The area was very flat, not to rocky and the grass seemed fresh. There is a nearby stream where all you can hear is the floiwing water and near by birds chirp. It is early in the morning and the sun is barely reflecting off of the surface of the water. There is not a visable cloud in the sky and the humidity is almost unbearable.

After watching his guardian perfom a ninjutsu to kill some fish for dinner in a nearby stream, Pax decides to teach it to himself based off of what Soharasani did. Now Pax already knew that lightning style was dangerous he had set up a few precautions. He knew lightning conducts better through certain material so he poured a bucket of water on 3 stray kunai which were set up in a triangle. Each kunai was about 1 meter apart and Pax stood about 6 meters back.

He knew for this technique he would have to feel the electricity flow through his whole body as one. He started to concentrate on an image of a bolt inside his head and stood up a believed he was ready to give it a shot. He quickly weaved the Signs for the jutsu in order, Bird, Dog, and then he opened his hands and pointed right at the kunai infront of him. To Pax's disbelief a little spark shot out of his finger tip due to the minimal amount of chakara he put into it.

He tried once again hoping the humidity hadn't dried up the water he had placed on the 3 kunai. Again he weaved his hand signs and then pointed again but added more chakara. This time he had shot the kunai and a spark of electricity seemed to dance between the metal and water. To make sure he understood what he did he wanted to try it a few more times.

This time he wanted to see if he could add more power into one little shock. He crossed his legs and started to think deeply. After about 20 minutes of thinking on how effective he could make this he thought if he added 2 more triangles of kunai the stray shots would go to them instead of the 2nd and 3rd kunai of the triangle.

He spent a good 5 minutes placing the kunai just right and he ran back about 15 meters. Only to realize that the water had dried up on the first circle so he went and place more on all of the kunai triangles. Now staring at the big triangle he took a deep breath, made his seals, and pointed at the kunai. To Pax's surprise it worked but he was knocked back because the force was too powerful for just one finger.

He knew that the way he just tried to increase the power would not go over to smoothly in a fight so for now he went back to the original kunai triangle. He sat there for some time trying to perfect the jutsu but he still had much more to learn. After the 5th or 6th try however Pax started to feel light headed and burns on his fingertips. So he decided to call it a day for now.

The same location as yesterday, not much has change except a few tiny singe marks and some cut grass where Pax had been practicing.

After a long day of training yesterday Pax was anxious to continue to get this new attack down and find tatics within its weakness. He has been brainstorming since the night before on what he could do instead of having to set barbaric lightning rods in the ground. So far the only idea he had was risky at best.

His idea was to try to throw a shuriken and have it become charged with electricity. To do this though he would have to be extremely fast at grabbing a shuriken. He still stuck 2 wet kunai in the ground and had a training dummy infront, creating another triangle. Knowing that this idea may completely back fire on him he took precautions and removed the iron from his shoulders, fore arms, and shins.

He stood back 30 meters because this would be classified as a long range attack. He began to focus on what he had imagined to happen. Again he used the proper hand signs and right after he released the Dog sign he grabbed a shuriken with both hands and threw them and pointed at the same time with both hands. As Pax saw the quick charge hit the shuriken his eyes widened, but when both of the throwing stars hit the torso of the dummy 4 quick botls shot out in all directions. Two headed straight for the kunai in the ground, 1 launched straight up and killed a shocked a small bird which fell to its death and the final bolt headed straight for Pax's chest.

He hadn't realized that a force of habit made him grab 2 shuriken instead of just one. If he had only thrown 1 he wouldn't have been picking himself off the hard dirt. Although his move worked as he planned it, it wasn't as powerful as he percieved it would be. He expected huge scorch marks on the inside of the shuriken-created holes in the dummy's torso. When he look at them they were very small, about 2 cm long, 1 cm deep, and 1 cm wide.

Granted the human body would have been shocked for a good 3 seconds due to the water content. In an actual fight Pax would have to consider that there are no kunai to take the stray bolts. Even though he succeded in that he was still persistant and wanted to find out a way to completely turn around the backfire of the technique into an advantage.

