Battlefield Description: A deep forest with a river flowing through it's middle. Has a lot of large trees and bushes that can be used for hiding spots and shelters.

Battle Rules:
All NFRP Rules apply.
No Godmodding.
The two sides must state all items they are carrying along with them within their first post.
No attacking the enemy on either side's first posts.
First battle posts belongs to Takeshi.
This is a battle between Suna no Mih and Takeshi, no other sides are allowed to participate.
If doing something sneaky must give some kind of sign that you were planning on doing so, for example. 'Mih made a slight movement of his finger'.
Once you have posted, you cannot edit anything but grammar mistake and coding errors. ( For an example, makes a mistake on move, fixes it)
This is an Arena battle meaning that if either sides die, it will NOT reflect on actual Role Play.

Takeshi Tokagekuran was leaning against a tree, twirling a senbon needle between his hands. Ninja pouch on his waist, full of kunai, spare senbon needles, fragmentation grenades, Makibishi spikes and shuriken. While presenting a nonchalant air about him, in reality he was on high alert. He never liked the woods; too enclosed, which was surprising, since he was part lizard.

Who knew what could be lurking in the trees? Almost anything could be happening and he’d never see it.

Mih was cutting his way through the forest carrying Shiwagana on his back and a couple of Soldier Pills and Blood Cloth Pills in his butt bag. Shiwagana's Bo-Shuriken and Dart launchers were both loaded with weapons.. however..

It was such a peaceful day and Mih really doubted that he would have to fight. While thinking that in mind, Mih stopped and took a look at the ground -- human steps and they were fresh. There was someone in the forest. Mih went a couple of steps further and heard a noise. That person was probably nearby. Squatting behind to hide himself in the bushes, Mih took another couple of steps as a human figure appeared before him.. was that an enemy? Mih hoped that he remained unnoticed.. even if it wasn't an enemy..

Rustlings, to his left. Takeshi turned and looked around, eyes flashing back and forth. He couldn’t see anything, but that didn’t mean nothing was there. Time to do a little sonar-ing. Forming hand seals, Takeshi activated his Thermal Sonar technique, and closed his eyes. Doing a sweep of the area, Takeshi found a human shaped thermal image, crouched in the undergrowth. Whoever it was, if they were hiding, it was obviously to attack.

Still with senbon in hand, Takeshi took up a fighting stance, prepared to attack at the first sign of any more movement. Cancelling the Thermal Sonar, Takeshi focused his eyes on the spot where he detected the heat source. If this was going to be a fight, Takeshi hoped it would be a good one.

Description: Holding the senbon between knuckles but also holding their wrist back and the senbon farther up then most senbon users hold it. This adds to power and accuracy and allows the Senbon Taitoku to master their craft.

Apparently, Mih was spotted by the enemy which was about 10 meters away from him and was in a battle stance.. So there was going to be a battle, Mih assumed. Mih slowly put Shiwagana down from his back, making sure to avoid making any hear-able noises and put in on the ground. Mih performed a single handsign and connected his chakra strings to Shiwagana. Mih had to change his position without being spotted and he had a plan in mind to do that.

Mih moved his fingers as he commanded Shiwagana to move and jump out of the bushes heading right towards the enemy. With the command of his ring finger, Mih opened Shiwagana's mouth and with the command of his small finger, shot a couple of darts at the enemy aiming 1 for the head of the enemy, 1 for their leg and 1 at their upper body. Hopefully, they were accurate enough to hit their targets. While Shiwagana was attacking, hopefully distracting the enemy enough, Mih jumped into the shrubs from where he was going to command Shiwagana for the battle.

When shooting the darts, Shiwagana was 6 meters from Mih and 4 meters from the enemy. As he jumped out of the bushes, Mih jumped to a spot close enough to Shiwagana to keep the 20 meter chakra strings radius he had.

Description: The user is capable of controlling a puppet depending on the distance of the puppet. If the puppet surpasses a certain distance then the chakra strings simply disconnect leaving the puppet down along the floor. When first learned the user is able to control a puppet within the distance of up to 10 meters. Each time learned the distance increases by 10 meters. When the user reaches 200 meters there's an additional 10 Training Points needed to learn the technique. When the user reaches 400 meters there's again an additional 10 Training Points needed to learn the technique. These extra points do not go down by Class. User may learn an unlimited amount of times.

Kugutsu no Jutsu (Puppet Technique)

Takeshi noticed a rustling of the bushes in front of him, but before he could react, something burst out of the bushes and launched projectiles at him. Dancing to the side, avoiding the projectiles, Takeshi responded with a well-aimed senbon throw at the target, aimed for the chest area. Moving five metres to his left and hiding behind a tree, Takeshi poked his head out just enough to make out a puppet. If that was a puppet, then there was a puppeteer. Cut the strings, as it were, and the puppet stops being a threat.

