Description: After so many training the Onigami have reached a new whole level of illusions. The "fake people" now have a physical body, they now occupy a space, they even have a smell, this is considered by some the second best type of Bunshins after the Kage Bunshin no Jutsu. The bunshins although having a chakra system cannot perform Nin/Genjutsus but any Taijutsu are allowed. The Onigami Bunshins dissapears after recieving one solid hit. The particular thing about this bunshins is their unique ability to be able to expand their chakra system and this can fool any type of Doujutsu that a Nin/Genjutsu is being performed although this cannot fool naked eyes. A D Rank user can create up to 2 bunshins in one turn, two extra bunshins are added for each higher class, this means a S Rank user can create up to 10 bunshins in one turn.
Limit: Must be part of the Onigami Bloodlimit. Must know Yasha Gensou (Demonic Illusions) "A" Rank. Must know Bunshin no Jutsu.

Stella grinned as she she sat on top of the single dry rock in the middle of the river. Trees surrounded her on either side, and she felt quite at ease with herself here. The Onigami had not informed anyone of where she was going, so it was unlikely anyone would find her here, and she could train in peace. There was something she was looking to train, it was a simple technique, at least for her, and was a very effective distraction, albeit not something that would turn the tide of a battle, at least not when she factored in the rest of her skills being massively overpowering in comparison. She stretched her body, her crimson eyes seeing all things around her for quite a distance. The Onigami bunshin were not too helpful really, as they could not perform techniques, even Onigami techniques. What they could do however, was fool other doujutsu very simply, and the training was not overly complex, so she figured she would spend some time on it.

Her Tasukeru could create illusions in the eyes of other doujutsu, which was a remarkable feat in and of itself, but to make illusion real seemed to step over the borderline of insanity, which was where the Onigami loved to be, in the realm of impossibility. She had already proven that she was capable of seemingly impossible feats, what was another one to add to her list? Her only experience with bunshin so far were her sand bunshin, which admittedly, she was amazing with, but they were only as useful as the amount of sand she had, and currently one gourd was not exactly a great big amount of sand to use. Of course, using a great deal of chakra, she could always create a massive source of sand, after all, creating a desert was well within her power. This seemed a little over the top, and as much as Stella loved that kind of thing, the blonde was particularly lazy when it came to that, why bother creating a massive pool of sand when she could fool someone into thinking she possessed a Kage Bunshin?

Not that she was not planning on using those Kage Bunshin one day, when she finally learned the technique, but they were easily distinguishable as fakes, and that sort of defeated the purpose. Another yawn hit her. She sure was tired, but she had done nothing, so when she finally got up to do things, she felt lethargic and did not want to do anything. The beauty of it was that she really did not need to do anything given her strength already. Her training at this point was just gravy. That certainly did not stop her from trying her hardest, no sir. The blonde let out a little giggle as she stood up, not having the greatest balance and almost fell into the water. The Onigami bunshin were quite particular, they were created using the demonic illusions of her eyes, which she cast out in the area around her, chakra systems. Incomplete ones naturally, as they possessed no abilities or functioning capabilities, they only just stood there. It was enough to fool lesser people, but in battle, even with 30 clones, it was unlikely they would all be just standing there.

Thirty versions of herself stood around her, each wearing the same unburdened grin and wearing the same light outfit, all of them looking cute as buttons. These clones were all useless, as much as she hated the idea that anything about her was useless, they were nothing more than distractions. Good distractions for sure against people who used doujutsu, but distractions nonetheless. Bunshins were weird now that she thought about it, something was quite narcissistic about creating fake copies of ones self. Stella found it fun really, after all, who was as awesome as she was? Why would she not want more of herself around? But bunshins, no matter how much fun, were never able to compare to a real person, which was probably why she was not too fond of using them. A nice thought though, clones that could mimic real life. That's all they would ever be, mimics. At least you would hope.

Stella gazed through her Tasukeru, seeing all of the fake bunshin, knowing that when she deactivated the doujutsu, all of them would disappear. Thirty of them. A pretty decent number, and enough to surely scare the pants off of someone with a doujutsu like hers. Unfortunately, they did not move, so someone smart would easily figure it out. That was why making them real was kind of super important, because if they moved, it would be so much harder for whoever she was fighting to figure out what was going on. How devious, and she allowed herself a little evil smirk. At least as evil as she could maintain, which turned out to look a little more adorable than she wanted it to look. What was the point of trying to smirk if it did not look cruel. She was more disappointed at this than she aught to have been, but it would in no way prevent her from training and adequately completing this technique. No, adequate was not enough; she would master this technique, and she would show everyone!

Her hands followed the seals of the technique, knowing what she needed to do to make them real. It was a shame it was not as simple as the Kage Bunshin seal, which she had seen in action before. An X was always going to be easier than performing hand seals. Her chakra poured from her tenketsu, slowly ciphering into the air, in a condensed cloud around her. Tendrils would form, ten of them, and they would gracefully arc and twist and maneuver through the air, moving towards ten of the thirty bunshin. As the tendrils approached the clones, a particularly large drop of water splashed up from the river against the rock, and went right down the back of her shirt. The frigid temperature of the water made her gasp and begin to wiggle awkwardly trying to get it off of her skin, reaching back and rubbing her back. The shock had dispersed the chakra, which to most would have been a little more than significant, but to her was not overly concerning. Stella shuddered, feeling the cold a little more where the droplet had ran down her skin.