His stubboness now taking over he decides to keep trying but instead he places 2 more kunai and gets back on his feet. Quickly brushing off any dirt on his pants he quitely mutters to himself, " That blast may have knocked me back but it would never do anything to a higher ranked shinobi.". Sighing for emphasis he starts to form his seals. He throws the 2 shuriken and they quckly have the same effect except the kunai acted as lightning rods again.

Determine not to leave this training ground until he masters this he sits down and starts thinking of a more direct aproach with it. Certainly using it up close in combination with tiajutsu would only cause Pax to get shocked and without knowing any genjustu he decided there are only two other aproaches. But finally decides it's time to get a bite to eat and walks over to the stream to catch his dinner.

Still the same field. Training dummy is still there with knicks in the torso and small burns

During the night Pax had an important dream. He had battled with his split personality. In the dream the split personality had shown perfect control of the channelled lightning strike. Pax had to fight his personality with everything he had.

The two stand facing each other on the training field inside of Pax's mind. Pax's split immediatley breaks the silence," You're foolish enough to stand in front of me with a stupid smile on your face. I guess I'll just have to turn that smile into its usual grimace". Pax knew that his other half is currently stronger than him but he also knew he would have more insight than the evil being. Pax clears his throat and states with confidence in his voice," The fact that im here just means I'm meant to destroy you here". With a quick chuckle the Split starts weaving hand signs and uses Fuuton Kaze no Senbon (Needles of the Wind) throws the air needles and runs at Pax. Pax quickly finishes his hand signs and uses Wind Technique:Air jump and mid air Pax throws 3 kunai, 2 shurkien, and then draws his sword.

The splits first reaction was to stop the 3 pretruding kunai flying for his face, he forms his seals and then yells "channelled lightning strike" and points at the furthest kunai. The 2 spare bolts hit the two following kunai and the drop to the ground and he simply steps right away from the shuriken remaning. This gave Pax an idea. He quickly lunges towards the other personallity with his sword drawn he stops 4 meters in front of the split personallity and throws his sword at the split.

The Pax doppleganger grabs the sword mid air and Pax weaves the signs Bird, Dog and points at the end of the sword. The main bolt hit the sword and 1 stray hit the split and the other stray hit a shuriken. Leaving the other half with a burn on his hand and a singe on his chest. He looks up at Pax and laughs," heh you think your very clever, don't you? Try this one on for size." He tosses Pax's sword straight up in the air and at an unbelieveable speed draws his on to Pax's throat and says, "Your body is now mine!" Paxs chuckles and quickly flips him over his neck, rolls out and weaves the signs ox, Monkey Rabbit,Tiger, places his right hand over his mouth and says Fire style : Inferno Technique.

The double had dissappeared in an instant as Pax see's the bright sunlight shining above his head. He snickers to himself and says " That was quick thinking back there. Referencing to how his double countered his shuriken with the channeled lightning strike. Pax also realized if he were to throw 3 stars and use the channeled lightning the bolts would link his 3 shuriken instead of innocent people.

Believing this is to difficult to all comprehend right now so he goes back to working on the jutsu. He tried his new theory out and it was a little less effective than he had thought. He imagined almost a chain of lightning being sent between the 3 metal stars as if they were wet but Pax didnt know any water style moves so that would be a little difficult. So he continued training into the next morning until exuahstion took over.

Still not giving in, Pax finds himself in the same field he's been in for days. He will not give up on learning the channeled lightning strike. He figures that the jutsu is best used to trick the enemy into an attack or deflect shuriken by countering the way the star is moving with a quick bolt. He came up with 2 new methods to use this jutsu with, either pin them down in a circle of electric kunai while consealed by a smoke grenade, or throw his sword and try to make it simulate a giant shuriken that has an electric discharge.

Convincing himself not to throw away a smoke grenade in training, he attempts his second idea. He places 2 kunai on opposite side of the dummy and walks back 20 meters. He turns to the dummy lets out a sigh and weaves his hand signs, grabs his sword and throws it with one hand and zaps it with the other. The sword's spinning speed picked up when the bolt hit it and it was heading straight for the head of the dummy.

The handle of the blade hits the face of the dummy and Pax begins to think to himself. "hmm if the handle hit it then maybe i can double the speed of the spinning to make it lethal." He placed 2 more kunai as lightning rods in the ground. Walking back to the same spot he takes a deep breath, then does the appropriate hand signs, throws the sword, shots a left bolt and immediatly afterwards the right bolt. The two bolts hit and start to spin the katana faster. The katana pierced the forehead of the training dummy and 4 shocks created holes from the inside of the wood.

