Objective: Collect the supplies and bring them back.
Description: A large batch of supplies has arrived in Taki no Kuni. These items range from metals and glass to large crates marked only with the term ‘Fragile’. This shipment needs to brought to a location only a short distance from the Takigakure Tower.
Special: Must be done three times (By any combination of people)
Reward: 3,100 Ryo

After accepting the mission from the Takikage Tower, Kanae headed toward her house. She had recently acquired a new animal companion and was planning on bringing her along for the mission. Gracie wouldn't be much help on this particular mission since she was a wolf, but they'd get to spend some time together. Besides, Gracie loved going on walks.

"Hello!" Kanae called as she entered the house. Gracie looked up from where she was laying and thumped her tail in greeting. "Hey, girl," Kanae said walking over to her, "you wanna go on a mission?" "Arf!" Gracie replied as she leaped up eagerly, licking Kanae's face. "Alright, alright! Calm down," Kanae said, laughing.

The pair headed out of the house within a few minutes and started walking. Kanae pulled out her mission slip to double check the location. It was about a 20 minute walk away. While they walked, Gracie often darted off to check out any interesting sights, smells, or sounds she noticed. Gracie made sure to stay nearby Kanae and periodically returned to report her findings.

When they got close to their destination, Kanae called Gracie back to her. "Gracie! Come walk by me for a little while." Gracie was a wolf after all, and Kanae didn't want to startle the clients. Within a few moments, they arrived at a large warehouse. People were scattered all over the place, taking some crates out and putting others in.

Kanae looked around, trying to find someone in charge. She noticed a man shouting out orders, and walked over to him with Gracie right by her side. "Excuse me," she said to get the man's attention. "What is it now?" the man said, turning to face her with an irritated expression. Once he noticed her headband, however, he became a little bit more friendly.

"You must be the ninja who's supposed to deliver supplies to an area next to the Takikage Tower. Follow me, and I'll show you where the supplies are." The man didn't seem to be intimidated by Gracie at all. He adeptly maneuvered through several hallways before coming to a door labeled "Takikage Tower Supplies."

The man pushed the door open to reveal several crates marked as "Fragile," metal, glass, and other miscellaneous items. "There's a cart over there," the man said pointing to a corner of the room. "Fill it up and bring it to the area indicated on your mission slip. About three trips should be sufficient. You won't be able to transport everything, but get as much as you can."

The man paused for a moment and said, "When you bring the cart back the last time, make sure to tell someone that you've finished. Any questions?" Kanae shook her head, "No sir." "Alright, then I'll leave you to it," the man said, leaving the room.

"You can explore if you want," Kanae told Gracie, "just don't disturb anything." "Woof!" Gracie agreed. Kanae retrieved the cart and started loading it with the items closest to the door. Kanae made sure to be gentle with the crates that were labeled "Fragile." Kanae didn't have any trouble lifting the crates, which wasn't surprising. Fragile things were usually light.

Within a few minutes, the cart was completely filled. "Come on, Gracie!" Kanae called as she wheeled the cart out of the room. Gracie trotted next to her as they headed towards the area where Kanae was supposed to deliver the supplies. Pulling the cart slowed Kanae down considerably; it took about 40 minutes before she arrived.

Once again, Kanae called Gracie back to her right before they reached their destination. This time, Kanae didn't need to find someone to tell her what to do. A homely woman in her mid-forties came out to greet them. "Thank you for bringing these supplies, dear. Just follow me and I'll show you where you can put them."

"Yes, ma'am," Kanae said as she followed the woman. This lady didn't seem to be fazed by Gracie's presence either. Maybe they were used to seeing ninja with their animal companions or something. The woman lead Kanae to a room that looked like it was used for storage. There were several crates in the back, but the rest of the room was empty.

"Just stack everything here neatly, dear. We'll take care of everything else." Kanae nodded and the woman left. Kanae carefully unloaded the cart and stacked everything neatly in a corner. When she was finished, she called Gracie to her. "Come on girl, let's go!"