This was one of the reasons she hated training outside. So many distractions, and the weather was cold. Her gourd of sand was sitting off to the side over the other edge of the river, which normally guarded her back, so she had thought nothing of it. Wriggling her nose in frustration, she tried to get back on track, thinking about what she had been doing. Ah right, making the clones real, and making them move. Although she had tried all ten a moment ago, now it seemed a little smarter to just try one, see if it worked, and maybe if she got distracted again, she would not waste so much chakra. She grinned at her ingeniousness. Such simple things pleased such a simple person. Stella once more formed the seals for the technique, which were not too many now that she thought of it. All in all she could probably create these clones in under a second and really change the flow of battle against someone who relied on their doujutsu too much.

After she completed the seals, the chakra once more began to filter from her body. This time, since she only planned on creating one of the ten bunshin to be real, the chakra did not form a cloud, merely forming a tendril right from the get go, moving swifter than it had previously. The tendril moved to the closest of the thirty bunshin that littered the area, and forced its way down the mouth of the clone. The jaw moved in a realistic way as something was being inserted in there, which had been a little unexpected, but as soon as she chakra had all entered its body, it shook its head, moving her fingers and looking down at her hands. Stella was ecstatic, she had managed to create a proper clone from an imaginary source of chakra created by her eyes to fool other doujutsu. The reality of it was quite shocking, and she stepped onto the surface of the rushing water, quickly making her way over to the clone to examine it and see how well she had done with the technique, hoping it was good.

Face to face with a clone like this was weird. She had seen her sand clones many times face to face, but up close, they always failed to bridge the uncanny valley gap. Even from afar, sand clones failed to fool her doujutsu, even if she had not known them to be sand before hand, her Tasukeru easily picked them out to be fake. This, however, was remarkable. Stella reached her left hand to the jaw of the clone, her fingers under the chin and her thumb rubbing the soft skin of the jaw and running over the luscious lips that she possessed, and now her clone too. It felt so real. The clone in turned, stared at her too, the eyes were not normal, they were in the Tasukeru stage, which she was not sure if was supposed to happen or not, but as far as she could tell, the technique was working fine. Better than fine really. Taking her hand from the face of the clone she grasped its wrist, lifting it up, feeling that it did indeed possess weight, and the whole thing was roughly her size and weight.

The clone did not respond, even to her most cheerful of greetings. Maybe it was because she had touched its face so much. Letting the arm drop, she formed a fist and punched it in the chest, dispersing it in a small cloud of chakra. That had been an experience, she had never really thought about killing herself. On top of that, she was pretty certain that if she did decide to, it probably would not end in a poof of chakra, but more of an explosion of resounding grandiosity. Standing on the river, watching the water flow under foot, she wondered about the rest of the clones who still stood around. That one had become real for sure, but she had not deactivated her Tasukeru. Would that have an effect on the clone after the creation? And she had not had the clone move around to test its abilities. There was so much she had just kind of ignored that she would have to test on the next one.

Forming the seals, she noted the single tendril of chakra reach out from her body, the same as last time, and directed it once more to the closest of the bunshin. The chakra enveloped it slightly and once more forced its way down the throat of it, finishing the technique off by creating a substantial body from the chakra. Stella cancelled the chakra that was flowing to her eyes and gazed at her new clone. The other twenty eight had vanished, but this last one was still here, and it looked remarkably realistic. Even without her Tasukeru, she could usually tell the difference, but this clone looked as though she had a twin. Quite a remarkable achievement. The Onigami was about to step forward to go study her new clone some more, when she figured it would be better and more interesting to have it come to her. With that thought, the clone made its way over to her, looking down at the water as though it understood that chakra was needed to walk over it. Obviously the clone could do it right?

It stepped onto the surface of the water, and then continued all the way through, splashing into the water and dispersing in a poof of chakra, which at the moment was not visible to Stella. She groaned and palmed her forehead, pressing the heel of her palm against it. That was dumb, the clones could not manipulate chakra in any way apparently, which was rather frustrating, but she was fairly certain that might have been a mistake on her part, but she could not tell until she performed the technique again. This time she decided that it was just best to make as many appear real as possible. What could go wrong there? It apparently took nearly the same amount of chakra to make ten appear as it did to make one appear, so she was wasting her time by doing it in individual sessions, and the bonus was that she could make nine mistakes and still have one clone left before she had to worry about making more. Training made her think way too much, it would have been so much nicer if she could just go home and read.[/font]

Stella was feeling very happy about all this, so far she had made a couple mistakes, but that was all part of the learning process. All of the other clones had vanished now that she had deactivated her Tasukeru, and she would need to expend her chakra once more once the eyes were activated again, but that was okay, she had plenty of chakra to spare. The crimson eyes lit up, and the world around her was revealed once more in perfect clarity. Sometimes it was stressful possessing such a doujutsu, as her mind needed to work at an incredible pace just to take it all in. Luckily for her, she may have been a little ditzy, but she was not stupid by any stretch of the word, and she was capable of processing everything the doujutsu could take in, even to a point where she could predict movements before they were made, perhaps not as excessively as the Sharingan, but certainly to a point where she was capable of using it in battle to give her an advantage. As much as they did not look as cool as the Uchiha eyes, hers were pretty spectacular.

