Information on the Team Members!

Rosalie Salt is Takigakure's GodaimeTakikage and the leader of Team Phoenix Zero. She is eleven years of age and has a power classification of C class. Her major abilities deal primarily with Medical Ninjutsu and has acceptance in the Nara, Yamanaka and Tsubasa Clans. Rosalie lacks in Genjutsu and Ninjutsu and possesses no knowledge in Taijutsu at all. Rosalie has no masteries, and is in possession of one Iron Fan and two Shushken Fans.

Kanae Sankuchi is a current member of Team Phoenix Zero. She is seventeen years of age and has a power classification of D class. Her major abilities deal primarily with Ninjutsu Releases and has a direct bloodline with the Toujitakumi Clan. Kanae currently has no masteries and has possession of a Battle Fan.

Kakuro Senji is a current member of Team Phoenix Zero. He is seventeen years of age and has a power classification of D class. His major abilities deal primarily with Ninjutsu Releases and has a direct bloodline with the Toujitakumi Clan along with the ability of a marksman. Kakuro currently has no masteries and has possession of a 50 Ib Draw Pistol Crossbow.[/i][/font][/size][/blockquote][/justify]

Rules

Well what can I say? I'm a gal who lives with rules. Anyways, there aren't that many so don't fret, I'm not a total control freak xD

• Basic site rules apply to all threads within NFRP
  
• OOC posts are quite annoying, plus they make the thread look somewhat ugly. So unless it's an emergency, please leave them to PMs. You can easily have all four of us reading your OOC posts by typing in our usernames in a single PM.
  
• No Swearing. I am strongly against that in a thread. Unless your character swears then that's the only exception.
  
• When entering both the house and Dojo, please remove your shoes, it's respectful. Don't worry, they won't get stolen.

The House & Dojo!

A stone and wooden building can be seen from at least a mile from the gates of Takigakure. It is a building built upon stilts but the long bridge – like driveway separates it from the main road leading toward the village. This building was built primarily for private meeting purposes for a wealthy family within Takigakure. And was built within the forest to aide in it's privacy from the outside world. This building's owner was a family that has been close friends with the Salt Clan for centuries and had willingly given their large estate to the Salt family to do with as they please.

Young Rosalie had requested that she use this giant building for a team meeting place as well as a place to stay if she required space from the village and her family. It is a fully furnished building with a total of ten king – sized rooms , two lounges, five bathrooms and a Dojo house. There is also a large swimming pool behind the building which is used for Suiton jutsu training and a large field stretching out back for outdoor Taijutsu training, Katon, Fuuton and Doton training.

The building alone is a dark brown in color with blacks and golds in the mix along with a silver colored stone roof. Within this large estate is a fully furnished, warm interior with the regular facilities that I regular house possesses. The occupants of the house are capable of staying there as many night as they wish and fresh food and water are always available along with a single training Dojo for private or group training. The trees surrounding the building do not interfere with the occupants or their everyday duties as they are frequently taken care of if a bother should occur.

The Dojo house is a simple ten minute walk from the main house and is also built above water. It's entire interior and exterior is made completely of wood and concrete and is surrounded in Sakura trees and lush green grass. A wooden pathway leads toward the entrance of the Dojo which stands two stories high. Within the Dojo the looks will deceive you as judging from the outside, the Dojo takes the appearance of a small building, but inside it is reasonably large and spacious.

Inside there is a single large cupboard that contains several training dummies, weaponry of all kinds; wooden or steel and several boxing equipment. There are also target boards and hanging boards for weapon specialists who deal with range. These boards can be taken outside to help prevent the Dojo from getting damaged.

Nori was going to be there along with the two other members who had been chosen late last night after my departure with Nori. I had lost quite a lot of sleep on this and found that once I reached the long bridge – like drive, I was very nervous. My mind was racing with thoughts on what my teammates will be, and what kind of people they are. Also, a name for the team was also needed, but I had decided to let the whole team discuss it before anything was set. The sun was partially in the sky, clearly showing that it is morning. The time being exactly quarter to eleven (or 10:45 am). Steam rushed from my mouth as I ran along the path toward the front door before unlocking it and throwing it open. Immediately the stale smell filled my nose upon entry and the need to open all windows was immediate. It was quite a long time since this house was last used, but I knew that the food was checked and updated every three weeks. In fact, it was almost two years since this house was even used, and the smell clearly stated that. The guests will be arriving around half past eleven (or 11:30 am) and things needed to be set and ready. But after checking the entire house, and Dojo, and finding that everything was in order; I would quickly head outside and take up a seat on the porch. A clipboard was in hand and a pen in the other. I merely used this to draw on while I awaited my visitors, plus a few ideas for the team's name were also juggled around on the parchment also. My mind also begin to go through the speech that I will no doubt be having once the others arrive. “This is going to be a long day..”

