Weapons
Primary Weapon:
Sword, Short (Overview)
Rank: "C"
Type: Main, Piercing/Slashing, Sword
Effect: Swords that slash hack, dice and anything else within this genre that reaches a certain length.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: A sword with a blade that ranges between 1 and a half feet to 3 feet. These swords can be any types such as the Short Sword, or the Tanto, Baselard, Cinquedea, Gladius, Kodachi, Xiphos or even the Mechete.
Limit: These types of weapons may be capable of being bought inside any Weapon Shop
Cost: 2,000 Ryo
Secondary Items (15 slots):
Bo-Shuriken (Overview)
Rank: "C" Rank
Type: Secondary, 15 per Slot, Piercing, Shuriken
Effect: Is a concealed weapon that is generally for throwing, and sometimes stabbing or slashing.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: Bo-shuriken was constructed from a wide variety of everyday items, and thus there are many shapes and sizes. Some derive their name from the materials they were fashioned from, such as kugi-gata (nail form), hari-gata (needle form) and tantō-gata (knife form); others are named after the object to which they appear similar, such as hoko-gata (spear form), matsuba-gata (pine-needle form) while others were simply named after the object that was thrown, such as kankyuto (piercing tool form), kunai-gata (utility tool form), or teppan (plate metal) and biao (pin). Other items were also thrown as in the fashion of bo-shuriken, such as kogai (ornamental hairpin), kogata (utility knife) and hashi (chopsticks), although these items were not associated with any particular school of shurikenjutsu, rather they were more likely just thrown at opportune moments by a skilled practitioner who was skilled in a particular method or school.
Limit: These types of items may be capable of being bought inside any Weapon Shop.
Cost: 1,500 Ryo per Slot, or 100 Ryo Each.
Grenade: Smoke
Rank: "C"
Type: Secondary, 1 per Slot, Explosive, Grenade
Effect: A Grenade that gives off thick smoke when it explodes; used to make a smoke screen or to mark a position.
Special: ---
Drawback: May harm the user if not thrown right.
Description: Smoke grenades are used as ground-to-ground or ground-to-air signaling devices, target or landing zone marking devices, and screening devices for unit movement. The body is a sheet-steel cylinder with emission holes in the top and bottom. These allow the smoke to be released when the grenade is ignited. Two main types exist, colored smoke (for signaling) and screening smoke. It fills an area radius of 15 meters with thick smoke. The smoke may come in different colors if the user wishes. Different color smoke could be used for information value if need. It takes 6 seconds before it explodes.
Limit: These types of items may be capable of being bought inside any Weapon Shop.
Cost: 1,500 Ryo Each
Grenade: Stun
Rank: "C"
Type: Secondary, 1 per Slot, Explosive, Grenade
Effect: A stun grenade, also known as a flash-bang, is a nonlethal weapon. These grenades are used to temporally neutralize the combat effectiveness of enemies by usually disorienting their senses.
Special: ---
Drawback: May harm the user if not thrown right.
Description: A stun grenade, also known as a flash-bang, is a non-lethal weapon. These grenades are used to temporally neutralize the combat effectiveness of enemies by usually disorienting their senses. When making contact it releases a flash of light that momentarily activates all light sensitive cells in the eye, making vision impossible for approximately 5 seconds until the eye restores itself to its normal, un-stimulated state. The incredibly loud blast produced by the grenade adds to its incapacitating properties by disturbing the fluid in the ear which also lasts approximately 5 seconds until the ear restores itself to its normal, un-stimulated state. The flash bang has a radius damage of 15 meters. It takes 6 seconds before it explodes.
Limit: These types of items may be capable of being bought inside any Weapon Shop.
Cost: 1,500 Ryo Each
Kunai (Overview)
Rank: "C" Rank
Type: Secondary, 2 per Slot, Piercing/Slashing, Knife
Effect: A digging tool, a bit like a trowel. The blade was soft iron and unsharpened because the edges were used to smash plaster and wood, to dig holes and to pry. Also used as a knife.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: The kunai is conventionally wrought in ranges from 6 to 8 inches, with the average at 7 inches. The kunai was used by common folk as multi-purpose gardening tools and by workers of stone and masonry. The kunai is not a knife, but something more akin to a crowbar. The blade was soft iron and unsharpened because the edges were used to smash plaster and wood, to dig holes and to pry. Normally only the tip would have been sharpened. The uses to which a kunai was put would have destroyed any heat-treated and sharpened tool like a knife. There could be multiple kinds of kunais such as handless ones, or even double sided kunais as long as they are within the same length.