The clones were birthed into life one by one using her chakra manipulation and her doujutsu, picking spots to create them. It took moments, but she soon had thirty copies of herself around her, all simply standing and watching. Her hands wound through the seals as they usually would, the chakra building in her coils, charging, preparing herself for the technique. The chakra rose through her tenketsu, creating tendrils of the energy, which quickly infiltrated the bodies of ten of the thirty bunshin that surrounded her. Very quickly they would become corporeal, and then in moments, they would be physical beings capable of moving and touching things. This was ideal, ten of them could surely confuse any doujutsu user, especially if they were all acting quit convincingly. There was one special thing she knew about the clones too, they were capable of fooling doujutsu into believing that they were performing techniques, when they actually could not.

Since Stella was currently under the influence of a doujutsu, she did not see why the technique could not fool her own eyes, as it was simply a demonstration. Cancelling the chakra to her eyes for a moment, she gazed upon the bunshin as they gathered around her, all capable of walking on water without killing themselves this time thanks to a more knowledgeable input of chakra. One of the clones directly in front of her began the hand seals for one of her most powerful attacks, a raiton technique capable of levelling a village square. However, the seals were completed and there was no sign of anything. This cooperated with her knowledge of the technique so far, and surmised that if she activated her Tasukeru, she was more than likely going to see the clone performing the technique. At least the formation of it, since surely it could not actually perform such a technique just because her doujutsu was activated. That was absurd. Right?

Well, it was worth a shot. Activating her Tasukeru once more, Stella gazed upon the clone forming the hand seals, seeing the Raiton chakra forming in its coils, and noting the chakra expanding as the hand seals continued to completion. At the very peak, the chakra moved to the air, and the Onigami was sure the technique was about to be performed, but instead of a giant bolt of lightning striking down for a minute and decimating her, the bolt of lightning hit the ground, and an outrageous sound shattered the natural sounds around her, and she screamed loudly, throwing herself to the ground in fear. When she noticed that she was not being melted alive by the monstrous attack, and that the lights were simply all in her head, she nearly lost it on all the clones. Instead the outraged Onigami only destroyed the culprit in charge of scaring the hell out of her. Breathing heavily from shock, she sat down on the rock again, holding her head in her hands, trying to remind herself that it had looked really real, and that she was not a chicken.

After performing the handseals, the user will focus their chakra at the ground below the target. Over a circular area with a 15 meter diameter, a glowing hexagonal shape lights up. After 1 movement the crystal appears to burst forth in the hexagonal pillar effectively trapping anyone within the diameter and the height (based on Shōton: Crystallization) within it. Multiple people can be caught in one pillar but it must connect to the ground.

Stella sat on the rock with some sand floating around her, still bugged out that she had fallen for her own technique. The blonde felt a little silly really, she had been all caught up in it, knowing deep down that nothing would have happened, but she had fallen for it anyway, so silly indeed. She pouted a little, letting a sigh cross her pretty visage. What was she going to train now? Her eyes felt a little tired from all the chakra going to them, so she did not quite feel like training any techniques involving those. The sand peacefully floated around her head, catching the light, looking quite pretty. Her chakra seeped into the air, and outside of the sand, crystal formed, with a sand center, it could still float, but now it had a nice light refracting addition to it. Curiously, she had not mastered the crystal release as she had done with sand and paper. The extent at which she mastered the other releases were far greater than crystal. Why was that? It possessed an incredible power to it, and it was rather beautiful too.

What techniques did she know that were useful? Well, they were mostly defensive, but there were some dangerous ones too. There was one she understood that possessed quite a powerful side effect, crystalizing a human, turning them into nothing but an easily breakable mineral. Terrifying thought really, but it was a sure fire way to get ones point across. The Onigami did not like how contact was required though, she hated the idea that she would need to get close enough to make a technique work, especially considering she was so physically weak. If she remembered correctly, there was sort of an evolution of that technique, one that was even more remarkably dangerous; even involving the same mechanics, but increasing the potential devastation of the technique. Instead of requiring touch, as long as the user could see the target, the technique could work. That was truly a scary thought.

Her Tasukeru allowed her an incredible amount of sight, if she were to combine the two, and even with a sight decreasing jutsu, the combination could be truly deadly. That was one thing hindering her plans, she was not exactly into killing people all of the time. She would if she had to, but for the most part, Stella was quite content with not killing everything. Then again, this technique did not necessarily mean everything died, surely there was a way to save people from being captured in the crystals. Those details would come later though, she needed to be able to think positive about that until the technique was learned, otherwise she would shy away from such a dangerous jutsu. As long as she was under the impression that people could be freed from the technique unharmed, then she could go through with training it. But what if they couldn't? The thought made her shudder, after all, if someone was trapped in there, and was not destroyed, they were essentially trapped for eternity as a crystal.

Wrinkling her nose and shaking her head, she let her blonde locks tickle her cheeks, waking her from her scary thoughts. It was just a technique. The Onigami would have complete control over whether or not the technique was used, so if she did not want to submit someone to an eternity of crystallized hell. The crystal sands still floated around her, and she nudged one with her index finger, watching it glimmer in the sunlight as it floated through sunlight and shadow. The effect was very pretty. Stella liked crystals, it was just a shame they could be used for such devastation. There was nothing stopping her but her own moral compass at the moment, but she had already told herself that she did not have to use the technique if she did not want, so obviously it was her discretion. That thought did not calm her too much though; she already possessed techniques of such vast power, with this one, it was less like training and more like stocking ammo for a great war.