The kunai were hot to the touch so Pax decided to let them cool down a little before he tried to remove them. So he sat by the stream and an idea popped up in his head. "I can get some wood and light it on fire to represent the grenade. But I'd need to get water to put the fire out fast." He sets the field up with the wood infront of the dummy and removed the kunai from the ground. He uses his Fire Style: Inferno Technique to set the wood on fire.

He jumps through the smoke on the dummy's side, does a 180 mid air, weaves his seals, and throws 3 kunai in a triangle formation and sent a bolt to the last one. To his surprise the kunai all missed but he was able to mark his target through the smoke more effectivly. He gets the water and put out the smoke and decides tonight he should sleep at home [exit]

Housenka no Jutsu - Mythical Fire Phoenix Technique

Description: The user performs a few quick handseals as they quickly take the same concept as that of the Goukakyuu no Jutsu. The user then spits out or hurls out up to five small sized fireballs towards the enemy. Each fireball creates massive amounts of burns but does not burst forth in an explosion. As each fireball makes contact with something, they spread out the fire creating a more of an area effect within the fire. The user is capable of using this technique in conjunction with multiple secondary weapons such as kunai or shuriken. The opponent is incapable of noticing the projectiles until the fire is extinguished in mid air. This technique is used typically to hide or to be used as a diversion for more of a powerful technique. As a D ranked ninja, the user is able of shooting 5 balls of fire. After the user goes up a difficulty class, they are capable of shooting 5 more fireballs.

The same training field as before except the humidity in the air has decreased greatly in the past few days. There are many holes, scortches and singes around the field. A mark of commitment is being graved into the land from multiple training sessions. The burnt wood lies on the border of the nearby stream.

Pax walks up to the stream and wets his face an looks at his reflection in the slow moving water. He stand up turns around to place the training dummy in the ground again. He was getting a little nervous and anxious because today he wanted to try to learn another technique, one he was just as determined to learn as the last if not more. He was so excited because he always loved fire and he wanted to use its power in depth. To be exact it's because of his gaurdian that he loves fire style so much

He walks away from the dummy after a minute and then turns around to face it. Deciding to sit down to collect his thoughts he starts thinking of many little thing. He quickly changes his focus to the feeling of fire and the right flow of his chakra to use the techniques. Finally he stands up and begins forming the handsigns and closes his eyes. He opens his eyes to aim at the dummy, places his fingers on his lip and spits out 5 flaming birds. Studying the structure of the little inferno creatures seemed to be relevant to learning the flaws around a technique like this

"hmm they seem to bee hallow, so not much explosive damage, but still it's made of fire so it should ignite." he theorized this and sent the birds soaring at the dummy. The birds hit 3 areas of the torso and 2 on the head and set a fire on and around the dummy. He quickly rushes to the stream and puts out the fire. He goes back to where he was standing and trys the technique again. This time he tests to see how long the birds will sit without instruction.

He performs the jutsu again and sits and waits for the birds movement to begin. After about 8 seconds the start to fly around frantically and after another 4 seconds they explode mid air setting little fires across the field. Already prepared he douses the fires and states" I'm able to hold them for about 4 seconds effectively from a decent range and be able to accurately hit something before they start to flutter and burst into flames.

He decides he has enough chakra to try it one more time he starts weaving his seals again. He places his hand around his mouth and spits the birds out one last time. This time how ever he only had enough chakra to create 3 birds. Deciding not to be picky he trys throwing shuriken behind the birds at the dummy. This seemed to be successful for 3 so he presumed it would work for 5. After using the rest of his chakra he sits down, pulls out his dinner and begins to eat. Shortly after finishing he grabs his equipment and his dummy and walks home.

After resting for a few days Pax is as eager as ever to get back to training. With winter already among those in Taki no kuni the trees and grass around him were lightly blanketed in snow. He decided to go to a near by forested area to train in a faster pace as he hopes he can catch the near by pack of wolves while they are hunting for food. The forest is a decent size and he knows that plenty wildlife inhabits the area. Before he sets out onto his little self-assigned mission, he checks his bag and makes sure his sword is tightened around his hip.