[/b] I said as I hugged them both before rushing to my room. Getting a small backpack like suitcase, I filled it with some clothes and hygiene related supplies. I also hid away a scroll my mother said would tell me everything I need to know about this hidden power.

As I finished packing, I put on my blue jacket and drill shaped necklace. Making a final run through of the supplies, I'd double check to make sure I had everything I needed for the trip. I put a couple of spare outfits in here in case this one got damaged or something during training. After getting everything in order, I got the message with the instructions and retrieve a memory from yesterday about where this would be at. Heading to the door, I'd do another check since my mother wanted me to. With a grunt, I'd do so as I set down the backpack and checked everything. It was all in there so I was ready. Putting it back on, I'd keep the instructions in my left hand.

Exiting the house and family area, I'd head to the gates and constantly check the directions. It said to go to the gate and take a right if you are looking at the gate from inside. As I approached the gate, I remember she said it was hidden from sight as I looked right. There was a bunch of tall bushes and other things blocking the way with what seemed like a pathway. Following it, I'd head through the brush and came upon a stone bridge in front of me. It was now about quarter past eleven(11:15AM) and I was already here. Crossing the bridge, I wondered if she would be happy to see me. I'd also admire the surrounding architecture and landscape. It was like something out of a novel.

Such a serene area I was crossing as I approached the end of the bridge and the house. Looking at it, I saw her sitting outside as I smiled. Jogging forward to the house, practically a sprint, I'd rush to her as I smiled. Approaching her, I came to a halt as I caught my breath. "Hey Rose~hime. Seems like I'm a bit early." I said with a soft laugh. It was currently just them, so I took off my backpack and sat an inch apart from her on the ground against the porch.[/justify][/blockquote][/blockquote][/ul][/size]

Kakuro woke up in the morning with the sun shining on his face. He opened his front door to get some fresh air. When he looked down he realized he had a letter. He picked it up and went back inside. Today, Kakuro was in a good mood. His mood varies day to day. He placed the letter down on the table to make some breakfast for himself. Kakuro lives alone because his parents were killed and he moved. But he didn’t mind, he liked living alone. He also hated talking to people unless it was necessary. Kakuro went to get some cereal to eat and he sat down. When he went to eat his cereal it was soggy. “I probably started daydreaming again,” Kakuro said to himself. He poured himself another bowl and ate some cereal.

Kakuro, age 17, went inside his bathroom to take a shower. He weighed himself and realized that he was still skinny. He told himself that being skinny could be a good thing. His height is 5"7 and his weight is 120 pounds. After that, Kakuro took a hot shower. When he got out, he put on his black cloak and sandals. He put his headband on his right leg and put on his necklace. His necklace looks like the shape of a black raindrop. His cloak is bigger than him, so you can only see his face if you look right at it. Kakuro also has short, black, spiky hair. He has a really pale face and shiny blue eyes. He started trimming his nails and read the letter.

Kakuro started packing all of his things into a bag. When he finished he closed his front door and looked at the letter again. He went to the gate and took a right. At first sight there was nothing there, but when Kakuro looked harder, he found the pathway. As he walked, he came up to stone bridge. When he checked the time it was 11:16. He realized he was here a little early. Kakuro could see that two people were already there. Before he took another step he became lost in thought. When he checked his time again, it was 11:27. Kakuro realized he had day dreamed again and quickly walked up to the two people. Kakuro sat down and waited for the last person. He was quickly lost into his own little world.

“Good morning, Kanae!” Chirin greeted me. Chirin was a good-natured middle-aged woman that Kanae was currently living with. She had taken it upon herself to make sure Kanae woke up early enough to get to her appointments. Sometimes Kanae thought she took her job too seriously. “5 more minutes,” Kanae replied, putting her pillow over her head.

“Nope,” Chirin said, grabbing the pillow from Kanae. You’re supposed to be meeting with your new team today. Isn’t the Takikage a member of your team? You can’t make her wait.”[/b] Kanae rolled over and muttered something indecipherable. Chirin grinned. “If you get up now, I’ll make you breakfast. Eggs, potatoes, chocolate milk, biscuits…” Chirin began. “Alright, alright, I’m getting up.” Kanae sounded annoyed, but both she and Chirin knew she really wasn’t. The only thing Kanae loved more than sleep was food, and Chirin’s bribe had done the trick.

