Kori training:Suiton: Mizuame Nabara,(Water Release: Syrup Capture Field)
TP: 0/80
Rank: Currently: C, Training: B rank
Skill: Ninjutsu
Effect: Using this jutsu, the user can spit a stream of extremely sticky oily syrup that covers the ground and holds opponents in place.
Special: "Handseals"
Drawback: If used too much, the user can become very dehydrated and needs to drink water to wash away the syrup out of their system. Cannot be used more than 5 times in a battle. Any ninja capable of walking on water can avoid being stuck in the syrup, but needs to do so before being caught.
Description: The user performs the necessary hand seals and with just a few seconds of preparation, the user spits out a stream of sticky syrup out of their mouth and aims it at the opponents direction of the field. The C rank technique had the ability to spit a mid level stream of syrup towards the opponent or the opponents area causing them to stick where they are for 2 attacks. The B rank technique has the ability to spit out a very rapid hit to the opponent causing them and the area they step on for three attacks. The damage dealt to the opponent by the B-rank attack is like being hit with a Water Dragon Blast Technique. The oil is extremely flammable so stay caution of it's sensitivity to fire.
Limit: Water Release, experiences on performing technique that exit the mouth.
Finally arriving at his destination, Kori takes in the sight. Slightly into the depth of trees by the village, it was a little opening with a small lake. He walked here all the time, liking to get time to himself. The dirt on the ground was mostly unwalked, with some dug up dirt from the wild animals that passed through on occasion. Looking out towards the lake he couldn't see much farther than 40 to 50 feet, due to the thick mist hovering over it.
"It's training time..." He mumbled while rubbing the left side of his chin.
Slowly, he walked over to a tree stump that was located on the outskirts of the depth of trees, and focused on it. Starting to do his handsigns, slowly at first so that he didn't make a mistake, he focused his chakra into stomach, mixing it with his stomach contents to create the sticky substance for the jutsu. After another few seconds he finished his handsigns, and slowly moved his chakra up through his throat into his mouth. With all the force he could manage he pushed the chakra out of his mouth, aiming for the tree trunk that was left without its top. Suddenly, Kori spit out a small stream of Syrup, which slowly flew through the air and hit the trunk with a soft *splash*.
"Not fast enough... I need to push harder." He said to himself with dissapproval.
Once again, he began the handseals. He performed them faster this time, sure that he wouldn't mess up on them. Mixing the chakra in his stomach faster, he finished the handsigns. With all his concentration on focusing his chakra, he pushed it up into his throat and tried making it explode out of his mouth. Unfortunately, it backfired. Rather than shooting out faster, the technique shot out in a spray of gooey mist that seemed to have no effect at all.
His dark blue eyes squinting with disgust at his poor performance, he takes a deep breath and then bursts "No that is still wrong!". He sighed, watching the mist fall to the ground. "What am I doing wrong!" Sitting down for a moment, he meditated on it. What would cause it to go faster? he thought to himself. Pushing harder doesn't seem to work... Making it explode out of my mouth only makes it become unstable and lose direction... What else could I do?.
Instantly he jumped up. " That's it!" he said hurriedly, almost impossible to understand. He focused again, thinking If I can't make it faster without reduced ability, and can't have it come all out at once, maybe creating more of it will make it work... . He hurriedly did his handseals, and repeated the process of moving his chakra using more this time. The area around the stump he was focusing on darkened with his concentration, nothing around him seemed to exist. Kori forced the chakra out of his mouth in a similar fashion to his first attempt, but tried to make the stream thinner with a more focused area to push out the chakra.
To his dismay, the speed hadn't increased much. All that occurred was that he had produced more of the syrup substance than before. Expecting to be finished with the jutsu sooner than he was, he gagged on the last bit of the syrup unable to hold his breath any longer. Struggling for air he ran over to the lake not noticing his surroundings and scooped up handfuls of water, trying to drink the syrup out of his throat. His head feeling faint and his eyes feeling like they were going to bulge out of his head, he finally downed the last of the syrup. With a large intake of air his face started to lighten up from the red tint it had gained, his head pounding from the force of newly-oxygenated blood suddenly rushing through his system, he savored his breath.
Staggering back and falling onto the ground he caught his breath, trying to focus on where he had wound up in his blind race to the lake. "Gah!" he gasped still trying to catch his breath. "I hadn't realized this would be so dangerous!" He hadn't experienced that before while practicing this jutsu, and he didn't want to experience it again. I need to make sure I don't over-produce it, I wouldn't want it to backfire and end up suffocating myself... he thought between heart beats and deep breaths.
Wondering about what he would have to do to make the jutsu work right. Maybe my first concept was right? Maybe I just have to push it faster? I could have just messed up, or with my lack of experience with it... Maybe it just takes more practice than one try to see results. Taking a bottle cap out of his pocket he begins to flip it, thinking about the progress he has made since he started at the academy. "I guess I will think more on it tonight." He sighed depressingly. He got up and began walking along the lake back to the village, hoping to make it back before the sun set. "I will be back first thing in the morning."