Stella let the sand flow slowly from the gourd, and watched as the stone she sat upon converted to sand also. The bed of the river was slowly transforming until the river was a dirty, muddy colour. All of the earth around her was slowly desert-forming, the trees were wilting and dying as all of their hydration was replaced with chakra, drying them out and crumbling them to dust. It was a satisfying feeling, possessing a chakra that was capable of changing the face of an entire ecosystem. She held the sand back, expanding it only as far as she needed of course, not wanting to make any animals homeless or without a source of food or water, that would be mean. No, she only converted what she needed, and although the sand was nothing to do with the technique she was learning, she did need practice dummies; and since using it on real people horrified her, her own sand clones would be her target, even if the thought of seeing herself trapped in a crystal was a little nauseating.

After a few hand seals and a little expenditure of chakra, small mounds appeared in the sand and she watched as versions of herself began to build themselves out of the particles of sand, slowly rising from the sand as though they were simply buried below. The sand flowed in all directions around their bodies as they were constructed, up, down, sideways, whichever way was necessary. As fully formed humans stood before her, she watched as the final touches came into fruition, the colouring of the sand matching her own. A small smile crept onto her face, more clones. Thinking about the technique and how it was applied, she figured it would be best to practice the precursor to it, knowing that it was essentially the same technique, it was just less hands on now. Forming the hand seals for the next technique, her left hand began to glow and she held it off to the side as she summoned one of her clones to her. The sand clone stepped forward and tilted its head to the side.

Stella felt her stomach clench a little, whispering I'm sorry as her hand moved to the cheek of the clone, gently stroking it and releasing the chakra into it. Very quickly the sand converted, and the clone did not even struggle, just striking the same nonchalant and curious expression she had while being moved towards the real Onigami. The blonde felt sick as the crystals overtook the body, and she stepped back as the sharp edges formed, not wanting to cut herself or be in contact with the technique while it was happening. It happened very quickly, finishing up, with the crystals standing about eight feet in heigh, with the clone suspended within them. There was no movement, not even as she used her sand control to try and move the clone, it was completely crystal through and through at this point. The Onigami tapped the side of the crystal, seeing there was a response from the clone at all, since it had some semblance of sentience, but there was nothing behind those blue eyes, just more crystal.

The properties of the technique she was training were exactly the same, whatever she captured inside of that area would be frozen in time as a crystal, essentially dead to the world. Even worse that instead of being only able to capture one single person, an entire grouping could be caught within the confines of the evolved technique. There were so many binding techniques that were capable of stalling for long enough to perform this technique, and that was the terrifying part. Placing her hand against the large crystal, she began to siphon the chakra out of it, drawing it back into her coils. As the crystal began to melt away, she expected the clone in the centre to be freed. However, to her horror, instead of being thawed around, the clone itself melted with the crystal, the chakra that had composed the chakra construct melding with the crystal and flowing back into her body. She watched sadly until there was no presence of either the crystal or the clone.

The sand clones moved like dredges, wandering about the area, feeding off of the sand that she had created. Stella busied herself with thoughts of what she was going to do about this technique, knowing it was highly dangerous and did not want anything unfortunate to get included in her range. Her first attempt had been rather poor. Considering she had managed to create one giant spire of crystal. And by giant, she meant one incredibly tall spear that had managed to pierce through many meters of rock. It had not quite been right, but she had not been completely off, at least she had allowed the crystal to form from the ground beneath. What interested her most with this, was that even if she could perform the technique, that big bright light that was on the ground before the technique sprung up, certainly was a bother, and would obviously show what she was trying to do. Currently, she did not really possess any binding techniques, but once she learned this, she was fairly certain that she could get some afterwards.

One of her sand clones inspected the remnants of the crystal she had been too timid to relinquish. It still possessed the feet of her clone which she had frozen in the crystal using the prerequisite technique. Obviously it recognized its own feet, but being a clone it lacked the ability to emote, and simply stood up, finding something else to do. All of them were tethered to the real Stella by her chakra, but instead of having them stand still, it was nice to know that she could just input a little extra chakra and have them do their own thing for a little while. Sure, it would be useless in a fight, but she had a niggling feeling most of her techniques would be useless in a fight, so there was not much issue in sacrificing some sand clones anyway. Preferably, and she had not known why she had not trained them, she would use crystal clones, considering their density and the fact that they could actually use techniques that were usable when there was not a lot of sand.

Although crystal clones with the ability to use the technique she was training right now was a scary thought. If she had a few of those clones out and a person captured somehow, then there would be literally nothing they could do in the face of it. Of course, this would require her to have the heart to completely destroy someone, and if they pushed her far enough to have to do that, then, well, their deaths would be a lot worse than simply being frozen in crystal. It was an elegant way to die, and if someone harmed her sister or her village, Stella was certain that their death would be an inelegant one. She breathed from her nose, trying to clear the bad thoughts from her mind. So much unnecessary anger, she was a good girl, she did not need to think about tragedies like that, after all, being the most powerful shinobi in the village, she would just not allow them to happen. Her face turned from concerned to happy once more as she thought of better things like protecting her village.

