now sweating and nervous.
“Where is the fisherman?” Chikarra interrogated. “He’s in the house!” This man was weak, and he instantly gave in, bawling his eyes out, begging for mercy. “Who do you work for? Tell me that and I won’t kill you.” Immediately the man stopped, and became dead serious. “I. I can’t tell you. Please. I can’t. No. I’ll never! I’ll never become a traitor, or else my boss would kill me! And you could never kill me, your just a kid who tackled me down! After all, I’m the weakest out of our group, so I’ll get one of my comrades to take you down in a second!” The man was assured that nothing bad could happen to him. He was wrong. *BOOM*
Birds flew away, bushes rustled as small animals ran in the opposite direction from the explosion. The clone that had been pinning the man down had exploded, for Chikarra had a new plan. That man was worthless to Chikarra, and so had his life, so Chikarra made his clone explode in a powerful explosion, killing the man. Now this explosion would attract the attention of the others, who would come running to the scene.
*Clone 2* This clone was on the left side of the house, and when the bandit he had been watching had began running to the back where he heard the explosion, this clone had jumped in front of him, stopping his movements. “D-Did you do that?” Asked the bandit, stuttering in fear. “Yeah, and I just might do the same to you.” Chikarra said calmly. “I won’t let you!” The man yelled, weaving some hand signs then pounding his hands to the ground.
“Unlucky for you, I’m a master at the mud style!” Yelled the bandit, now brimming with confidence. Chikarra managed to raise an eyebrow. “Earth Style, Mud Field!” The area around him became mud. He now weaved some signs, and began yelling again. “Take these!” He then created 3 wolves out of mud, that sprang up and began running at Chikarra. Chikarra stood there, and let the wolves attack him, tearing him apart, then dissipating themselves into a mass of mud. This confused the man, for now all that was left was a pile of mud.
“I guess I was just that good. Haha.” The man laughed uncertainly. Just then that same clone began to rise from the mud behind the man, startling him. The clone had used a substitution technique with the mud, and now stood behind the man. The surprised bandit turned around and jumped back, landing in the mud from the substitution and wolves. Chikarra then weaved some hand signs, then held the ram seal. The mud below the bandit began crawling up his legs, until it got to his upper thighs, then hardened. The man was in utter shock. Never before had he seen someone who could perform mud style other than himself.
He couldn’t move, and he was panicking. “Now, I’ll ask you once, and how you answer will determine wether I kill you or not. Who do you work f----” Just then, what seemed like senbon made of lightning were perfectly aimed at the hardened mud, slashing parts of it in such a way to loosed the grip of it, letting the captured bandit break free. Chikarra’s clone was so absorbed in battle that he didn’t realize what else had happened...