Keeping out of the way, Takeshi formed a quick string of hand seals and activated his Rock Creation technique. Thanking the gods that the ground underfoot wasn’t sand, Takeshi created rock in a five metre radius out from his position behind the tree that was at least nine metres away. Once his rock creation was done, Takeshi prepared to unleash another technique, forming hand seals again as quick as possible.

Effect: A technique where the user takes the time to formulate, or create Rock in order to use other types of techniques for great usages.

Drawback: Must be learned more and more in order to be capable of performing better, and capable of producing more Rock like formations for other types of techniques. Cannot be used on Sand
Description: What occurs is that the user takes the time to push down into the ground their own chakra. As the user does this the user takes the earth like materials found within the ground which is the components of soil as they begin to formulate and harden them all around in order to create harden rock like materials. The user may slam their hands against the ground in order to use this technique or just by pushing their chakra down to the ground. A user can gain the capability of grabbing onto the very ground and moulding a piece of earth into a hardened like rock. The more the user learns and the higher the Difficulty class the user becomes the more they are capable of mastering this type of technique. When first learned the user is only capable of formulating rock into the size of their hand. When the user learns the "C" Rank version, this type increases to five meters in radius. Each time learned after that, the distance increases by ten feet giving a total distance of thirty-five meters in a radius distance. For each Difficulty class the User is the larger number this distance becomes. Each Difficulty class after C The distance increases by Ten meters. This means that if a user becomes S Rank in Difficulty Class and learns the S Rank Version of this technique the user is capable of formulating Rock within a Seventy-Five meters Radius.

Effect: Throwing a single senbon from far away with extreme accuracy the user can penetrate certain parts of the anatomy that they learn in their training of this jutsu. By hitting these they can slow enemies down with a single throw, or even do minor damage from far away.

Drawback: Only one Senbon allowed
Description: Using a flick of the wrist this silent technique can send a senbon soaring in. This does more damage than a random throw with the senbon and can add hit certain points slowing enemies down more than most believe possible with a single senbon.
Limit: Must be of the Senbon Taitoku, Must know the Senbon Taitoku Stance

With the move of his middle finger, Mih opened the chest cavity of Shiwagana in order to prevent the Senbon the enemy has threw at her from hitting her surface. As the Senbon entered Shiwagana's chest cavity, Mih moved his middle finger again closing it trapping the enemy's Senbon inside. Seeing the enemy had jumped almost to the limit of Mih's radius, he pulled Shiwagana back for three meters, making the distance between her and Mih 9 meters in total. Mih wasn't the type of battler that rushed out attacking without thinking and the fact that his enemy jumped and prepared for his next attacks by creating a rock showed nothing less than that his enemy was the tactician type of battler himself.

Seeing the enemy used Senbon with their first attack made Mih quickly change his tactics to prevent Shiwagana, and himself, from being damaged. This was a great chance for Mih to use the technique he had developed lately in battle, the Trembling Puppet would make Shiwagana tremble violently making her harder to capture, that is, if the enemy tried using further earth release techniques trying to capture Shiwagana and then go for Mih. As for now, Mih stayed with his puppet 9 meters diagonally from the left of him and waited for his enemy to make a move. Reducing the flow of chakra through the chakra strings upon decreasing the distance between Mih and his puppet, Mih made the chakra strings harder to see.

Description: The body of a puppet is hollowed keeping an open casing. The Chest Cavity is able to hold people within the Chest. This is normally used for Medium, and Large Puppets, however puppeteers may create more Chest Cavities in order to create a "Mobile Prison". When the puppeteer traps someone inside the Chest Cavity the body locks shut to keep the opponent inside. At this point it is up to the puppeteer to install any other defenses that may be used in order to keep the opponent at bay, or kill them inside the chest cavity. Chest Cavity takes up 1 Equipment Slot, and may be placed in the Torso. Each Cavity may hold 1 medium sized human per size of the puppet passed large.

Description: The user vibrates the Chakra Strings and pushes the vibrations into the Puppet. From there the user can make either a part of the puppet, or the whole puppet vibrate violently. The vibration allows the puppet to be less accessible to being grappled and easier to escape.
Limit: Must be a Puppeteer.

Takeshi watched out of the corner of his eye that his opponent, the hidden puppeteer, made his puppet move back after capturing his senbon. Takeshi had to think about this; given the location of the puppet, he’d have to extrapolate where the puppeteer was the old fashioned way; by looking.