Kanae took a hot shower and secured her ninja headband to the top of her head. She pulled her waist-length black hair into a ponytail and looked through her closet for a suitable outfit. She would have to do a lot of walking, so skirts were out. Kanae wasn’t really in the mood for wearing pants or shorts today, so she decided on a pair of black capris with multiple pockets. She chose a short-sleeved, form-fitting purple blouse and black ninja sandals to go with the capris. Kanae’s other favorite color, blue, wasn’t in this outfit, so she decided to were a necklace with a turquoise heart on it. Then she headed to the kitchen to eat.

Chirin was an excellent cook, and Kanae enjoyed the meal. “You go back to your room and pack,” Chirin said, “I’ll take care of the dishes today.” Kanae smiled broadly and thanked Chirin. She headed back to her room and packed several sets of clothes. She made sure that she brought the scroll that her grandmother had given her. Kanae decided to wear her butt bag and clay pouches. Kanae also brought hygiene-related items such as a brush, toothpaste, soap, etc.

Before leaving, Kanae said goodbye to Chirin. Chirin gave her some motherly advice and Kanae reassured her that she wouldn’t get into trouble. By that time, the letter containing the instructions for the team meeting place had arrived. Kanae made a quick stop at the Takikage Tower to turn in a mission report and accept a new mission. Then she headed towards the place her new team was supposed to meet.

The directions were well-written, and Kanae had no trouble finding the house they were meeting at. When Kanae arrived, she saw that the other three members were already there. Kanae had already met Kakuro, so she walked over to where he was standing. Kanae checked the time. It was only 11:29, so she wasn’t late. No one else seemed to be speaking, but maybe that was because they were all waiting for her to arrive.

Kanae decided to break the silence and introduce herself. “Hi, everyone. My name is Kanae Sankuchi. I like art and explosives. I’ve already met Kakuro, and I’m looking forward to being a part of this team.” Kanae smiled and waited for the others to introduce themselves.

The air surrounding me had changed quickly as my mind recognized who it was. Already I found my heart thundering within my small chest at the sight of Nori. The boy whom I had discovered feelings for and had kissed in one day. Yesterday would have no doubt been the second best day of my life; the first being the day I graduated at the Academy. “Nori-san!” I cried out, getting to my feet with a wide smile. When we was within arms reach, I threw my arms around him and gave him a gentle kiss on the cheek. But as he sat down across from me, I noticed that another male had arrived but did not approach the group. His appearance was dark and he appeared to be in his mid to late teens. His headband was strapped tightly to his right leg and was wearing a black cloak and sandals. But he didn't bother approaching the group until it was almost half past eleven (or 11.30 am). “Perhaps he is nervous..” I muttered when he finally reached talking distance and sat down. The only person I spoke to at this point was Nori since I knew him best, but I felt a little rude because I never spoke to the new comer, but before my mouth opened to address him, the final member arrived. She was a young woman whom I noticed at the Tower with an athletic build and a bright attire. I smile at her arrival and listened to her as she introduced herself as Kanae Sankuchi. She also told us a brief explanation about herself and that she had already met a young male called Kakuro, whom I presumed was the darkly dressed male. I stand at this point, realizing that I am by far the youngest and shortest member and blushes slightly. “Hey guys, and welcome to my family's secret meeting estate. My name is Rosalie Salt and as you all know, I am the Takikage.” I say cheerfully, clasping both my hands together. “Now that we are all here, and on time too. I'd like to tell everyone what's going on,” I pause. “Now, this place used to be my parent's friend's estate and was recently given to my family as a gift for our friendship. But now the place is currently mine, and I have decided to make it our very own meeting place for our team.” Now that I had everyone's attention, my face hardened slightly to a more serious look as I sat down. “You four have been sent here to be apart of my team. I haven't been able to think up a name for the team yet since I felt like that should be a whole team thing. So we will get to that shortly. But behind me is the team's meeting place. The building is like every other building. It has ten king – sized rooms, two huge lounges, five bathrooms, a swimming pool and a Dojo house, which is located out the back. So if you guys want to stay here and train, you'll also be able to sleep and eat here like it's your very own house. The pool can be used for training and swimming and the huge yard out back can be used for outdoor training.” My gaze sweeps over the small group to ensure that what I said was getting in before I continued. “The Dojo house is easily visible from the back porch, and you guys can go have a look through the house any time you like. Just want everyone to introduce yourselves first before going inside. Now, it's a pleasure to meet all of you and I'm sure that we will all have a great time working together!” I say, excitement etched in my voice as copper eyes studied each face. Two girls and two boys. Excellent!

