Takuya sighed as he looked around at his surroundings as his heart rate slowed down returning to normal. The last thirty-four handseals ran through his head, as he tried memorizing them all in an instant. He lifted his hand and placed it on his forehead sighing at the next thing he'd have to do. Takuya frowned realizing he had to memorize and remember thirty-four handseals plus ten extra ones he needed to know before he could master this technique. He removed his hand from his head and looked at his father who had raised an eyebrow waiting patiently for him to begin.
"Any time now!" He shouted over to him with a smirk on his face. "It isn't as easy as you thought is it Takuya?" The man thought to himself as he noticed Takuya begin to hesitate. He stood on the water and began to rapidly form the handseals, "Two...Four...Six...Eight...Ten...Twelve...Fourteen...!" Takuya numbered every other seal as he continued flying through them with a small smirk under his face mask, "Sixteen...Eighteen...Twenty...Twenty-Four...!" He continued on as he grinned and noticed his foot stop exerting chakra. He dropped down into the water with a dark grin on his face.
"Yeah..." Takuya's father said as he watched him drop into the water. He stood up and cracked his back as he slowly walked over to the water source. "You've got the same problem I had when I was learning this technique." He stated as he closed his eyes and folded his arms. "Yeah? Well what's this problem...?" Takuya sarcastically asked lowering his eyelids. "Hmph...I see you like to take the short path down the rode eh." Takuya sighed as he listened on to what his father spoke. "Well listen here you brat, the short path isn't alway the safe or smart path. The path may be small and lead you to where you're going faster, but it will also have alot more dangers ahead lying on it." Takuya's eyes widened as the words pierced his mind, shoving a little more knowledge into his brain. "Try it one more time and I'll help you then if you can't get it."
Takuya focused chakra into his forearm and climbed out of the water, climbing into a straight up standing position. He looked at his father as he got ready to form the handseals again, this time with a little more knowledge in his brain. He continued numbering the seals as he ran through them. "Two...Four...Six...Eight...Ten...Twelve...Fourteen..." As Takuya continued numbering the handseals he formed he listened to his father speak. "Because the long path is the longer road, it's big but the dangers the lie on it are smaller and spread out. The short road may be the fast one. But the long road is the safe one. This saying may change at times, but I guarantee that you'll be safe journeying down the long road.
"Sixteen...Eighteen...Twenty...Twenty-Four...Twenty-Six...Twenty-Eight...Thirty...Thirty-Two...Thirty-Four...!" Takuya continued more focused this time and grinned as he neared the last ten seals. Out of the blue a medium amount of water rose from the water source and took the form of his father. The water clone charged him and threw a punch only powerful enough to knock Takuya down into the water. His eyes widened as the clone's punch neared him. Leaning back, Takuya aimed to evade the punch but was too late. The clone had gotten too close and had knocked him onto the surface of the water and then down into it.
"Hey, hey, hey! What's the big idea, I was almost done!" Takuya shouted toward the man. "The next step even though you aren't done, is to form the handseals under a large amount of pressure. It's rank isn't high for nothing. Learn to focus your chakra and stand on water while forming handseals and being charged by an opponent. At such a young age, this will come in handy my son." Takuya grinned as he rose to the surface of the water hearing everything his father had spoken.