The clones had begun to manifest around one spot, and she was curious to see what they were doing. She was also curious to see how the technique worked on multiple bodies at once. Although it pained her to do this to mirror images of herself, it needed to be done for progress. Her hands fell into the seals once more, and the rapidity of completion for S-rank seals was absurd, considering her skill though, most would not be surprised. The seals focused her chakra in her breast, and she extended it out, feeling the flow of the chakra through her legs and into the sand that had once been earth. It flowed swiftly and with purpose, visible to her Onigami eyes. In a very short time, the energy was all maintained under the group of clones, who could actually see the chakra manifested as light, and all were smart enough to move out of the way before the technique froze them all in time within the crystal. Focusing hard, she maintained the technique, hoping for it to work as the light glowed brighter for an instant, before the technique actually worked.

Stella admired the amount of effort someone would have to go through just to perform this technique. Certainly she was having a hard enough time with it, but her issues were mostly moral quandaries over the lethality of the technique. This was opposed to others who may struggle over the actual performance of the technique, which was a lesser problem for her considering her Chakra pool and her rather immense Ninjutsu abilities. Sure, it would require some training even after she came to terms with the technique itself, but far less than what would be required from people who were less adept at their trade. She was certainly a master of her abilities, and having mastered many other of the ninjutsu releases, including crystal, she was well aware of the aches and pains of training and practicing the techniques. Chakra control, proper concentration, all sorts of things were variables in the art of performing a ninjutsu technique.

This was certainly no different.

The group of sand clones that had gathered were primed and ready for destruction. The glowing sand beneath their feet was readied, and her chakra was completely ready to envelope the bunshin. Concentrating with all of her might, the blonde Onigami let the technique explode into existence. The light flashed brightly, and she kept her focus tight, aiming to perform the technique correctly. The bright light distracted her, and she had to close her eyes, considering she had not activated her Tasukeru. It did not halt her chakra, but she was already certain something had gone wrong, considering last time she had performed the technique, there had been no bright flashing light, and the chakra consumption had not been nearly as grand. Granted, she had performed the technique incorrectly last time, and this could be how it was supposed to be done, but she had the instinctual feeling that was not the case.

The light that had blinded her momentarily lessened, and she looked at the disaster that she had caused, not quite expecting the giant cylinder of crystal that was supposed to be there, but not expecting what she saw either. The crystal had managed to freeze every sand clone within the area, but it did not create the large structure, it had merely covered all of the clones in chakra and then nothing else in the area. Perhaps because the clones had chakra running through them? It might have worked like a magnet and attracted the crystal chakra to them, crystallizing them. The effect was rather cool, and she admired it, but it had been completely wrong from the get go, so she was also annoyed with herself at the same time. Rolling her eyes and smacking her outstretched fingers onto her forehead at the same time, she wondered how to make it work properly. While thinking, she was distracted by a loud cracking noise, which came from her frozen clones. This was highly unusual given the strength of her crystal, but apparently...

The crystal structures were falling apart, chunks of the glass like structure breaking off like melting ice in summer. In a matter of seconds, her sand clones were freed from their crystal prisons, and they looked about confusedly. This was even more annoyingly disappointing for her than finding out she did not have a thread about her, complaining about what she did, in staff chat. As the clones once more went about their business, she thought about the many reasons the technique had failed. Firstly, it was more than likely because she was not too experienced with performing the technique, and that her chakra output was horrifically all over the place trying to figure it out. And secondly, when the light had blinded her, she had completely lost her concentration, and the technique would have stayed at the level it had been at when her concentration was lost. At least it was better than it blowing up in her face.

Stella had not expected to be able to perform the technique easily. It would not be considered an S-rank technique if she had been able to perform it with ease. No, she had understood the difficulty of the technique before she had even began to train it. Which was why she had wanted to learn it to begin with, since she enjoyed a good challenge every once in a while. This was certainly a challenge too, since she was creating something so large in such a short amount of time. On top of the mass of the technique, there was also the fact she was converting mass into crystals, effectively changing something at a molecular level, which was incredible in itself. All in all, this technique deserved to be the rank it was just because of the sheer difficulty in performing it. After all, if every person with a limited knowledge of the crystal release could perform this technique, there would be a lot of bad things happening to good people. Something the Onigami did not like.

At least with her, the knowledge was sealed and waiting for a time when it was needed, absolutely needed, considering she would much rather bind something that destroy it. This technique did both in it's own twisted way. Not a comforting thought. The sand clones that had been temporarily trapped were once more moving around, separately again, removing the chance of capturing all of them in one go. This was fine, she was under the impression now that she needed to limit the release of her chakra on a smaller scale before attempting the full, grandiose technique anyway. This meant that she would merely perform the previous version again, but tweaked in a way that she would be performing it as the S-rank. In her mind, it made sense, and since she was the one training the technique, that was all that was required. What she would do, instead of creating the technique on its full scale, as she had been trying - unsuccessfully- to do; she would limit the scale to one object, but not touch it as she would do in the previous level of the jutsu.

One of the clones was moving differently from the rest, and she was annoyed it had taken her this long to notice it. It appeared that one of the legs of the clone was still partially transformed by her technique, which meant it had worked in the slightest of regards. This gave her a glimmer of hope, and brought her back up to high spirits. After all, now she was able to focus on the technique even harder, now that she knew she had succeeded in even the minutest way possible. Grinning, she knew that she had also found her target, because the clone had already proven susceptible to her chakra, it would be easy to finish off. Hopefully at least. Focusing on it, her eyes fired up, the chakra burning through her iris, creating the Tasukeru once more. All things were visible to her, but she remained fixed on this single clone. Her chakra focused inside of her body as she performed her hand seals. Each seal multiplied the chakra in her body, giving it a focal point of concentration.