As they walked back to the warehouse, Gracie jumped on the cart Kanae was pulling and laid down. "Hey," Kanae said teasingly, "don't tell me you're tired. You haven't even done any work." Gracie thumped her tail, but gave no other response. Kanae smiled and rolled her eyes. She didn't mind pulling Gracie; she wasn't all that heavy.

When Kanae arrived at the warehouse, she headed straight for the Takikage Tower Supplies room. She got turned around a couple of times, but eventually found the right room. Once she got there, Kanae pulled the cart inside and sat down next to Gracie. She massaged her right shoulder - pulling the cart made you sore after a little while.

"Alright, Gracie, get up," Kanae said as she rose to her feet. Once again she loaded the cart with the items in the room. When she was finished, she maneuvered the cart out of the room and called Gracie to her. Gracie trotted along beside Kanae happily as they made their way back to the place where the supplies were supposed to be dropped off.

Kanae stopped once along the way to rest. Taijutsu wasn't her forte and the cart seemed like it was heavier than last time. While she rested, Gracie went off to explore. A couple of minuted later, Gracie came back. Kanae stood up and stretched. "Ready to go, Gracie?" she asked. "Arf!" Gracie replied.

When they arrived at the supply drop-off point, the lady waved to them. Kanae waved back with her free hand and headed towards the storage room. Kanae noticed that some of the supplies she had brought on her previous trip had already been moved or unpacked.

Kanae neatly stacked the items she had brought with her this time in the same area. When she was finished unloading the cart, she sat and rested for a few minutes. Gracie amused herself by sniffing around the room. Eventually Kanae stood and called Gracie to her and the pair headed back to the warehouse.

Gracie didn't jump on the cart this time and Kanae was thankful. It seemed like the cart was getting heavier and heavier each time, but that was probably because she was tired. At least she only had one more trip to make before she was finished. Gracie seemed to be enjoying herself, at least. She kept darting off to explore before coming back to check on Kanae.

Kanae smiled as she watched Gracie. It had only been a little while since she'd found Gracie and now they were practically inseparable. They hadn't done any real training together yet, but Kanae was planning on starting soon. Kanae called Gracie back to her as they got close to the warehouse.

Kanae quickly but carefully stacked the boxes and miscellaneous equipment on the cart for the last time. There were still a lot of supplies to be transferred, but it would be up to other ninja to complete the task. As Kanae exited the warehouse, she passed the man who had given her instructions for her task. He nodded to Kanae before continuing on his way.

Kanae headed back to the supply drop-off point, taking small breaks whenever her arm got too tired. Gracie stayed close to her as she walked this time. Either Gracie wasn't interested in chasing the squirrels and other rodents or they had learned to avoid her. Either way, Kanae was happy to have Gracie's company.

Eventually, Kanae arrived at the place where she was supposed to deliver the supplies. She easily found the storage room without getting lost or turned around. Kanae carefully unloaded the cart while Gracie looked on from the doorway. When she was finished, Kanae closed the door behind her and motioned Gracie to follow her.

After a few minutes of searching, Kanae found the first woman she had met. "Excuse me," Kanae said as she walked up to the woman. "Yes, dear," the woman replied, "Can I help you?" Kanae smiled and said, "I just wanted to let you know I'm finished delivering supplies. I'm on my way to return to the warehouse right now." "Well thanks for all your help, dear. Have a nice day."

Kanae waved goodbye to the woman before heading back to the warehouse. The trip back was much faster. Now that she was almost finished with her mission, Kanae seemed to have a lot of energy. She didn't even need to stop to take a break. As soon as Kanae reached the warehouse, she returned the cart to the Takikage Tower Supplies room. After that, she went to look for the man who wanted her to report back to him when she was finished.

It took a few minutes of searching, but Kanae eventually found the man. She told him that she had finished and he thanked her for her work. "No problem," Kanae replied. Then she left the warehouse and headed back to her own house. She let Gracie in and continued on towards the Takikage Tower alone to report that her mission was completed.