He initialy runs in with a headfull of steam and after only five minutes, which had felt like hours, had he already had to take a break to catch his breath. It takes him a good half an hour before he even encounters any wildlife. Realizing this could take a long time he sits down to gather his thoughts. "There's got to be a way i can lure them out... Maybe i can try cooking something to attract it?" with his last thoughts being "ehh its worth a try" he pulls out three shuriken and sprints off on his search for some food.

He runs into many animals but none of which he believes would smell most appealing to a wolf. Rabbits, foxes, sheep, and large carcuses are normally a wolfs main diets, although they will eat what they need to in order to survive. Something large like a moose or a bear would be perfect to lure out a whole pack surely, but finding just that could be either imposible or risky. The winter is normally when moose mate and bears either hibernate or prepare for hibernation . After his whole theorization process he figures it'd be easier to find rabbits. Setting off again at an extereme pace he starts scanning the ground for any rabbit holes. Continuing his search for a good 25 minutes he finally finds one! And it has fresh tracks that seem to be leading towards a clearing.

He follows the tracks and finds himself in the clearing. the footprints lead to a mass of footprints outside a pulled up tree. The tree had barely any snow on it's bark so it had to have fallen recently. After looking in the tree he counts 6 sets of eyes in the darkness. The eyes instantly disperse into 6 rabbits in different directions, only needing one he follows one single rabbit and quickly finishes it with a shuriken. He then heads back to the tree that had fallen and he takes his sword out and cuts out a chunk of wood. Quickly, he cuts it into a stack of firewood with great ease and places it ontop of some dry grass in the clearing.

Still holding the raw bait he places it by his feet and performs his handsigns, then quickly puts his hand over his mouth and spits out 2 fiery birds. They shoot at the firewood and in no-time at all was the fire started. He turns, picks up the bait and heads over to the tree to get a stick, when out of the corner of his eye he spotted the perfect stick and ran for it. Reaching his hand out to claim his prize, he instinctivly jumps back because he feels something's breath on the hand holding the rabbit corpse. To his surpise a small lone wolf was already lunging at the food again so Pax throws 2 kunia to sereate himself from the beast.

He jumps onto a tree branch over head and tosses the dead rabbit towards the fire. Purely fixed on revenge at the point the wolf paces beneath the tree Pax is standing on. Figuring this may be his only training for the ninjutsu he desperatly wanted to learn he hops off the branch and darts towards the rabbit. Now toying with the wolf Pax grabs the rabbit and places it in the fire. He tries to get some distance before performing the technique, but to his surprise the wolf is alot faster than he is and is almost right behind him. A nearby tree becomes a quick spring board for Pax and he weaves his signs and uses his Housenka no Jutsu - Mythical Fire Phoenix Technique while the wolf was right under him. The five majestic flaming birds quickly set fire to the wolf and its suffering is shown in its eyes so Pax quickly puts it out of its misery with a quick swipe from his blade.

The wolf let off a yelp as the final blow hit it. Seeing as the wolf was very small there was no reason to use it for reasources so Pax decides to take its 2 fangs and then he begins to bury it. After applying the first foot of dirt on the body the forest quickly grew loud with howls. He turns around and realizes that there are four more wolves that are atleast twice the size as the last. Full aware he could not kill them all with one attack since they are all surronding him at a decent distance he begins to plot quick while he waits for the first strike. " I have to get cover or hit them all with one attack" quickly concluding to himself, he reaches for his shuriken and the wolves ready themselves.

He performs the hand sings for his Wind style: Wind Jump and jumps up mid air and begins weaving hand signs again and hold the Rat seal and uses another wind technique, Wind style: Wind Surf and reaches a safe distance to start running, but the wolves were already on the move. He started panting heavily and said "I need to finish this in one attack or this may end bad". He quickly and accuretly performed his Mythical Phoenix Technique, created 5 birds and threw 2 shuriken on each of the sides of the birds. 1 wolf jumped into a shuriken and it hit him dead inbetween the eye, the other 2 had been burnt by the ninjutsu but they didn't die instantly, and the final one further back than the others so he had gotten off with minimal burns.

