For those who have been on NFRP in the past, we have had a Costume Contest for Halloween almost every year (If not every year). That being said... Its time for The 2012 NFRP COSTUME CONTEST!!!! Though this time... We're doing things a little differently. This time, there will be 3 different contests!

The OS (On Site) Costume Contest is for your profile on here. (Sig, Avatar, Personal text, etc.)
The RL (Real Life) Costume Contest is for you to take a picture of you dressed up.
The IC Costume Contest is for 2 things. A) A picture of your character in a Costume, or B) A very good description of your character in a costume.

The rules for each are listed below.

• [OS] 1) Change your avatar, signature, personal text, and name to a specific thing. Can be a character in a movie, story, game, show, or an object. Whatever you'd like (Provided it follows site rules: IE- Not offensive!)
  
• [OS] 2) Prior to 11:59 PM on November 1st, you must post in the contest thread stating what you are.
  
• [OS] 3) You can change your "costume" at any time, but if you do, you must delete your previous post and repost it with the new costume. Having two posts on the same account in the thread will disqualify you.
  
• [OS] 4) You may enter on up to TWO (2) Accounts. This means 2 entries into the contest.
  
• 5) RL (Real Life) contest must have a picture of you dressed up in a Halloween costume. In the good sport of this event, please don't Google something and post it up. If there is any question as to if it's googled, I will find out myself and possibly DQ you. (Unless you can prove it is you. So perhaps a non-costumed picture will help as well) You may only enter once.
  
• 6) IC (In Character) contest is either a picture of the character in a costume or a good description of the character. I'm not stating a length it should be as I hate those specific length things. But make sure its long enough to paint a vivid picture in people's minds. You may enter for two [2] Characters.
  
• 6) Keep all OOC (Out of Contest) posts HERE. The other three threads are for submissions only.
  
• 7) You may request someone on the site to do your artwork for you. Whether it is free or not is up to the person who takes care of it. Just make sure it's taken care of prior to the 2nd of November.
  
• 8) All times listed are in regards to Arizona time, which is currently following PST.
  
• 9) Any questions may be asked here or PMed directly to me.

As stated already, You have until Midnight on November 2nd (Yes, that means right when the day changes to the 2nd) to post in the submission thread what character you are. From then until Midnight on November 6th, voting will occur for the winners. What are the prizes you may ask? Well... Those are secret :3

Each of the three contests has their own thread to post submissions in. On the 28th for all of them, voting will begin.

NOTE: I decided to extend the contest. It won't end until Midnight on November 2nd. Why? Because the RL costume contest might not get entries until then. And I don't want to do multiples on different days.

That being said, you have just under 10 days to enter any or all of the three contests. 2 in the OS thread, 2 in the IC thread, and 1 in the RL thread. There are prizes for each individual contest. The more you enter, the more chances to win.

OS has already gotten the right idea as people have done quite a bit of changes.
RL has no entries yet. Try on your costumes, take a picture, and show off!
IC Has a couple of entries. But remember. You don't NEED a picture for it. If you want to display your writing ability, feel free.

This contest was done this way so people who were artists could draw their characters. GFXers could modify their characters or make Avatars and Sigs. And writers could write a nice description for their character. So go out and enter!

Today is the last day to post up any last minute submissions! You have a little under 12 hours left to post them up. Especially for the OS entries... Come on guys! Change your sig, your avatar, and your name. BAM!~ Entry for a chance to win stuffs. IC entry... Just type! Write a description of your character in a costume! We're on a RP site. Typing out descriptions should be easy for all of you yet we have only 2 people entered. COME ON PEOPLE! FREE. STUFF! JUST JOIN ALREADY!
