Hideo frowned again, his thoughts returning to the revelation that had come to him this morning. It had been a normal day, but then he'd received a letter informing him of the grim news.
He was being arranged and placed into a team.
He sighed softly, shaking his head. It had been decided that he was cooperate in an active Genin team, a thing he'd been dreading for a long time. He could no longer run his own show, do his own missions, and live on a schedule of his own pleasing.
The truth was different though: Hideo was afraid of the demands of a team, and being able to keep up, although he'd never admit it.
He crossed through the gate into the old play-yard of the Academy. It hadn't changed a bit since his years away from it. The sun waned high in the sky, evening was only a few hours away so nobody would be around at this time. He pulled out the paper again, reread it, and put it back into his belt. He was supposed to meet one of his new possible team-mates here around this time.
He found a perch at one of the tables, made himself comfortable and waited. He pulled a small piece of bread from his pocket and chewed on the tough crust. He was hungry lately, no matter how much he ate. The bread also helped him distract himself from how nervous he was.
"I wonder who it'll be..." He said quietly to himself, shaking his head again.
Ever since he'd graduated from the Academy he'd kept a low profile among his peers. He rarely spoke to anyone unless he had to, especially genuinely. The past couple of years following his initial training had been quiet, but particularly lonely. Now his responsibilities as a Ninja had caught up to him, he'd have to adapt to it.