Limit: These types of items may be capable of being bought inside any Weapon Shop.
Cost: 1,000 Ryo per Slot, or 500 Ryo Each.
Makibishi (Overview)
Rank: "C" Rank
Type: Secondary, 16 per Slot, Piercing, Makibishi
Effect: Makibishi are small, sharp objects that are mostly used to prevent someone from walking from one side to another, since they would hurt their feet if they tried to pass it.
Special: ---
Drawback: ---
Description: When pursued by enemies, ninja would scatter makibishi on the ground. In ancient Japan, common footwear consisted of sandals made of straw, called zori, which offered relatively little protection against such hazards. Makibishi spines were often hooked, and occasionally grooved to allow for a light coat of poison, to increase the damage they dealt to those unfortunate enough to step on them and possibly result in death.
Limit: These types of items may be capable of being bought inside any Weapon Shop.
Cost: 1,600 Ryo per Slot, or 100 Ryo Each
Non-Weapon Items
None
Character Depth
Personality: Toki sees friends as companions who should never betray each other, and as such seems hostile to those overly kind to him. His trust and friendship is very hard thing to earn but when he does open up to people he’ll confide in them for anything.
Despite this, unless threatened, he’ll treat everyone around with equal respect and is willing to listen to what they say. He has a very blunt way of saying things and people who don’t know him may sometimes take offence in that. He is not bellow praising people though, and may often dish out gushing praise to his enemies if he feels they’ve fought well.
He is a very pessimistic person, believing that the worst always has a high possibility of occurring, this gives him a very cautious impression. This leads to other people see him as an over-vigilant person, but he sees himself as a person who avoids unnecessary risks.
Despite his apparent coldness Toki does have a sense of humour. He is very easily amused and sometimes laughs at inappropriate moments. He is also very sarcastic sometimes and is able to say things with a very straight face if he tries.
Appearance: Toki has a pale face with dark blonde hair verging on light brown, as well as dark blue eyes. He has a chin which other people call pointy, which annoys him. He also has has very thin, pale lips and his teeth, unlike many others from his village, are flat on the top and not filed to look like sharks teeth.. His hair is cut to medium length and is usually shaped into a fringe, but occasionally he spikes his fringe upward using hair gel. When concentrating, he has a peculiar habit where he sticks out his tongue and runs it along his upper lip.
He is a very lean individual who is above average height for his age. His legs are especially long, this makes a very fast runner given his large strides and alos gives him some extra length on his kicks. Despite his leanness he is still strong. On his right arm there is a long, straight scar, from his lower bicep to wrist, since an accident in the academy when another student accidently through his kunai backwards, he protected another student by thrusting his arm in the way of the kunai. He now wears a sleeve (like the guy on the far left) to hide the scar.
Clothingwise he wears short-sleeved shirts of varying colour and cargo pants that come down to his ankles. He wears a brown leather belt to carry his various weapons around with him. When he feels cold (which isn’t often), Toki wears a royal blue fur coat with a hood (although he usually keeps the hood down). On his feat he either wears a pair of trainers or some steel-capped boots depending on what he expects to happen in the day. He wears his “forehead protector” like Shikamaru did in Part 1, with it tied over the sleeve on his right arm.
Background:
Born and raised in the Hidden Mist Village, Toki prides himself in being a shinobi in the village. His mother was a kunoichi for the village and his father was a banker. Like his father, Toki is talented in mathematics and although his father wanted him to follow in his footsteps, Toki and his mother both wanted him to be a Shinobi. Due to this Toki’s father divorced and moved out of village.
At the standard age of 8 Toki started in the academy. He was seen as a slightly above average student with large chakra reserves by his teachers and a semi-popular student with only a few close friends by other students. He graduated at the normal age of 12.
When he was 13 his mother died on a mission. His sensei was openly worried about him but despite being understandably griefful, Toki managed to use his mathematics skills to sell most of his inherited belongings to make sure he has a steady source of money to live on. This involved him selling his house in the modern district and moved to the Harbour Housing as he liked having more open space.
He now wishes to continue in his mother’s legacy and become a strong shinobi but other then that doesn’t know what he wants to do with his life.