Kakuro watched as a familiar face came from the bridge. It turned out that it was Kanae. As he looked around he realized everyone was here. He listened as Kanae introduced herself. He watched as the Takikage introduced herself as Rosalie Salt. As he listened to her, his mind started wandering. Kakuro forced himself to listen. Since what the Takikage was saying, was probably important. The team didn’t have a name, but it did have a big team meeting place. The place has ten king – sized rooms, two huge lounges, five bathrooms, a swimming pool and a Dojo house, which is located out the back. Kakuro thought now that there was plenty of space. He would be able to sleep and eat here like it's his very own house. He could use the pool for training and swimming and the huge yard out back can be used for outdoor training.

He listened and realized that the Dojo house was easily visible from the back porch, and he could go have a look through the house at any time he liked. “This might actually be a pretty good team,” Kakuro thought”, he looked and saw that there were 2 boys and 2 girls. He realized that she wanted everyone to introduce themselves. Kakuro watched as a teenager with a blue jacket started speaking. His name was Nori Yun and it turned out he was a Taijutsu user. Kakuro sighed as he realized he had to talk. Everyone introduced themselves except for him.

“My name is Kakuro Senji,” Kakuro said,” and to answer your question, I can’t learn Taijutsu above C rank or I will destroy my handmouth.” “I also prefer the bow so I do like range attacks,” Kakuro said. Kakuro breathed a sigh of relief hoping that he didn’t have to say anything else.

After Kanae introduced herself, the other girl on her team spoke up. Her name was Rosalie Salt and she was the Takikage. Kanae had guessed she was. She had never seen the Takikage before, but she knew the Takikage was female and on her team, so it wasn’t too hard to figure out. Rosalie looked young, but that didn’t bother Kanae. She had to be a capable person or she wouldn’t have been chosen as the Takikage.

Rosalie began talking about all of the features of their new team meeting place. Kanae smiled as she realized just how much stuff the place had. It was perfect. The next person to introduce himself was Nori Yun. Nori also looked like he was younger than her, but not quite as young as the Takikage. He told the group that he was a Taijutsu user, and asked if he was the only one.

Before Kanae could answer, Kakuro spoke up. He seemed to be a little nervous, which was different from when he had walked up to her and boldly asked a complete stranger to train with him. Kanae shrugged. She was sure he would warm up to the others with time. Finally, it was her turn to speak.

“You’re right, Nori,” Kanae said. “I prefer using Ninjutsu and long-range attacks. It’s pretty much for the same reason that Kakuro doesn’t use Taijutsu. I don’t actually have any handmouths right now, but I plan to acquire two in the future.” After she finished speaking, Kanae began thinking about potential team names. She didn’t really like Team Salt, even though she assumed that Rosalie was their leader. She decided to keep thinking while her other team members shared their ideas.

And what an awkward situation it was. Kanae seemed a pretty nice and outgoing person; someone that I could easily relate to. Her personality seemed somewhat cheerful and positive which was awesome. Kakuro seemed to be the most quiet one in the group, and had simply stated little about himself. I felt my eyebrows frown slightly, but I awaited for him to finish. So it seemed as if Nori was the only Taijutsu user whereas the two newcomers were Ninjutsu users and people with more than one mouth. More than one mouth; ha, I found that somewhat interesting and actually made an attempt to seek out the other hidden mouths on the two others. But failed. “Well I mainly use Genjutsu and Ninjutsu. I honesty don't think I'll be any good with Taijutsu, but I do plan to focus on that in the future. But before we actually do go through the house and stuff. Anyone have any ideas for our team's name?” A bright red color floods my cheeks at the question, but I'm not the naming type. Got too many other things to worry about. The air had indeed picked up this time and it was edging on to midday. My mind flooded with many things regarding the team, but rushing everyone seemed like a bad idea. Plus we all just met each other. My gaze shifts from each Shinobi surrounding me, wondering what they're thinking about. But my ears were focused on the surrounding sounds. Birds and the faint lapping of water in the background, presumably from the small stream beneath the bridge – like driveway and the pool behind the house. The lawn surrounding the backyard was also freshly trimmed and had that strong wet grass smell. I decided that the cleaners had done a really good job. I actually take a seat again and props one leg over the other. There are surrounding seats near the table I am sitting at, so if the others wanted to sit then so be it. I had positioned the house in a manner that four or more people were capable of resting and doing anything that they wished. But I also understood how everyone's nerves were pretty high at this point, but it will die down within a few hours.

As we continued on with the introductions, Rosalie confirmed that I was the only one since she wasn't a major in it. It was put on the back burner for all these guys but me since it was who I was. Rosalie then asked us all if we had any good ideas for a name before she gave us the grand tour of the estate property. Sitting cross legged with my right elbow on my right now, I'd hold my head in my right hand as I pondered possible names. Since it seemed that the majority of the group relied heavily on chakra, perhaps "Team Chakra" would have been good in my mind but not if I blurted it out. No it had to have a bit of sophistication and nothing mainstream.

