The Sky Spire
The Sky Spire, a dagger like building that has been chosen as the new headquarters for the Amegakures shinobi forces. Immensely tall, built from steel, polished by the rain and megalithic in design this tower was chosen both for its splendor and for the intimidating effect is has on those who behold it.
Level 10: The Kages office, located at the highest and narrowest part of the tower it offers the tallest view in the city. The doorway awaits at the very end of the stairs on a small landing where there's enough roof for both a visitor to stand as well as a quartet of vigilant Bear division ANBU agents. In every corner is a security camera constantly reporting both to the OP center and to the ANBU HQ.
Past the thick steel portcullis, it's body gloriously brandishing the rain village logo across its entire three meter width, is the chamber of the village leader himself.
Although situated in the narrowest part of the building the space is still almost cavernous. Easily twenty meters wide and tall and at least sixty meters long. The walls are undecorated, showing their bare steel, although on the floor a long black carpet lays before the desk of the Amekage. Connected to the floor of the chamber, almost as if growing out of it, is the kages desk, made of the same steel as the tower and designed like just a simple block with an opening on one side for the users legs to fit in. Behind the desk and opposite the portcullis is a window taking up the entire wall, the reinforced glass allowing a view down at almost all of Amegakure.
Level 9: On this floor is the village vault, containing all the cities earnings, treasures, scrolls and secrets. The door into the vault takes up the entire width of the floor and requires entries into several combinations through keypads as well as clearance from about a dozen different security staff, even then anyone entering the vault will require being tailed by at least two of the half dozen ANBU agents always posted on this floor.
Level 8: This floor is home to a local ANBU garrison, always occupied by at least a dozen or so ANBU agents at all time. Mostly drawn from the bear division they're on standby at all times should any trouble or serious crisis effect either the tower of the kage. Containing a bunk room and a training room it is essentially designed to keep the agents ready and in good condition for a sudden emergency.
It also contains its own security outpost, linked up to the OP center but also gathering its own feed of information from its own sources.
Level 7: This level is strictly blocked off, the door ways into this floor have been welded shut and there is always a pair of ANBU agents guarding this floor.
Level 6: The guest floor, a tall and wide section of the building containing several hotel style rooms. From the stairway is the entrance to a hall containing five doors, each door enters into a vast and spectacularly furnished and decorated room, designed to be fit for an ambassador or visiting kage from another land.
Infront of each door and at the start of the hallway is a single Bear division ANBU agent and along the ceiling are several security cameras, ensuring no part of the hallways is beyond their view.
Level 5: This floor is used as a simple surgical and, in some cases, ritual room. Although not equipped to the same standard as a proper hospital this floors facilities have been designed to handle injuries such as lacerations and other combat wounds, essentially there to take care of any ninja who chose to come to the tower for debriefing whilst still wounded.
This floor also contains several ritual rooms useful to some clans within Amegakure when they require medical or specialist aid in the process. On this floor there's always a team of at least half a dozen Frog division ANBU as well as another half dozen Medic ninja.
Level 4: Level 4 contains the meeting rooms. From the stairwell there is a long corridor leading to the 14 meeting rooms, six on either side and two at the corridors end. Each room mirrors the tower with its dark grey steel walls and is equipped simply with some chairs, a table and a white board. Used for team meetings or for briefings/debriefings of complex missions.
The two meeting rooms at the end of the corridor share a connecting wall that can be retracted to form a crisis room for when the Amekage must form a large meeting for an urgent matter at hand.
Level 2-3: These two levels form what is called the OP center of Amegakure. Here is where most B to S rank missions are given out, on level two which is the strategic center. Here is where all missions are written and is the nerve center of almost all shinobi duties throughout the village, constantly buzzing with chatter and the sound of writing. Someone coming to the second floor would be find a long and plain desk going from wall to wall. Behind this desk is Jounnin officer Karlz Soetong whom serves as the mission assistant on this floor. Behind him is row after row of mission writers, all busy putting ink to paper whilst also talking via radio to those requesting the services of Amegakure.
Through the second floors' open ceiling is a network of steel catwalks and throughout this web of walkways is Amegakures security center. Along the sides of the catwalks are consoles, each hooked up to a security monitor and ceaselessly scrolling through the different cameras located throughout the city. Each time one person at the monitor notices something suspicious they shout down at the mission center and it gets written up as a task for a shinobi to investigate. In the corners of the floor are circular chambers each hosting a small group of "Scanner" ninja all gazing into crystal globes, remotely viewing every place the cameras cannot go. This floor is run by Intelligence Chief Agasuo Kumomusha.
Lobby Floor: The very base of the Sky Spire houses a cavernous lobby big enough to hold almost half of all the ninja population in the city. Its ceiling is almost 100 meters high and the same both widthways and longways. Across the floor is an intricate spiraling pattern of black rubber that absorbs most of the noise from people walking through the lobby. Entry into the lobby is granted through a set of electric sliding doors along the front and sides.
Near the back of the lobby is a set of three desks that handles missions D to C rank as well as some of the simpler B ranks too. Behind each desk is either Bozran Akimichi, Burn Li or Emily Kasuta, all of whom are Chunnin officers. Supervising them as well as responsible for bringing down the new mission scrolls is their official leader Chunnin Sergeant William Eckle.
Behind the mission desks is the stairway that serves as the buildings spine. Each step is about five meters wide and goes up in a steep spiral throughout the entire tower, suspended along a series of wires connected to the roof of the stairwell. Guarding the way up the stairway is an ANBU agent and Jounnin officer Pisang Adulo, whom will question any who ask to go up the stairs and may also escort them until they reach their desired floor.
The Basement: Going down the staircase through the lobby floor will bring one to the basement. Although just half the width and length of the lobby but just five meters tall it's deemed not big enough for proper storage, and so it has been fitted for another purpose entirely. Along the left side of the basement is a canal leading into the sewers of Amegakure and on the right is a penned off area awaiting the inclusion of animals. Until the basement has been deemed usable for its decided purpose it has been closed off and is guarded by a pair of ANBU agents.