The chakra seeped through her tenketsu like a cloud, moving out very quickly at her target. In an instant, the earth around it, only one meter in diameter, glowed brightly. The brightness did not affect her this time, she was in complete control, now that she knew the specifics and she was shrinking the area to ensure maximum effectiveness of the technique. The glowing brightened, and she finished the seals, slamming her hands together in the final seal, releasing all of the chakra she had built up in the ground below, and released it in an explosion of sand, chakra and crystal. The spire of crystal twisted up, grinding against the rocks that were buried under the sand that had not been converted. The screeching of the crystal tearing through matter enthralled her, and she watched the clone struggle as the chakra enveloped it, changing it's molecular structure, freezing it for eternity. In moments, it was over, and before her, about nine feet tall, there was a new crystal structure.

Positively giddy with excitement, she had successfully performed a variant of the technique. It had simply been a smaller version of it, but either way, the application of the technique had still been successful, which is more than what she could say about most of her attempts thus far. Still, this one thing had given her quite a bit of hope for her training, now she needed to perform the whole thing and she needed to do it under a little more stress. What was the point of being able to perform a technique if, at the moment you needed to do it, you were frozen and unable to do it? She nodded her head in agreement to herself, borderline insanely. This looked like a way better idea. Drawing more clones from the sand until she had about seventy, she pondered what to do next. Well, aside from the obvious, which was to have them attack her. Looking thoughtful for a moment, she had not realized that she had already given them their orders, which was to try and break through her sand shield.

The automatic sand defence rose up to protect her multiple times before she actually realized that she was already under attack. Apparently the clones were pounding their weak little fists against the unbreakable power of her defences. However, when there was a massive mound of clones running and jumping at her, she wondered how well her shield would hold up against about seven tons of sand. Probably pretty well, but just in case, she drew sand around her in a large ball, covering her from the outside world. Spears of sand pierced through the clones that had jumped on top, but considering the attack was made out of the same material as the clones, she had not expected it to work, she had simply wanted to make some room. Most of the clones were still on top of her barrier anyway, but her Tasukeru spied a few off in the distance, who had been thrown off by her technique and were now brushing themselves off. Those were her targets, divide and conquer was the best tactic after all.

The hand seals were completed very quickly, and the chakra seeped through her feet into the earth, and with her Tenketsu she could see the chakra seeping through the earth. It was obvious that the technique was working, as she could see the light below the feet of the clones, who were also distracted by it, and had decided that removing themselves from the area if the circle, that they were doing the right thing. They were right, and all twelve of them nearly managed to escape, but one of the clones was caught half way in the technique as the massive crystal pillar formed violently into existence, breaking the earth under the sand and removing any obstacles in it's path of creation. Everything within the range of it was instantly crystallized, including half of the sand body of the clone, which did not feel pain, but understood that it was going to break its body to pieces getting out. If that had been a human, half of their inner organs would have been minerals, and they would have died a very painful death. One Stella would rather not think about.

The clone had taken too much damage to be of any use, after having been pierced by a spike of sand and now half of its body had been turned to crystal, there was not much left for it. The sand body of the clone failed it, and it collapsed into a pile of sand. A small victory on her part, but there were still plenty of other clones for her to capture. Sniffing a little, she tried to avoid the feeling of being too haughty about her skill, she was fallible. Maybe. The clones that had freed themselves from the circle before the technique had frozen them for eternity were proceeding to throw themselves at her with all the force they could muster. They could not break her defences though, and she continued her planning. Since they were covering her completely, there was no way she could use the technique without freezing herself in crystal too, which would have been the stupidest thing ever, and even Stella was not silly enough to make that mistake.

With a burst of her chakra, the sand shield that had been covering her exploded outward, sending the clones showering everywhere. This gave her some breathing room, and she assessed the situation with her Tasukeru while the sand clones were getting back to their feet, ready to attack again. Obviously since they were so dispersed, using her technique now would capture so few of her targets, so that was a waste. What she did want to do though, was go straight up, and see if they would follow her. A platform of sand lifted her high into the air, and she moved about swiftly, moving out of the way of the sand projectiles they attempted to throw at her. This was rather simple, as simple as the clones at least, who were now gathering beneath her to try and form a ladder or some silly thing. She giggled to herself. Her clones were as crazy as she was. Now that they were all grouped together, it would be way easier to do. This was better, they were only simple clones, so obviously this was the case.

As her hands formed the seals, Stella faltered, as her Tasukeru was displaying something that she had not expected. Underneath her, where the mass of clones had been idiotically piling on top of each other in an effort to get to her, they were actually forming one giant clone, and they were pulling in sand from all around them too, forming one giant mass of sand. Raising her eyebrows in disbelief, she waited, wanting to see where this was going; as this was going to make things horribly entertaining. As the sand clone grew in size, she opted to raise a little higher into the air, putting her at about one hundred meters. The clone roughly fit into that amount and stood up to it's full height, just one giant version of her. It looked up at her, a grin on its massive face. Apparently with the combined bodies of her clones, it had managed some semblance of sentience, which made the battle all the more attractive. Standing at about seventy five meters high, it swung one massive arm up at her, which she dodged swiftly using the makeshift platform.

