The start of a bright new day was upon Takigakure, the sun blooming over the tree tops as its rays beamed down with a mild heat. As it was a great day for Takigakure, so was it for Shigure. With his new ninja headband, swung ever so slightly around in neck in his long strides, the boy looked to be pleased with himself. Fresh out of the academy, Shigure had the spark in his eye to prove his worth, however way possible.
Such was his luck that the chuunin exams were underway - whether or not many of the Takigakure genin traveled to the chuunin exams - and the village still seemed a little sparse. This didn't stop the fire in his eyes none whatsoever, it actually burned brighter because of it. Even though Shigure was young, his mind was well above its years. H knew if the genin left for the chuunin exams, they would come back stronger, thus providing the village with a better militant force.
With this new found confidence in himself, the young genin stopped moving, his headband finally resting right above his collarbone. As he paused, he reached for a drink of water from a bottle attached to his rather expensive looking pair of blue colored khaki shorts. Taking a drink, a small amount of water sloshed out of the bottle and dripped down his loose grey t-shirt. It didn't take long for the boy to notice, quickly brushing it off with his left hand. The sun at this time began beaming down on Shigure's auburn hair, sending rays of light through the strands, making it appear a little lighter than it actually is. It didn't take long for his momentum to die down some, his wide smile drooping into a stoic look, his forest green eyes sweeping over the nearest parts of the village, not knowing what to do with his time.
