Travel to the Land Of Waves

The air here was warm and dry, forcing me to shed my cloak and expose my hair and skin to the elements. Not that it felt bad, in fact the warm breeze felt good running through my hair, and for once I wasn't afraid to let it get tousled by the wind a bit. I was pissed with the fact that my clothing had my clan symbol stitched into the back, a clan that had not yet proven itself useful at all with the exception of the doujutsu that I had been blessed with at birth.
I continued on, moving as quickly as a ninja could, passing the capital by without coming close to it. Leaf ninja were and always could be found in the area, and the last thing I wanted was a confrontation so far away from what backup I could receive in my own country. I kept on moving, losing track of time as it passed through the clouds in the sky. I only stopped twice in order to chug some water from a canteen I was glad to have brought along.
Eventually I ended up traveling the entire width of the country, finding myself in a dock like area. There was a ferry that promised short rides to the land of Waves, along with other ferries that could carry me to many other places that were at a much greater distance away from my current position. Since I had never been on a boat before, a short ride sounded much better. Plus this place had a place called "The Great Naruto Bridge" as a part of it's tour. I quickly shelled out a small bit of ryo, and then gladly hopped on the boat. This could be interesting.