Her hands formed the seals of the technique she had been training all of this time, and the chakra formed on the chest of the great sand beast, since it was still technically ground. A large crystal formed in the center of its chest, which cracked and ground violently as the beast continued moving, the immense pressure of compacted sand breaking even her powerful crystal. In an ear splitting explosion of crystal, the giant spot in the center of the sand clone exploded, leaving a monstrous hole in the chest. Naturally, being sand, it did not feel it, but it did feel the fact that now there was a critical amount of sand missing from its construct. Not enough to take it down thankfully, otherwise that would ruin her fun immensely. Inviting it to attack her again, she did not expect the giant bullets of sand that it ejected from its hands, and she was forced to raise a shield of sand in front of her to avoid her platform being destroyed.

This put at her at a disadvantage, as she had now been thrown on the defensive against a beast like this, and while she was distracted protecting herself from the bullets, it reached up with her other hand. Knowing that it would be futile to move out of the way, she formed the seals for the technique once more as it stretched up. The ground beneath its left foot would glow, and the crystal would envelope it, halting its ascent into the sky towards her, and separating its foot from the rest of it, sending it careening forward. It did not forget about her, and with the last vestiges of strength, closed its massive hand around her, eliciting a very rare curse word from her as she coated her body in an armor of sand, an armor of paper, and then created her defensive ball of sand around herself too as she hurtled towards the ground, with many tons of sand on top of her. The sound was deafening, and she used her sand to support her, knowing that she would hit the ground hard.

Stella watched the world outside of the sand coffin moving swiftly as she travelled towards the ground. The hand holding her hit the ground, and the ball she was contained within did also, and the sound was deafening. The cacophony of destruction caused by the weight of so many tons of sand hitting the earth was extravagant. However, within her little defences, she was protected and only shaken up as opposed to being smashed up into little pieces. Coughing, she used her sand control to move the sand out of the way, but the giant clone still seemed to be in control of that sand, and she had not won the fight just yet. Her chakra was quite depleted too, from the use of so many of the Crystallizing techniques in a row, having made her work her ass off just to get the giant clone on the ground. Allowing her chakra to seep into the sand, she split the massive clone, sending them all up into the air in a disorganized rain of her physical manifestations.

Her hands formed the seals of the technique and the ground began to glow in the same manner that it usually did before this technique occurred. This time though, with all the clones up in the air, she knew where they were going to land thanks to the predetermination of her Tasukeru, and she had struck them so, that they would land at least in a rough area where she needed them to. As they fell from the sky, her seals were completed and the ground began to glow once more. As they approached the ground, the spire of crystal began to form, and almost instantly it was like a flash freeze, with multiple clones frozen in the depths of the crystal. She grinned at her ingenuity, looking as the few remaining clones were dashed against the large crystal construct, breaking the chakra that was holding them together and ending the situation all together. Breathing out finally, she stuck out her tongue in exhaustion, tired of all that crap. It had been fun, but she hated techniques that required so much work to learn.

Tentatively, she approached the crystal, her hand touching the surface of the surprisingly cold material. Her fingers traced lines across it, and she marvelled at the strength of the technique. It was very large and dangerous, but a remarkably beautiful technique. If she did not know that the beings trapped inside had merely been clones, then she would have been quite sorrowful over the bodies trapped for eternity inside of the crystal chamber, unable to get out. Her fingers kind of hurt from all the seal making. Usually she could get away with performing techniques with so few seals, or just using her sand to deal with things, but this technique had put a lot of strain on her and her fingers, which had exhausted her in many different ways. Rubbing her poor, sore hands, she sat down and relaxed. Her body was exhausted from all the excitement, and being an Onigami, excitement got her very tired, very quickly, and she hated it. Her body was powerful in some respects, and so weak in others.

The crystal was cool against her back as she leaned against it, pondering the technique and the challenges she would face using it in a fight if she absolutely had to. The simplest way was to bind an opponent, but if she had an opponent bound, using that technique seemed to be a bit overkill. The only time she could think that this technique would be plausible, was if she wanted to show off or make an example of someone, but she could not see herself being mean enough to ever want to make an example of someone. Now she felt a little disheartened at the fact that she was too kind to probably ever use this technique. Stella grumbled to herself, she needed to choose what she was doing more wisely, otherwise she just looked plain silly. Sighing, she leaned her head back, hitting the back of her head against the crystal behind her. A nap would be good right now, but she had managed to waste a good few hours training a technique that was horribly impractical, and now she was itching to do something a little less silly.

Description: Once the shinobi forms the necessary hand seals and brings forth their chakra, the Shiokiba no Jutsu will cause the ground beneath the target(s) to turn into mud and sink rapidly, creating a kind of deep crater. While sinking, the concave walls will overturn and protrude with hardened spikes as if the ground is eating the victim(s) before sealing itself closed, leaving behind only a mildly disturbed. The technique is a mid to long-range ability and will not distinguish between friend and foe. All creatures caught within the sinkhole will be devoured and crushed. The size of the sinkhole is directly proportional to the skill level of the shinobi as well as his/her knowledge of the Doton - Soushi no Jutsu (Rock Creation Technique).

