Akiyo was beginning her training with the Gintsuki no Seikou Mai Master in the Waterfall village. He was teching a small class of roughly 15 various people, a blend of shinobi and non-nin. The first step of the class was learning the basic beginners stance.
"Alright class!", barked the sensei from the front of the room. "Time to begin. First things first, we'll be learning the stance of Gintsuki no Seikou Mai."
With a sudden movement, he slid into the stance, waitign for the students to imitate him. Akiyo eyed him over carefully, slowly and hesitantly imitating him. Alright. Feet are shoulder-width apart, annndd... Left-no right foot faces forward. Easy enough.. Sliding her feet across the floor, she paused to swiftly switch them around, having made the mistake of forgetting that the left/right are reversed when looking at someone. Bending her knees slightly, she nodded in satisfaction.
Next up: the hand placement. Extending her right hand, she curled her knuckles inward and slowly bent her elbow. Taking a few seconds to properly position her hand, she then brought her left up and over her chest. Aligning her body to face between the ninety-degree angle formed between her left and right feet, she kept her face pointing the same direction as her right foot.
"Is this correct, sensei?"