Quickly devising a strategy to flush his adversary out into the open, Takeshi darted from out of the tree, straight at the puppet. Finishing his hand seals, Takeshi used his Earth Senbon Creation Technique, creating five senbon from the rock he had created earlier and launched them at the puppet, aiming two senbon for the head and three for the chest. But that was only a distraction to keep the puppet out of his way. Drawing a fragmentation grenade from his weapons pouch, Takeshi tossed it to about eight metres behind where the puppet was currently standing and let it hit the ground. It would explode in about six seconds, so his opponent shouldn’t realise what it was until too late, or would have to move if he did recognise it. Either way, it would flush out his opponent and give Takeshi a chance to fight this battle on more even ground.

Effect: A grenade with a heavy metal casing that shatters, on exploding, into fragments that travel at high speed and with great force.

Drawback: May harm the user if not thrown right.
Description: The fragmentation grenade (commonly known as a frag) is an anti-personnel weapon that is designed to disperse shrapnel upon exploding. The body is made of hard plastic or steel. Flechettes, notched wire, ball bearings or the case itself provide the fragments. When the word grenade is used without specification, and context does not suggest otherwise, it is generally assumed to refer to a fragmentation grenade. These grenades were sometimes classed as defensive grenades because the effective casualty radius of some matched or exceeded the distance they could be thrown, thus necessitating them being thrown from behind cover. Fragmentation grenades have a killing radius of 5 meters with a wounding radius of 15 meters. It takes 6 seconds before it explodes.

Drawback: Must be learned more and more in order to be capable of performing better, and capable of producing more Senbon. Cannot be used on Sand.
Description: Forming the handseals, the User begins to use the Earth Creation Technique to form Senbon in the ground wherever they choose. These Senbon can then fire from the ground at the same speed and strength as if someone had thrown it. These earthen Senbon are shaped like those that are sold in stores and are just as sharp. At D rank, this jutsu forms five Senbon wherever the caster wants. This can be five in different spots, or five all together. The D rank can be learned 4 times for 20 Senbon. Then this jutsu can be learned C rank for 10 more and then B rank for 20 more. Fifty Senbon (after learning 4 D, 1 C, and 1 B rank Jutsu) can be fired from all around the opponent, aimed wherever the caster chooses.
Limit: Needs the Earth Release, must have knowledge of Doton Soushi no Jutsu (Rock Creation Technique) "D" and "C"

The enemy has made the first step, attacking at Shiwagana. Mih closely observed the steps it took him to attack and the way the rock Senbons shot themselves from the rock that he had created. Judging from the distance the enemy was from Shiwagana and the speed the rock Senbons were flying at her, Mih had to pull her back to his location, diagonally to the left from where she was staying. He managed to pull her 1 meter behind himself. With the move of his middle finger, Mih opened her chest cavity, got the enemy's Senbon out and closed it again. Mih had to change the battle tactic. So the enemy used earth release and Senbon for attacking.. What could Mih do to fight that?

The enemy has also threw some object 8 meters from where Shiwagana was before he pulled her out but between Mih and that object, there were about 6 meters since Mih had originally sent his puppet in a diagonal chakra strings. Taking a closer look at the object, Mih noticed a grenade shape but couldn't tell what grenade it was from just looking at it so he jumped 5 meters back just so he isn't in the radius of the grenade's blast or whatever the grenade was doing. With this jump of his, Mih knew he was revealing his location so he had to use a backup plan. With the move of his thumb, Shiwagana's puppet wings, which were on her shoulders, opened and with the move of his palm, she jumped 11 meters to the back from where she was putting her 10 meters behind himself and with the move of his right arms forefinger and small finger, Mih ordered her to knee down in the bushes.

After that, Mih let go of the chakra strings not closing Shiwagana's wings. He quickly performed handsignes and slammed his hand to the ground. Then, with a couple of quick jumps he made 6 meters behind where he had used his ninjutsu, then threw the Senbon in his hand, making sure it flew in a way his enemy would see it. After that, with another couple of quick jumps to the back, he hid himself next to where he had hid Shiwagana. Now the only thing left for him to do is wait for the enemy to approach and to hope they actually approach.

Description:After the hand signs are performed, the user slams his/her hands into the ground. If the environment allows it, the area around the user will become a thick and heavy mud. No chakra is required to maintain the state of the area.

Takeshi continued to ignore the puppet as his Earth Senbon didn’t work, but performed a Shunshin Pull to move ten metres backward as his grenade exploded, hitting anything inside a fifteen metre radius, whether it be by puppet or flesh.

