The friendly girl pranced happily outside as she waited on who she called 'Auntie Ryue' to get ready and join her outside. It was the women that took Vita in when Vita was only a child and Ryue was still a shinobi. Ryue though, was now retired however still helped Vita with her training. Vita now a Genin. They both lived in the Modern District, it was were Ryue had moved them after she was retired but that was perfectly fine with the girl. But supposedly they'd be heading to the Harbor District. Mostly the Southern Lake which meant there was water. It must of been deep enough water for Vita to train. They weren't taking up to much space, so hopefully the fishermen didn't mind them being there. Especially with Vita in the water.
Once Ryue had made it outside as well, Vita just scampered off down the streets which either way, she'd make it to the Harbor district. However, she did easily get distracted which nearly made Ryue drag her sometimes. Vita was rather.. childish.

When they finally made it, Ryue having to drag her once or twice, they settled near the edge of the water. A few fishermen were in sight but not to many. "So how exactly do I do this technique?" She asked the women who recently sat down. But Vita was to hyper to sit down at all. After the quick explanation, Vita was focusing on channeling chakra into her mouth and lungs as she slowly waded into the water, until she was deep enough where if she sat down on the underwater ground, she'd be fully engulfed. Forming the correct hand seals Vita vanished into the water easily when she sat down. Opening her eyes, the water was slightly murky from the sand that had been disturbed but otherwise fairly clear. She saw a fish or two, some underwater plants but nothing that perked her curiosity. The longest she had managed to stay under was five minutes until she came up gasping for air. It was fairly hard to learn it, as she already knew. Making her way out of the water, she simply sat by Ryue who had called her over. So she had to wait out of the water for two minutes and thirty seconds. That'd seem forever to someone that could be impatient as Vita.
It never took her that long to get distracted. She just laid back in the grass and easily was distracted by anything in the sky or in her line of vision. A few birds which she easily took interest to seeing as she was part of the Tsubasa Clan so it did make sense. Once those two and a half minutes were up though, she simply got up and back into the water while she channeled chakara to her mouth and lungs. Easily creating the hand seals she sat where she had before underwater. It seemed the more chakra she applied the more she was able to stay underwater longer. That being the reason she had attempted to double the chakra she was channeling which made it approximately ten minutes she was underwater. This was Vita actually trying to take her time with things. Usually she was impatient or easily got distracted.
When she was back on solid land it seemed Ryue had vanished off into the Harbor distract leaving Vita at Southern Lake. Some of her old friends might of came and got her distracted. She was usually around them when she wasn't napping or out walking. Though she did advise Ryue's words. Wait half the time spent on water before using the technique again. So off into her imagination she went again. Which easily got her distracted, so it wouldn't be that long till she got back into the water. She'd just have to keep a good remembrance of why she was at the Southern Lake in the first place. Seeing her distractions usually had her forget a lot.
After chasing at least a frog or two, Vita climbed back into the water as she focused chakara to her mouth and lungs. This time going further out then before. Making the hand seals, she dove deeper into the water. Her curiosity getting the best of her. But mostly, she just let herself drift downwards. She rather liked the fishes and ended up trying to follow a few. Though she easily lost them or got distracted again, like usual. But however, she didn't know how deep the water got which is why she didn't venture to far.
It was around sixteen to seventeen minutes later when she finally surfaced for air and swam back to shore. She was actually getting quite bored of the technique all together but Vita knew it might become useful in the future. That was the only reason she had stuck to it. Not to mention her determination that kept her persisting on finishing this technique once and for all. But after she got to the according time that Ryue had told her she knew she'd have to keep practicing after that.
It was around eight and a half minutes later that she finally gave up on chasing a bird once she had lost interest of yet another frog. When that happened, all she did was sit in the grass and watch the clouds. It seemed the only thing she could do actually. Waiting was not her specialty at all. Repeating the steps she dove right back into the water after the desired hand seals. The longer she was underwater the longer she'd have to wait to try and learn the technique again by training. It was as simple as that and it actually frustrated her quite a bit. Which was the reasons she was at a point of heading home and starting tomorrow. The sun was setting after all and she didn't want to be out here in the dark especially if Ryue forgot she was here.
After surfacing and heading to shore for the forth time, she finally realized Ryue had returned though it took some time to notice her. Since she was rubbing away the tiredness in her eyes. Vita hadn't yet picked up the endurance of staying awake and using a lot of chakara. But yet she still knew she'd have to practice this technique and that Ryue would make sure she didn't head home till it was the break of dawn. Quite cruel but it's the reason Vita wasn't still stuck in the academy. So the ten minute wait started and she went back to chasing frogs to keep her awake.
After talking to Ryue about heading home after she practiced the technique one or two times, she had finally got the older women to agree. But Vita would be staying if she went past the point of tired to where she was actually hyper. It had happened before and it took hours to calm her down. Vita's version of hyper was almost going insane. Though she always did try to remain calm around other people most of the time.
Once the ten minutes were up, she channeled the chakara to her mouth and lungs with the desired hand seals, she went right back into the water. The water had become quite peaceful after a while. There was nothing really to worry about underwater and besides the point it was quite relaxing. But in a time of despair it'd be quite a wonderful place to go and drain thoughts. Also had many uses if it ever came to any sort of battles.
After she lurked underwater and swam for a bit, around twenty minutes. Vita surfaced once more and went to shore. She spent no time at all racing Ryue home though she knew the women wouldn't, and possibly couldn't run at all.