Just about to give up Pax gets on one knee and put his hand on his blade while the single wolf lunges. Using himself as bait on the enraged dog, he lures it into an attack and then stabs it in the heart with his sword. Exteremly exhausted he staggers out of the forest, with a smirk on his face and a massive heap of meat he brought home for dinner. That night he ate like a king and fell asleep shortly after. He had used most his energy trying to get those wolves, he felt accomplished when he did.

As he walks out onto his previous training ground he can't stop himself from getting anxious. Completely covered in snow, the scars he had left on the earth ar completely invisible over the snow, burnt logs rest along the banks of the stream, and his practice dummy is set up in the middle of the field. The snow reaching a good 3 inches off the ground, Pax shivers and then shakes off the cold as if it were nothing. He had never really been a fan of the cold so he has had a weak feeling since he woke up. It had been his goal to finish learning the technique he has been practicing so much.

He has been training for the majority of the past couple of weeks, that his guardian, Soharasani, has recomended that he takes up some missions from the village when he finishes working on the Housenka no Jutsu - Mythical Fire Phoenix Technique. Pax has been short of Ryo lately but he intends to be dependant of no one but himself. Eventually, he hopes to move higher up in the village and become a stronger, more important shinobi. To him power is his main goal and he is definatly persistant about gaining it anyway possible. He finally decides to take the training from a different approach.

To start his training off he clears his mind of everything and begins to create the seals for the technique. He creates 3 flaming birds and in 2 second he performs another set of hand signs. He launches the birds in an arrow path, with one in the front and the other 2 on the outsides where they will fly right by the dummy. The hand signs before were for his channelled lightning strike ninjutsu which projected a bolt of lightning at the middle phoenix, causing it to explode into a potent firey and electrified attack. The two stray birds were quickly shot down by the stray bolts of electricity and burst into a line of moltent flames.

Although the attack seemed to do alot of damage, Pax felt completely drained. But to his surprise the hot attack melted most of the snow on the ground in a 7 meter wide path towards the dummy, which revealed all the visable signs of his hard work. Seeing this Pax got up with determination and a smirk and got ready to scar the land one more time. At such a convient time too, he had only landed one attack on the dummy and it was a decent size flame on impact, to him if he doesnt hit it atleast 2 more times with a combination he jumps back and mid air begins the seals to his technique.

He uses the Wind style technique: Wind Surf and flys up to a high branch on a tree still overlooking the dummy. once again he creates the hand signs and creates 1 bird, feeling weaker by the second, he catches his breate and shoots the bird at the dummy. Grabbing three kunai in his knuckles he jumps off the tree branch and hurls them towards the dummy and creates handsigns for 1 final ninjutsu. He used Housenka no Jutsu - Mythical Fire Phoenix Technique and created 4 more birds.

Dropping to one knee he quickly sends them to their positions. On kunai strikes the head and the other two strike the torso while the lone flaming bird dropped right on the post of the dummy. The four other phoenixes struck the dummy on both of the shoulders igniting them instantly,and the other two in the mid torso and mid back area completely burning the dummy to a crisp in a matter of minutes. Crawling over to the burning dummy for heat seemed like a good idea to Pax so he layed there for a little before finally recovering a little strength.He stood up and walked home to prepare for his first mission!

Housenka no Jutsu - Mythical Fire Phoenix Technique

Effect: The user is able to blow small balls of fire that can conceal projectiles to damage the opponent.

Description: The user performs a few quick handseals as they quickly take the same concept as that of the Goukakyuu no Jutsu. The user then spits out or hurls out up to five small sized fireballs towards the enemy. Each fireball creates massive amounts of burns but does not burst forth in an explosion. As each fireball makes contact with something, they spread out the fire creating a more of an area effect within the fire. The user is capable of using this technique in conjunction with multiple secondary weapons such as kunai or shuriken. The opponent is incapable of noticing the projectiles until the fire is extinguished in mid air. This technique is used typically to hide or to be used as a diversion for more of a powerful technique. As a D ranked ninja, the user is able of shooting 5 balls of fire. After the user goes up a difficulty class, they are capable of shooting 5 more fireballs.

Still not convinced he has had enough training he returns to his signature field once again. The stressed ninja has been over thinking the justu way to much. After multiple attempts of the one ninjutsu he still believes it has flaws. The flaw that Pax found however, was that he hasn't performed the jutsu itself without trying to add some type of twist onto it. His theory being that chakra changes flow for most actions to take place, therefore using the justu and reaching for even just a single shuriken would have a certain chakra signature and response.