Crouching down into the underbrush under cover of the grenade, Takeshi watched as a senbon needle flew out of a location to his immediate front. So, that’s where he was. Takeshi right now would love to jump forward and charge, but that would be suicide. Either the puppet would get him, or his opponent would. But Takeshi wasn’t done just yet; reactivating his thermal sonar, Takeshi closed his eyes and began to survey the area again. There was a massive heat plume where the grenade had gone off, but his opponent was easily sixteen metres away.

Time was now to think about this before he did something stupid.

Description: User is able to move backwards in a straight line along the ground in almost instantaneous untraceable speed while temporarily masking the user's movements within 10 meters. A puff of smoke is occasionally used to disguise the user's movements. Supplement of Shunshin no Jutsu - Oshi (Body Flicker Technique - Push) while using same schematics.

Seeing that the enemy wasn't intending on attacking him, or at least, not intending to fell right in Mih's trap, he decided to hid himself more properly, closing Shiwagana's wings and putting her on his back. Seeing that this battle had became more tactical than offensive -- Mih decided to wait for his enemy to approach him and then take any action.. So to keep out of enemy's sight completely, with a couple of quick jumps to the back, Mih moved a good 20 meters from where he was before. Calculation the space between him and where he first encountered his enemy hiding, Mih could tell that they are about 40 meters apart at maximum. Mih kneed down behind another pile of bushes, this time, they were around a tree about 15 meters of height. Mih was almost sure that he was this time untraceable as he lied down the bushes, waiting for his enemy to make his step.

Description: When the user learns this technique they will reduce the amount of chakra strings needed to control a puppet. When user learns twice they will be to control Small Puppets with 1 Chakra String, Medium Puppets with 3 Chakra Strings, Large Puppets with 5 Chakra Strings, Huge Puppets with 9 Chakra Strings, Gargantuan Puppets with 11 Chakra Strings, and Colossal Puppets with 13 Chakra Strings. User must learn this Jutsu 3 times in order to control a Gargantuan Puppet. User must learn all 5 times in order to control a Colossal Puppet. After learning twice user will be able to control Small Puppets with 1 Chakra String regardless of continuous learning.

Following his opponent’s heat signature, Takeshi ‘saw’ him move back and hide behind something. That was interesting; why hide? His opponent clearly had the advantage, but maybe that wasn’t it. Something had changed.

Licking his lips, Takeshi carefully drew another senbon, placing it between his knuckles. He could hit his opponent, but only if he moved first. Preparing himself, Takeshi leapt up from his hiding place and used his sonar to lock onto his opponent. Launching the senbon at the target, Takeshi took the opportunity to move back into the trees, where no direct hits could be landed. Now, this was Takeshi’s advantage. If he did this right, his opponent would have nowhere to hide now.

Under the watchful gaze of his Thermal Sonar, nothing could move without Takeshi noticing it.

Senbon Sogekihei (Senbon Sharpshooter)

Effect: Throwing a single senbon from far away with extreme accuracy the user can penetrate certain parts of the anatomy that they learn in their training of this jutsu. By hitting these they can slow enemies down with a single throw, or even do minor damage from far away.
Special: None
Drawback: Only one Senbon allowed
Description: Using a flick of the wrist this silent technique can send a senbon soaring in. This does more damage than a random throw with the senbon and can add hit certain points slowing enemies down more than most believe possible with a single senbon.
Limit: Must be of the Senbon Taitoku, Must know the Senbon Taitoku Stance

It was clearly for Mih that this battle had now changed it's way of going in a more smooth and tactical way. Mih had to examine the strength of his opponent but to do that, he had to find a way to distract the enemy and pull them to his location. Mih reconnected his chakra strings to Shiwagana and as quiet as an old puppet could go, moved it 11 meters forward to the enemy, then, made it move 5 meters to the left and after that, another 5 meters forwards to the enemy. If the enemy attacked him directly now, that would mean that they knew which was him and which was his puppet and if it happened, Mih would now know that the enemy is a sensor type. If things were like that, he would have to change his strategy from hiding to attacking, since the enemy would be able to see him no matter how good he was hidden.

Effect: Chakra strings are a technique usually used by puppet users to allow them to control their puppets in battle.

Drawback: Must learn multiple times.
Description: The user is capable of controlling a puppet depending on the distance of the puppet. If the puppet surpasses a certain distance then the chakra strings simply disconnect leaving the puppet down along the floor. When first learned the user is able to control a puppet within the distance of up to 10 meters. Each time learned the distance increases by 10 meters. When the user reaches 200 meters there's an additional 10 Training Points needed to learn the technique. When the user reaches 400 meters there's again an additional 10 Training Points needed to learn the technique. These extra points do not go down by Class. User may learn an unlimited amount of times.
Limit: Must be a Puppeteer.