Still considering names, I thought of possible names. Perhaps team Gurren or Dai-Gurren would be great, or perhaps great failures. Shaking off those names I thought about more names, expanding my creativeness within me. What would be a good name? Should it focus on the leader or the group as my eyes surveyed the group. Perhaps since everyone used ninjutsu, use team ninjutsu but it seemed a bit overused and not really original. Shifting my head around to think, I even moved and sat next to Rosalie to think about it. Nothing worked. I had a writer's block so to speak. "I got nothing." I said as I shrugged while still continuing to speak.[/justify][/blockquote][/blockquote][/ul][/size]

Kakuro listened to Kanae as she talked. He was correct about meeting her before. Kakuro listened as the Takigake told a little about herself. He realized that she used mainly Genjutsu and Ninjutsu. She planned on learning Taijustsu in the future. He listened as she told them that she wanted some team names. While he was thinking he heard Nori said I got nothing.

Kakuro closed his eyes and thought about some team names. He couldn't use something like Team fist because half of the team couldn't use Taijutsu. Maybe it could be like Team Range except Nori used hand to hand combat. The team could be named Team Illusion if everyone used Genjutsu.

"Does anyone know what we all have in common," Kakuro said," like we all want to master Genjustsu or something?

Kanae removed her pack and sat down by Rosalie. As Nori had pointed out earlier, Kanae wasn’t a Taijutsu user and her pack was getting kind of heavy. Kakuro asked about things the team had in common. Kanae didn’t know the rest of the members well enough to know what they had in common with each other, but I knew the things that I liked. “Well, I like art, explosives, clay, Ninjutsu, revenge, and the colors purple, blue, and black. I also really hate spiders.” I wondered if my teammates would object to the name Team Anti-Spider or Team Death to Spiders.

Kanae looked around at her teammates. Everyone seemed to be thinking of a suitable name for the team, but no one seemed willing to voice their ideas out loud. They weren’t going to get anywhere if no one said anything, so Kanae started listing random team names that popped into her head. Maybe her other team members would like one of them or give them an idea for a good team name.

“How about Team Phoenix, Team Rose, Team Cascade, Team Fusion, Team Genesis, Team Nighthawk, Team Velociraptor, Team Shadow, Team Silver Rain, or Team Promise?” Kanae paused to give her teammates a chance to respond and continued thinking of more team names.

Something that I thought no one would have trouble in. I move into a puzzled position as Kanae and Nori moved in and sat on both sides of me. Kakuro had a good point in asking for the things that we have in common, but what really made me laugh was when Kanae mentioned that she hated spiders. “Spiders.. I suppose that's the only thing I'm afraid of.” I couldn't help but to add on her opinion of them. But as Kanae started shooting out potential names, I quickly scribbled them down on the clipboard that I had in possession. Juggling them around but coming to no conclusion. Gentle fingers are then placed upon his arm in a loving gesture. I had almost forgotten what it felt like to touch him, but it always felt lovely to feel the warmth of his skin. “Plus, a star is such a unusual shape to me anyways...” I mutter and wonder what the others think of my decision.

Kakuro listened as Kanae said some team names. He realized that some of them were actually pretty good. He listened as the Takigake asked about making the team name Team Star. Kakuro focused on which team name he liked the best. She said that stars are infinite and last millions of years. She was planning on making this the best team in the village.

Kakuro listened to Nori as he said we should have a team with zero in it. He liked Team Phoenix because it symbolized us never giving up. But Nori also liked Team Star due to its uniqueness. Still he chose Zero because it has no beginning or end. He also said that it symbolizes that we will never stop like us. Kakuro liked all of the names mentioned so he thought about the one he liked the most.

"I agree with Nori about Team Zero or Zero Team." Kakuro said. He liked the sound of it when someone said it. He felt that it caused them to look mysterious. Kakuro decided that he wanted this to be the team name. But if it wasn't chosen then whatever. He still liked all the other names.

After Kanae listed several names, two other suggestions were mentioned. Rosalie wanted the team to be named Team Star. Nori proposed the name Team Zero. Kanae didn’t really like the name Team Zero. Although the things Nori said about zero having no beginning or end and being continuous was true, zero could also have a negative connotation.

“I like Team Star better than Team Zero.” Thoughtfully she added, “We could always combine some of the team names. Maybe something like Team Zero Star, Team Star Zero, Team Shadow Star, or Team Phoenix Star. What do you guys think?”