Which does make sense the question that was presented though is what difference would it make? The only way for him to find out is if he gives it a try. Staring at a brand new training dummy he had made, he widens his stance, performs the seals and creates the burning birds. To his surprise he had creates the birds about 2 inches longer and 4 inches wider than usual. Trying to avoid completely burning his new practice dummy, hee shot the birds to land in a straight line 4 feet infront of it. The grounded bursted with heat when it was striken and the field had quickly lit up.

Before the fire subsides, he does the ninjustu once and quickly shoots the birds at the same spot. As the firey winged creature strikes the ground hot ash flies everywere and Pax is burnt quickly but surely. Not wanting to give up now he decided using the attack again at the already burning field would be a quick test of another one of his many theories. Wanting to test it as fast as possible he performs the same technique at the same spot and the the fire burns erradicly. No longer being able to see the dummy he goes for one last technique. He weaves the signs one last time and places his fingers on his lip to spit out 5 more phoenixes.

The smell of burning flesh hits hit sharp nose as a searing feeling spreads through out his top lip. He aims for where the dummy was preiviosly standing and projects the hellish birds at it, quickly following with 5 shuriken. The sound of the fire roaring increased when the birds struck and it was almost instantly followed by the sound of 5 shuriken striking the dummy. After putting the flames out he examined the dummy and was satisfied to see he had hit very vital spots in pure blindness. The scortch marks on the dummy were also extraordinarily large for such a weak technique.

Leaving the training field a little bit earlier than he would like to one thing struck his mind and remained there. He even overthinks underthinking. He laughs to himself and thinks "hah i guess that means im vigilent right?" Confusing himself now he starts overthinking everything. Trying to crack a final joke he chuckles a little and say"I wonder if even what I eat is going to change my chakra signatures, heh that'd be pretty funny." Rushing off now with food on his mind he eats his after training dinner and falls asleep fast that night due to exertion.

Description: After forming the needed hand seals the user will create a fist sized orb of electricity and thrust it at a single target as a steady stream of electricity. At "D" Rank the lightning is only capable of knock a target back and inflict minor burns, and could reach a maximum range of 5 meters. At "C" Rank the lightning is able to cause first degree burns and numbness to the affected area, and reach a maximum range of 10 meters.

After reading his gaurdian's basic ninjutsu novel, Pax finds a skill that he finds rather interesting. "The Lightning stream huh? sounds interesting." he thought aloud. "I need a few close range skills if i want to start to build up a decent arsenal of attacks" With a few words of determination he spoke to himself he tied on his sword's sheeth and his secondary bag and headed out to the training field he spent most of his free time on.

When he arrived he went through his usual training strategy he normally does except this time he spent no time overthinking such a simple ninjutsu. He set up the dummy finally and steps 5 meters away from the dummy and he starts to weave through the hand signs at an incredible rate for just learning it. He remembered reading that at first he needs to use both hands when he first starts out or the jutsu will not work. Putting both of his hands together he pushes the lightning towards the dummy.

The dummy is shocked instantly by a small stream of pure lightning and chakra. Realizing he could only use this jutsu around 5 meters so if he was moving he'd have to consider moving circle around the target. It wasn't easy to replicate this process, actually it'd be near impossible since Pax could not create a clone at this point. For now he'd have to jump around his dummy or try to use it as a combined attack. He knew nothing would be versitile against a stand still dummy so he stood four meters away and perfomed the ninjutsu when it had hit him.

The beam is made of lightning, if he could stike an opponent who was weilding a kunai or sword he would add potency to the somewhat weak technique. Taking a kunai out of his bag he inserts it in the dummy and stands back and prepares the attack. Performing the seals with agility again, he shoots the beam straight at the kunai. Oce the lightning beam disappears he walks up and tries to remove the kunai. To his surprise it was still electrified and he got a shock sent to his hand on contact that had give him a decent burn on his right palm.

After blurting all kinds of profanity at the inanimate object he tosses it to the hard ground and removes his dummy from the field. He throws it over his shoulder and retrieves the ninja tool and walks home with many new ideas for his ninjutsu to add potency. Playing with the numbed spot on his palm on the walk he snickers and says"heh damm kunai must hurt on initial shock." and finaly put his hand down to try to let it heal.