Most, if not all of the sand had been captured in the large crystal, whether or not it was in the form of a clone, it was mostly trapped in there. Stella debated on whether or not she could use the sand inside still, and break the crystal to pieces, but she highly doubted it. Now she had very little sand to work with. Although she was kind of sick of it anyway, after that brief stint of craziness, she had spent a couple minutes getting all of the sand out of every nook and cranny of her hair and body. That was the worst thing about mastering and using sand, it got everywhere, even with damn near perfect control like she possessed, she still found herself unable to prevent that. Tutting to herself, she tried to figure out what she was going to do now. There was not enough sand to do anything extravagant, and even if there was, she did not really want to have to mess with it any more, too sandy.

It had been a while since she had practiced any earth techniques though, so there was always that. Grumpily, she kicked a rock, watching it bounce around before it hit the edge of the wasteland she had created. The river had been dried up, and the trees had all died, and now there was just a large recess in the earth where the forest might have grown plentifully. The Onigami felt a little guilty. There were large crystals laying about the area too, lots of shards, and then some massive prisons that she had created. They looked quite out of place, and she was seriously thinking about turning this place into a little bit of a hideaway. That could always be fun. First things first, the sand creation had taken a large chunk of the bedrock away while she had converted things, this left the earth very smooth, but it also left a lot of roots and a kind of ugly look to the ground where the sand had stopped eroding the earth.

There was a perfect technique to deal with this, and it would make the area even larger too, but it would give the earth a substantially more mixed feeling, and not weird looking. The technique involved a lot of destruction, and quite a bit of chakra, and hell, if it was used in the right situation, could sink half of a village, especially with her chakra output. It was a dangerous technique, but she wanted it for the size and the capacity to change the landscape as she needed it. Personally, she had never seen the technique being used, but she had read about it in the library while she was in the academy, and had always been very interested in learning it. Why she had waited this long to use it was weird, but now that she had the chance, she was damn well going to use it. It required her to extend her chakra into the earth, and not even touching it, which was a bonus, and then cause it to churn, as though she was creating an earth quake and a land slide all in one.

In all honesty, the devastation this technique incurred was monstrous, especially on the scale she planned to do it. Most of the trees in the area would be devoured, and some of the animals, but she planned on scaring them off before she performed it anyway. If they were even still around considering the uproar she had been causing so far. Nonetheless, she was very excited, even if she was a bit tired, her euphoria at the idea of creating a large oasis all for herself was very stimulating. Grinning, she sent a pulse of her chakra through the ground, cracking and creating loud noises as the solid earth broke beneath the force of her earth chakra. Birds and animals skittered off in all directions. Not as many as there would have been if she had just arrived, but certainly enough for her to have felt bad if she had accidentally killed them. Well, except the birds, they would have be fine. And the fish. Forget fish.

As the ground gave away to her chakra, she pondered the power of the technique and how it was performed. Obviously it was a lot like a whirlpool in water, but it did not require rotation, it was just folding the earth in on itself multiple times over. That was about as exciting as the planning got. Stella did not really want to think about the specifics too much, when she did, she usually got them wrong. It was definitely best to learn while performing the technique as she always did. Rubbing her hands together, forgetting about how sore her hands and arms already were, she began to let her chakra seep into the earth, the crumbly ground forming itself together, bound by her chakra and usage of earth creation. In all directions, the ground would harden and she would control it with her chakra. What little sand remained hoisted her up into the air, and she sat on a little chair while she floated over the land, not wanting to be part of the devastation.

The rock hard earth that composed the ground now was quite ready. Already the large hole in the ground was prepared for her technique, but she knew that on her first try, the technique would never work, and she had learned that the hard way on her previous technique, so this time, she was going to try it a little differently. Forming the hand seals for the technique, she produced only a small amount of chakra for the first attempt, knowing that it was about application over extension when the technique was initially being practiced. Once she was capable of applying the rudimentary processes of the technique on a small scale, it was a simple matter of transferring it up in size to a larger scale, and then finally moving it onto the full scale where she could actually perform the technique at the level it was meant to be performed at. Stella could hardly contain her enthusiasm at this, since when she was performing this technique at max level, it would be so unreal in the amount of destruction, the flashiness of it could not be underwhelming.

Her hands made a couple of seals and her chakra was focused on the seals, and she aimed for a spot with one of the smaller shards of crystal that had been shattered by the enormous sand clone. It was only about two feet in height, so it made for easy pickings, even when she shrank the technique down to one seventy fifth in size. The sink hole she planned to create was only two and a half meters in diameter, enough to churn a couple of tons of earth over a few seconds. As her hands completed the few seals needed, she watched as the crystal shrank down, being devoured by the earth, which crunched it and tore at it. The strength of her crystals were probably greater than the force that could be applied by a regular technique of this rank, but that was the beauty of it, since it occurred over a period of time, the damage would build and increase with every moment the crystal was trapped down there, which would most certainly break it after a few seconds.

A sinkhole this size could be maintained by someone such as herself almost indefinitely, since the drain of the chakra was so minuscule her chakra would restore itself faster than the chakra could be depleted. The crystal raised to the surface once more, still being churned up by the technique. There was a resounding crack that could be heard even over the sound of the earth being moved. Shards of the crystal began to appear at the surface. Elated by the victorious sight, she clapped her hands a little, seeing the destructive potential of such a technique. Hell, even she would not be able to crystalize the technique, as she was unable to crystalize something of that size without a little time, and on top of that, with every little bit that could be turned into the the crystal, it would just be churned up and spat out, the shards of which would then be used to devour whatever else was in there. Somehow trying to crystallize it made it seem even more terrifying.
