Description: Throughout the ages many people have tried to see into the future, to learn if a particular action or event will be for good or for ill. Diviners of all types, from palm readers to readers of chicken entrails have sought out future omens, but for many people the gem of insight is the most accurate method for divining the future. The gem of insight was discovered by accident. An unknown Alchemist had a small piece of mother of pearl, which was used as a worry stone. The Alchemist constantly rubbed the stone and produced a small oval depression. At some point the depression was worn to the right position where the gems natural Alchemical Properties was harnessed. The discovery and importance were not identified until many years later, but today skilled Alchemists are able to carve mother of pearl with the depression to release the Alchemical energy. To use the Gem of Insight a person must hold the gem in their hand and rub the stone with their thumb while thinking about the action or event for which they want to know the outcome. The Gem of Insight will not tell them the exact future, but it will tell the person if the action will be good or bad. If the action is good and bad the gem will tell the person this as well, and if the action is neither good nor bad it will tell the person nothing. The "telling" by the gem is a thought or feeling within the person and not an actual voice. The gem is not 100% accurate; it will give a meaningful response 90% of the time (A Game Master should roll secretly for the result). The Gem of Insight is only able to see about 30 minutes into the future. There is no limit to how many times a person can use the Gem of Insight.

Description: Jewelers are always after the perfect pearl, a flawless sphere that is the perfection of the oysters toil. While a perfect pearl may fetch a kingly sum, Alchemists and others who harness the natural Alchemical properties from gems and minerals will scoff at such a perfect specimen. For these people, the pearls true luster and Alchemy is only revealed in a seemingly flawed specimen. A pearl that has grown with 2 ovoid hemispheres that resembles a brain in shape allows the natural Alchemical properties to be harnessed. It is rare for a pearl to form naturally into this shape, and a highly specialized profession of culturing pearls to grow into this shape has cropped up. Even with growing cultured pearls, the chance of successfully growing a gem of the wise is slim. It requires a well-crafted seed to be prepared and then placed inside the oyster. After several years the oyster is opened and only then will the culture know if they were successful. The pearls natural Alchemical properties is released in a properly grown pearl. Holding or wearing the pearl improves the wearer’s intuition and strengthens their willpower. The bearer receives a +25 competence bonus to Sense Motive skill checks and a +4 competence bonus to Will saves.

'Suke was a man of focus, only needed the bare minimum to survive mostly so with a simple hustle of all his old gear he no longer had a use for he proceeded to the shop. Once there he funneled all the gear into the basic spot of the shop keeper's gaze. Setting all the gear down he nodded to the man and then proceeded to keep focus on everything else. With a simple exchange as this he made sure to set all the individual items apart so they could be more accurately perused while he did his shopping. Finding though nothing of real value save for basic clothing for his children via the grant given to him by the Raikage he merely shrugged and once the transaction was done he'd head on out.

  Description: This is the initiation to become a Follower of the Cult of Nenyana. The user meditates for a month (IC) at least at the Main Temple of the Cult. After this meditation the user is brought to the Mother of Torment where he or she receives a personal message and a bit of chakra from Nenyana herself. This induces a state of terrible pain for a while where the user has to bite through for a while as his body becomes attuned to the wiles of the Goddess.
  From now on, whenever the user experiences pain the user will also experience a rush in addition to the pain. However, due to the diminishing return of these rushes the doses of pain need to be larger every time to approximate the previous rush, creating a severe addiction to pain.
  This jutsu enhances the kidneys, which instead of adrenaline, will now produce a substitute of this hormone when the user experiences pain. It is this that causes the changed perception to pain. In addition, the kidneys also affect the chakra that flows through them, eventually changing all of it into a new variety of chakra that responds differently to the chakra from Cult of Nenyana techniques, absorbing it when it comes into contact with each other rather than be harmed by it.

Renders the user immune to damage and pain from Cult of Nenyana jutsu, meaning that jutsu from this religion only work on those who are not a part of the Cult.

  Drawback: The longer the user goes without pain, the stronger the desire to experience it becomes. If the user goes without pain for six weeks (IC) they will go into a frenzy where self-harm will occur until the user has satisfied him or herself.
  Description: This is the initiation to become a Follower of the Cult of Nenyana. The user meditates for a month (IC) at least at the Main Temple of the Cult. After this meditation the user is brought to the Mother of Torment where he or she receives a personal message and a bit of chakra from Nenyana herself. This induces a state of terrible pain for a while where the user has to bite through for a while as his body becomes attuned to the wiles of the Goddess.
  From now on, whenever the user experiences pain the user will also experience a rush in addition to the pain. However, due to the diminishing return of these rushes the doses of pain need to be larger every time to approximate the previous rush, creating a severe addiction to pain.
  This jutsu enhances the kidneys, which instead of adrenaline, will now produce a substitute of this hormone when the user experiences pain. It is this that causes the changed perception to pain. In addition, the kidneys also affect the chakra that flows through them, eventually changing all of it into a new variety of chakra that responds differently to the chakra from Cult of Nenyana techniques, absorbing it when it comes into contact with each other rather than be harmed by it.

Ikana Miyamoto had been interested in swordsmanship and has therefore went to the local weapons shop to buy herself a katana to train in. Long ago there was a sword smith fabled for his crafting prowess as he made swords many believed to be worthy of the gods though this was not enough for him and he looked to make even better swords, swords that made other swords look like toys in comparison. To this end he collected up a variety of other swords that themselves were considered legend and studied them to see what made them so great however he found nothing special as the swords were old, over one-hundred years old, and so to discover what truly made them so special he restored them as best he could and the result was amazing. After existing for over one-hundred years the blades had gained souls, consciousness’s, in short, the swords have an inner spirit where (only) the user can contact and speak with during any time and upon their restoration their true power was then released as the blades took on the power of lightning. With their consciousness, the user finds it more understandable to understand techniques for the sword, how to use it, and the sword itself. George Reed, the third son of an aged king, never expected to rise to the throne. Most people considered this a good thing as the young prince was not swift of thought or tongue. People walked all over him and even his position as prince of the realm did not immunize him to pranks and jokes at his expense. Tragically, the prince’s father and his older brothers died when their ship sank at sea during a violent storm. Suddenly, the bumbling fool who was the butt of every joke was now ruler. The new king, hoping to honor his father and brothers and to appease Demar, Lord of the Sea, asked the Royal Jeweler to make a new crown for the new king to be made out of coral. The jeweler complied, and presented the King with his new crown. From the day that the crown was put upon King George’s head he became an eloquent speaker, deft at diplomacy and negotiation, and full of verbal wit and wisdom. The people welcomed this new change, but palace insiders new that this change only happened when the king wore his coral crown. The king’s secret was kept until his death when the Royal College of Ritualists finally learned the secret of the crown. When a Super Giant piece of gem-quality coral is carved into the shape of a crown the natural alchemy is harnessed. When a person dons the crown they gain an eloquence of language that allows them to sway others to their side and to learn what other people know. While wearing the Crown of the Negotiator a person has a +25 sacred bonus to Acting, Sense Motive, and Evidence Analysis when trying to gather information through conversation checks.