Pax had been lazing around his normal training ground when he had gotten the idea to try to learn a new style. To understand how the style worked he figured he would attempt to feel how the source flows naturally. Figuring water style would be suiting since he is a Waterfall ninja he quickly removed his sword, secondary bag and metal platings from his body. The air around the field had been fridgid so the leather outfit of the shinobi would add some warmth in the freezing water. Without hesitation he hopped into the near by stream.

Pax had begun to hold his breathe and felt as the water moved around him. He could feel how freely the water moved in shape and form. The current had not been to strong so he just sat and began to concentrate on his senses. Bubbles float up from his nose as he can see that the water creates a shape around the air. After almost a minute has gone by he kicks his feet till he reaches the surface. Catching his breathe he floats lazily and feels the water rush around his limp body.

After catching his breathe he goes back under water to try to feel more of the flow of the stream. The moving water had felt awkward on his face as he stared into the flowing water. His hair shot back and he created the Tiger seal to concentrate chakra. The ninja had spent almost another whole minute trying to gather the feeling of the water's chakra. The most he was able to do before surfacing was create a tiny whirlpool on his fingertips after 45 seconds of concentrating.

The style was going to be harder than he had expected to learn so he gathered his thoughts once more when he surfaced. The freezing water had been sending chills down his back but determined to be able to manipulate water chakra he got out of the water and thried to shake his hair dry. Water chakra to him had felt lose, free almost, to manipulate into anyform. The human body itself was constructed on a molecular level of water and chackra. Theorizing that most humans should be able to control water due to the water content of the human body he gathered his equipment.

The water had left him with a runny nose and a cold sensation through out his body. Trying to prevent illness he heads home to change clothing. On his short walk home many things cross his mind, And one thing sticks the instant he realizes it. After he had gotten hom it had begun to rain so he decided to wait until tomorrow to attempt any more training. Still staring out the window he began theorizing more, and begining first thing tomorrow, he would head to the library to find any scrolls on water ninjutsu.

Before his journey to the library he decided to attempt one more session of hands on training. Leaving his weapons at home and his metal platings he set off to find rapid waters. Calm water had shown him how water naturally feels, rapid moving water would have an entirely different feeling.Taking many back path through the village he finally stumbles upon a fast river. It was near the eastern edge of the village along the tree line and the rock had all been smoothed by the constant flow of water. Hastily hoping in the water he quickly finds himself in a situation.The current had been strong enough to beging manipulating his small body.

Being tossed around and pulled under the water Pax quickly gets thrown into a rock in the river.Trying to go against the water to reach an over hanging branch to pull himself out the freezing water begins to take its toll on the young boy.The water itself had felt like tiny ice needles piercing his skin while the speed of the water was overwhelmingly fast. The water had moved as one and had moved so flawlessly through the path that it had began to carve away bigger portions of the ground. The effort the ninja had put in to reach the branch had been futile as he got launched down stream by the water.

Getting pulled under he begins to realize that he should just flow wirh the water as one to reach safety. While under water the speed had seemed to decrease so Pax regained his ability to manuver in the water. Kicking his feet with the current he begins to slowly lose oxygen. Deciding to try and ride it out his vision starts to fade. He begins to panic and starts kicking faster. After almost drowning he was lucky enough to hit a stone slab that had been angled perfectly for someone to wash up on/

The thought of even something thats so vital for survival, being so dangerous was astounding to Pax. The speed of the water had deffinatly added lethality to it along with the fridgid temperatures. The raw element of life had seemed to be more powerful than he had imagined. His mind was set on figuring out how he could adapt to this elemental feeling. Figuring it was worth a shot Pax held the tiger seal and attempted to raise some water from a puddle up to his hand. He had failed miserably the first few times and finally, the water began to rise, and the fell straight back into the puddle.

Completely exhausted he had set off to find his way home. Once home he had dried himself off and prepared to brainstorm again. His gaurdian's book on basic ninjutsu had deffinatly had descriptions on certain styles. That eliminates his trip to the library so for now he relaxes and eventually falls asleep early, completely consumed by the contents of the book.
